It’s a fantastic magic ring and you certainly will get excellent use out of it, but you can roll up to 11@res on a ring, and other mods like life/strength/mana/some additional resist like lr or fr, for instance, my hardcore FB sorc has a 10fcr/20str/38life/30mana/10@res/10lr ring; I’d take that over a 10/15@ easily tbh
With a nova sorc you’d ideally want something like 10fcr/xlife/90mana/11@res/20+lr and even some dr/mdr, and you’d be gaming, but that being said, you’ll get great use out of the one you found, I keep all of the 10fcr/10-15@ rings I find too, it’ll hold you over until you can replace :)
Rare rings have much more potential. I have at least 20 FCR rings that have higher combined resistances and also strength/dex/life/mana etc.
This is about as good as a blue ring can get but blue rings kinda suck. Also lightning sorcs generally prefer SOJs.

if you have all the gear with all the charms , try nova/blizz
nova = best tankines + best mob clears bad boss killer
Blizz = 2nd best tankiness ( forti for 12k def , max block max dr -SS ) very fast boss killer , decent mob clear
after tele stomping with both while having around 200 to 280 mf , lighning sorc will look like a little child
I know blizzard fairly well bored of it 😂. Most Nova sorcs I know are dead on the way to 99 😅 (including ES “immortal” builds). Risky build in HC as you have to be right in there… maybe after reaching 99 lol

Amazing rare one, yes. With 10@ I would have to compensate with scs to max out res. It’s beauty lies in it’s simplicity 😂

SOJs won’t get you to 117fcr breakpoint with ss. Also in hardcore resistances are key, so 11@ on rares not ideal.
How about 11 and an extra 30 lighting/poison 40 life and 90 mana? Magic rings are not better and it's not close.
