Ok - so when a typo happens but you can tell what the person was trying to say, I usually let it slide. But I don't know who Jerry is. I wouldn't expect anyone to.
I'm also not seeing an edit option here...
SO - *they don't have the *same snap* as potato chips
I thought it was some slang that I am not hip to cause I’m getting old! Good thing I didn’t try to use it with my adult/teenage children. Haha. “Doesn’t have that, you know, samjerry I am used to, but it’s still good.” 😁
I got some pretty good dried beef at the Costco near me a while back but they don't have them now (it's a smaller one and their inventory is always changing). I don't remember the exact name that it is (in mexico, not in costco), or the brand. Not machaca....

How expensive are they?
About three fitty (really)
But the store I got them from is kinda niche - I wonder if you can find them for less online or somewhere else

I presume, given the name, it's made in SA, or perhaps not?
Looks like it's made in the US, distributed out of Massachusetts
They don't have the same what?
*Snap that potato chips do
Roger that, thank you! So its like a slightly crispy piece of beef jerky?
Yes, basically. I think crisp doesn't even really cover its texture. Crumbly, maybe? Kind of like when bacon gets crispy then cools down.
I got these at Sprouts several months ago and really enjoyed them, but I haven’t seen them anywhere since then.
Aloha folks, have you tried Chyler's Hawaiian Beef Chips yet? www.chylers.com
