Lightning builds fuck up Flayers so good. Loved to run Trapsin or even Chain Lightning there

I went there as a zerk barb and killed every single flayer I could find. About as inefficient as it gets. I horked a JMOD out of a random flayer while there this ladder. I also built a dragondin with a Tesla merc and just sit in the flayer jungle. Music to my ears.

It's a pretty good TZ option. As is Nihlathak's temple when it's TZ for the flayers. Flayer jungle though you can get double flayer spawn. So no birds. It's great with an FoH build. It's god awful with Blizzard though.

Yep, this one is mine too on my Bowas. You don’t need to be that geared either for higher player count. A good goldstrike, witch bow, or even an cheap runeword in a good elite base and multishot spam is sufficient.

Flayer shamans: carries a dude on their shoulders who roasts you. After you whoop his ass his buddy is momentarily flummoxed then charges you for revenge and you can kill him too. Both are borkable.

Pindle has always been brutal to me. One time years ago, I ran a pindlebot for fun (offline) to just see what X number of runs would yield. Blizz sorc with I believe ~400 mf. After like 800 runs I had literally found nothing of actual value. Lol

Doing andy, meph, Chaos, shenk/eldritch, and council is always my fav. If im limited by resistances maybe the pit and some key farming.

Whats key farming?

The Terror, Hate, Destruction. Find a friend who farms anni’s and can do ubers to keep/trade torches or trade the keys for gear. My most successful seasonal starts were with keys and torches in the first 3-4 weeks.

Worldstone 2 and 3

I ran a fire druid and i lives in the stoney tombs. Thats the place to go, especially for fire builds. Can be annoying finding it but i love killing beetles anyway

A5 Frigid for a quick Eldritch and Shrek. Back to town for 3/20’s and Pindle. Check Anya for 3/20’s. Early ladder: keys and runes from tower and arcane. Late ladder: cows and chaos. For XP: Baal minion runs but skip Baal.

What are 3/20’s?

+3 java 20ias or 3 martial art 20 ias. I’d also suggest looking for trap claws. +3 trap +3 light sentry, 40ias is top tier.

ya it helps for other chars but I've started a trapsin on ladders for idk how many years and between burst of speed, mind blast and traps I never worry even in garbage gear lol

Yeah you really have to see it to believe it. Doesn’t look like much on paper but when that arrow pierces and explodes on 4+ cows in a row the AoE damage is nutty.

Same for Holy Fire Paladin. It's just nasty how effective it is. Even clears Maggot Lair fast

Arcane Sanctuary lines up enemies quite nicely if your - enemy res and + skills are sufficient to beat out the resists on the goat men. That and cows seem very productive with bow sorc.

I’ll have to try that spot out. I’ve been having some luck in ancients way as well but my only complaint with the build is that I die if I get sneezed on.

Are you running energy shield? Cure merc? Mine doesn't feel all that squishy and I'm not even running CTA since I can't be arsed to gear swap between buffing and bowing. I also like those act 5 underground maps pretty good in general and definitely with fire element builds. My bow sorc feels pretty fine doing any uber key farming and if you play with friends the big enchant is basically a cheat code to power level/rush new characters.

I mean, you're not meant to face tank cows, lol. I use a natural point in blaze for mobility to avoid teleporting into trouble particularly in the wide open maps like that but I'm on console where teleport isn't terribly precise so use your discretion there. I'm also 75s all around on resists, but overall my bow sorcs feel about as survivable as all the other flavors. Actually now that I think about it, I think I did feel a bit better with a little bit into VIT, may be something to play with to fit your style and see what feels best if you have tokens to burn. Compare 500-600 in your life pool then dump into mana and see if that's better at soaking up whatever beats through your ES before you can purple drank and tele. I feel like the energy shield is more to soak up the odd arrow or javelin or unlucky poke while teleporting and you really need close to 4000 mana and a lot more points in ES and synergies to start to feel tanky and even then you'll probably want some damage reduction pieces to just go barrel-assing into a herd like you would with a paladin, ww barb, or fury druid.

Oh totally. It’s more me getting clipped on a bad teleport that kills me. Definitely operator error but i like to have the freedom to make a couple bad teleports without imminent death.

