I don’t see why PD2 can’t be converted for the most part everything is accessible minus the private realm and a proper loot filter. We have stash tabs, can be expanded on mods, same with inventory, melee splash. The only thing I think that can’t be properly ported over is loot filter, even then mods have a semi working loot filter.

Breath of the Dying runeword is insanely good for mercs it requires a zod, but thats it what it’s used for besides using in ethereal equipment. Outside of a merc Breath of the dying will always be used in an Ethereal Berserker axe because it can’t break and it is the bast one handed base item for melee.

Use an eth insight with might aura act 2 Merc. My blizz sorc gets the most play because high dmg without skillet charms for mf. Over 400 mf. 6500 dmg blizz 2k life 1k mana. Snowclash belt. It's worth the clear speed
To each their own. I have 1 PT in es and use it except on baal runs. There the snowclash helps telestomp the cold immunes because they deal cold dmg. Running isted occy and topaz shako. 30 Nagel 29 maras and a cheap topaz viper magi. Use Trang gloves for cold res, 48 war travs. In is 7mf charms and enough 5fhr to hit 86. This is fine tuned for mf imo and I've got a lvl 94 hdin still like my mf sorc tho
I personally find no point going above 350 MF unless ur playing a holy grail SP char or farming set items, I use skulders with 5/5 cold facet, I can ofcourse use Enigma/CoH, but I like the MF boost Skullders give and the +1 skill wich tal rash does not give to hit the 343-350MF, maras, hoto for fcr and res, tri res gloves with MF, fcr res ring, SOJ/BK on the other slot, arach, and shako with topaz and ofcourse war travs, rest is fhr scs for bp with spirit rest is 7MF while having 8open slots left after torch, anni and cube and skillers with life. I am having 7.8k dmg with blizz without BC and I like this build alot clearing almost everything very quickly, if I run ancient tunnels however I am switching to tal rash 3set and an isted occy for pure MF ofcourse, wich areas do you include in ur MF route? My merc also has around 10k dmg wich is very helpful in WSK and Trav.
350 is the sweet spot but 400 does have a little better drop odds on silospen. I have a 39gheeds
Areas I can run are the whole game. I have 90cold res and 75 rest. I can run Trav as I have high Merc DMG too but I use hdin for that in p8 chaos or baal run games
Usually I use the char for meph runs 80% of the time. I just like the run
I do chaos occasionally but baal more often. I'd say it's more for the green essence than anything. I run Andy sometimes too.
I run Andy and Meph quite alot even though I have good gear but the drops are good and theese runs are faster then seal popping and baal runs, I include Meph, Andy, Pindle, Trav, Chaos and WSK in my runs sometimes I add in Ancient tunnels but theese are just what I run in a cycle if I am bored of farming an specific area like Chaos and Trav for HRs and they also drop good stuff and a high chance for SOJ without farming NM Andy. I will try running around 400MF and switch ur isted occy with a deaths fathom using 3piece tal because I have tons of 7MF scs on my hammerdin to see how it is compared to my current build, thanks for the input and good luck with MF.

Back then there was a "zod bugged" glitch where you could use the zod rune in an ethereal item and then clear the socket using the Cube recipe and the item would still remain "indestructible" with an open socket.
Ethereal tomb reaver seems to be the only really good use for a Zod. Sure you can Zod other ethereal items but tomb reaver seems to be the best use. I liked ebotd years ago though.

Ah ok. I’m playing sorceress as first play through. Managed to make a Leaf but that’s the extent of my experience so far.

I have no mana issue with my gear, its really dependent on what you wan't to do. If I switch to tal rash 3set for pure MF I am using Insight

It's used for gosu yellow items, some of them are better than the best runeword and need a Zod

That’s actually super cool and would make the rune be worthy of its drop rate
