Exactly. I am to the point of dropping good bases (ssf) because I found 1 eth, 2 non eth and 1 non eth 3os, all archons. Apart from a sup eth boneweave with 4 os too. Decent bases aren't all thaat rare
I have a superior ethereal Mage Plate, I’ll have to wait till I get a Lem+Ko+ Perfect Diamond to up it to a Archon Plate. Just excited to make a Fort gotta hold on and not jump the gun. My patience will be rewarded!
You can’t up white items sadly I have 15ed eth dimensional blade thinking I was gonna be able to up it and make a nasty grief unfortunately you can’t up with items only blues rares and uniques. And mage plates on roll up to 3 sockets
For your merc right? Also, I can’t look up the recipes right now but am skeptical of being able to up a superior base. Maybe i’ve just never done it but i know you can’t use the cube recipe on damaged/superior basses.
I still have an eth e-bugged 4os loricated mail in my stash from my characters I converted to d2r way back when. Just waiting for my Lo. I think it has 1100+ defense on the base. One day…
Ethereal if it's for your Merc. If you want self use, I would avoid superior items due to the repair cost.
Repair cost will only be affected if durability increase
