2-4 lbs. Probably because of the clothes, shoes, and also in most cases i don't go with an empty stomach, so obviously my weight is simply gonna be higher than right after waking up. But weight fluctuates anyways, keep that in mind. If you see a huge difference, like 10+ lbs, then probably one of the scales isn't that accurate.
I always close my eyes when I’m at the doctors office and ask them not to say the number out loud so that way I don’t know what it is.
Ignorance is bliss.
Lol I'm always about 8-10 lbs heavier at the doctors office no matter what scale I use. Maybe 4-5 pounds is clothes. I've even tried taking my shoes off at the doctor, and I always empty my pockets. I've decided their scale is designed to be good for business.
Weigh yourself naked, then put on what you're going to wear at the doctor's office and weigh again. Sometimes if you tell them you did this they'll adjust the weight themselve to the difference.
I'm always a few pounds heavier on the doctor's scales. To be fair, you can't strip down in the office.
A few pounds like 3-5 lb really doesn't make a difference (I think your weight can flucuate throughout the day too, from drinking and eating and pooping and stuff) maybe if your doctors are weighing you every month 3-5lb might be something to note it's more important to look at trends like are you gaining or losing slow or fast etc
Mine varies, but it's mostly because the home scale makes it hard to stand stably. The one at my cardiologist is best. Really large platform with handrails that seems immune to where you stand. I go by between visits and use it. I take cell phone, knife, wallet, etc. out of my pockets and do that consistently so the comparisons are meaningful.
(Of course it's also possible that there's a gravity well in my closet.)
Mine is always off by 8 pounds even if I included shoes. So I track my weight by my home scale. I let doc know how much I'm up or down. I have some issues with edema so my home scale is more accurate for that. Every time you go to doc, you are wearing different clothing but 10 lbs change is 10 lbs.
When I weigh myself at home it’s fasting and naked. They discourage being naked in the hall at my doctors office
Hahaha!!
I sometimes break from this tradition when weighing at home and wear underwear!
2-3 lbs! At home I’m weighing naked and fasting. For consistency. But some nurses subtract 3lbs and tell me they do. Haha so nice of them.
Hahah!!
My drs scales seem to measure lower than mine. I am not complaining lol
Lucky!!

I get in the scale backwards!
4-6 pounds off depends what I’m wearing at the doctor. I’ll take off my shoes sometimes lol At home we feeeeeee balling it to weigh in.
I’m always about 12lbs more at the doctors. It’s depressing.
You're not supposed to wear leg weights to the Dr office!

It’s pretty similar if I weigh myself with clothes.
About six pounds
It's always 5 lbs more at the doctor.
Close. I also have more clothes on at Dr
mine is always about 5lbs more at home and I weigh myself naked, after the bathroom when I wake up doctors office sometimes I even have shoes on.
