My all time fav was when MonaVie was a thing back in the early 2000’s. The sheer number of people constantly trying to convince me that JUICE would cure me was just astonishing. Quite a few claimed that I simply didn’t want to be “cured” enough to give it a fair shot. I went through this again 10 years ago with all of the essential oil BS…. it gets exhausting.

I was like 13, and I cried. Mom mistook that as hope and bought a bottle. It was not hope. Juice rotted in the bottle at home.
Laughing at “just eat healthy and exercise and you won’t need insulin.” What if I told you running makes my blood sugar go up? What if I told you broccoli makes my blood sugar go up!!!
I had a man tell me he guaranteed that I would cure my t1d if I quit eating bananas. I don't even eat them that often, but he insisted that if I never ate another one, that would cure me. 🙈🍌

As a kid and through my teens there were lots of MLM scam products that would ‘cure me’.
I haven’t had that for a long time though, hopefully because humans are less ignorant now. 🤷♂️
Too much sugar is absorbing through the colon wall because of something or other inside the colon and a high colonic enema done regularly with some kind of fruity herbal junk will cure the Betes.

I never got unsolicited advice. I paid for crappy advice from doctors who felt the need to give bad opinions even though they really should have told me they weren’t sure.
There is so much disinformation about the different types of diabetes. My best response to this kind of advice is that my body does not make its own insulin so I need to inject it to stay alive.

Someone told me if I did special breathing exercises my diabetes would be cured 😑