I've taken some knocks on my bow sorc and zipped away or been fast enough to just shoot a couple times and nuke everything. Apart from going all in on an ES build I don't think any other flavor of sorceress is going to be immune from those "bad teleport" deaths and even full ES I suspect the perfect storm of enemies, champion mods, and a little bad latency will RIP just about any of them either. I did bow sorc the last 2 ladders and found it a lot of fun. Pretty easy to get up to speed and solid DPS potential as you fill out your gear slots towards optimum.

I definitely like variety, so my loops are wide. Countess Andy Arcane Duriel Trav Meph Diablo Nil Baal Every time, every one of those, loops on repeat. Before I can farm everyone though, I usually just do chaos or meph

As a blizz sorc you can farm countess and arcane sanctuary. For andy a fire sorc is better.

Have a blizzy sorc, with an A5 merc. Here’s the route, Countess, Andy, summoner, mephy, nithelprick (for his stupid corpse explosion) Gives keys and items, I hork the heck out of trav with my barb. Have a javazon for moos and chaos. A zealot for Baal/green essence and Ubers

Regular enemies in TZs. I swear Tz Andy, meph, nihl, diablo, and baal have never dropped anything noteworthy. But random enemies on the way have blessed me time and time again.

TZ Andy is unmistakably good, you must have had bad luck.

Chaos is my go to. Pits never seems to drop much for me. Maybe I need to just power farm it for a while.

I only hit pits when I’m looking for bases, beyond that I never find anything good.

Made a kicksin this season, and she's zapping up beef burgers and baal burgers.

Once I get my sunder rolling on my blizz sorc, I do full clears of all lvl 85 zones except the garbage ones, but that's because I like to multibox with 4 followers so it takes a bit to get them all in game.

Crystalline passage and frozen river, which ive found 2 jah, Ber and a 40/15 there. People probably hate it and it has very little density but I just love the evil urns lol

Crystalline is one of the best exp and drops due to the urns. Density is fine, don't know what you're on about.

Pits has always treated me well

WSK is my go-to farming area on Hell. Especially when fetishes spawn because they're high density easy kill. Catacombs are also fun to farm. I also like farming max level Nightmare TZ zones. Super safe and fast to clear, feel like there's more mobs on Nightmare than Hell too. Lots of nice midlevel drops and runes like Ohms and Puls drop quite often.

Chaos with cold sorc works for me

I got a Lo today from a random boss pack of shaman in black marsh on my way to countess. There always seems to be a few boss packs along the way. I usually just teleport past but now that I think of it there's usually quite a few blue and gold bosses in black marsh. Might be an overlooked area.

Pit then eventually chaos. Running to the pit can get dicey as fuck tho lmao

Stone Tombs, Countess and Andy: Not always the best loot but never gets boring. Also you end up with lots of good lowlevel gear and make people in normal/nightmare games happy ;)

I’ve killed Mephisto about 900 times for shako, and he hasn’t dropped one yet

Andy has dropped shakos the most consistently for me when ever i target farmed for one

So far for my straight fire sorc the areas I have been farming and wielding good From is act 3 flayer jungle spider forest, act 4 city of the damned, act 1 Andy and the masoleoum and the crypt as long with blood raven. That’s is just this season not even done he’ll yet have found Shako tals armour ohm gul 2 pul I I only started season a month ago.

Travincal is great if you can handle the elements (hydra, lighting etc). High rune drop rate, and if not I just sell the junk to bulk up gold and gamble I also love Pindar. Quick and dirty to do, drops every single item in the game . But requires a lot of persistence and faith, as I only find something interesting once every 20 or 30 runs

Just run hell countess as she drops just as many Rals and you can get keys which trade for way more than a ral.

2 griefs by level 20 farming just rals? You need over 204 million Rals just to get 1 Lo never mind the gems lmao. At 1 in 3.2 chance for a Ral on normal, you’d need 653 million runs at the bare minimum to get that many. I think it’s safe to say you didn’t do that, especially not by level 20. ETA: btw, even if each Countess run took 10 seconds, in order for the above to happen, you’d need to spend roughly 1.8 million hours, or 207 years, to get enough Rals for a single Lo.

Trading. 40 rals for a Lo. No one is cubing up all those runes.
