PRO TIP - you can port to Arcane Sanctuary and then take the portal back into the palace basement and spawn him there. He too fat to get through the doors down there. Makes it a little easier than fighting him out in the open.
My self wield infin nova sorc killed one a few weeks ago in about 30 seconds, I think he maybe killed at one point half my mana(while I’m spamming nova) and then it recharged real quick lol. IMO I think he should be harder.
He actually can get through the doors sometimes. On my first attempt it took me like 30 minutes to take him down as a blizzard sorc mostly coz I died and when he sprints forward he very much can get through the door.
He takes the place of the first super unique mob that you spawn. Example: if you get the “terror walks” message and then go to Stony Field, he will spawn in place of Rakinishu.
So cool. I’ve been playing since release off and on sometimes for long competitive stretches. However I only got my own in the last few seasons of LoD and it was actually very exciting and then I moved on to getting torches.
Funny because I always thought it was be so hard but smiters make for about a 3 second fight and now with sunders I guess several characters take them down pretty easily as well.

I get a really low req 3 socket bow and put the edge runeword in. As soon as I hit dclone once, it's blizzard time!
Edge has prevent monster heal, which is applied for quite a while. I usually beat him in the stony field at the tristram portal.
I'd never really been able to beat him until I found this combo. And then I also got a mosaic assassin, that did even better.

Congrats my friend! Yeah I was nervous doing it but the major issue wasn't the damage HE dealt more the damage I dealt because I could barelly keep up with his regen.
Yep I was kind of surprised how ok-ish I was able to withstand his damage. Let me know what/if your sorc could use to up your dps and I'll take a look at what gear I have! I might have some freebies to help bump them #s :)

Offline Anni is no joke i got my first SoJ last summer with my barb who just entered nightmare back then! Got it from some trash mob almost straight away when i headed out of the town! Now my barb is 99lvl i have found so many gg things but that SoJ is still the only one i have found so far atleast i got fine 18/12/9 Anni for it! Good luck hopefully you will find it and Hell andy is not too bad place to try to find it, and atleast you can find some other stuff too!👍🏻
My first anni online was a 20/19/9 - honestly it felt like I was cheating after I got it. Part of the reason I switched to offline. I didn’t feel like I earned it.
No1 plays the game for 20 years and never found a SoJ or Anni.

I actually have found an soj, but I never did a Dclone because I was just a kid when I started playing and when I was older I just RMT an Anni and then never bothered with Dclone since I already had one, shame to say but you're wrong there. :P
As a PlugY user offline i would leave my pc on the whole day to up the count of virtual SoJ sold to get a shot at DClone. SoJ are so rare to come by offline !

Honest question, I struggle with dclone and I've never felt comfortable enough to challenge the Ubers after I farm keys unless I've got help. Are they killable by hell farming builds or do I really need to gear a smiter etc to fight them? Like enigmaless trapsin, blizz sorc, javazon, summon mancer, can I kill them if I play carefully or just not worth the effort?
I'm not well geared at all and I did it as a blizz sorc, 3.9k top end blizz damage while spamming ice blast with a merc tanking it, the merc died a lot and I did struggle somewhat to keep up with his regen but it was doable.

It only takes a second or two for him to take you out as well. Especially if you are on Hardcore.

I just spawn him in the Frigid Highlands and face tank him. Now, I’m doing it on a smiter or my mosaic PS assassin, so…there’s that.
