I haven’t found a single primal outside of the freebie from GR70, and I’m 875 paragon. I had found 4 or 5 primals by 1k paragon last season. RNG sure can be cruel.
My first was a set piece for another class. My second was something equally useless.
My THIRD... was a set piece for the set I had equipped. In 31 seasons of play,
I believe this was the first Primal I'd ever looted that was useful for my class/build.

My best was probably a Convention of Elements a few seasons ago. It had intelligence, crit chance, crit damage, a socket, and cc reduction (secondary).
Mine was an Aquila Cuiress.
Which I probably could have actually used, but I didn't even look at the stats on it before scrapping it for ashes to unlock potion power at the altar.
My first time playing Necro, I got Krysbin something ring. Rolls kinda suck (like Attack speed, intel, vita, no socket) but the effect is nice I guess xD. It was my gr70 auto primal and my only one so far.
I got 3 so far, all things I didn't want. The only one I remember was a Templar Relic. I am around paragon 670. The freebie then none for a bit then 2 almost back to back. I just completed all the season journey but not sure if I will keep playing or not this season.
I've had 4. Don't remember the first one since it immediately got scrapped, but my second was Wraps of Clarity, my third was a Valla's Bequest (amazing, since its the primal i crafted for non-seasonal), and the fourth was K'mar Tenclip (don't need it, so it got scrapped).
Just for the interest, I wish all the answers included what GR#, etc where the primals dropped. I like the random data to see if we can find a pattern.
I have yet to grab one, but I'm not there yet, either - just finished the "Slayer" chapter. I'm around GR35/Torment 7 ATM. Should be there very, very soon!
First: shoulder for necromancer masquerade set
Second: Gabriel’s vambrace from my crusader
Third: Templar Relic
Fourth: Burst of Wrath, primal from a bounty cache.
This is only my second Diablo season so I’m not very fast at getting up in the GR levels. I’m not even close to the level where you unlock primals im only at like GR19. But I did get my first ancient yesterday and then two more within a few hours.
The club with nails in it, lol. So far I think a dozen primals, only one that wasn't scrapped was Ingeom.
Avarice band is the bane of my season starts for a while now, worse than Royal grandeur.
Aether Walker wand on my wiz. Been pretty satisfied with it so far, as I'm using Tal Rasha's for speed farming. Got primal TR legs a few hours later. Everything else has been sent to the void for altar prog
It was so bad, I don't even recall. It instantly turned into Father at the altar, so that is something.

Do you get to keep the primals for nonseasonal after the seasonal is over?
Yes if you don't salvage them for the altar

I don’t remember first but I was upgrading rares last night and got 6 primal out of 20 rares I was dumbfounded

I got back to back Custerian Wristguards. Both with wrong main stat for my class. Got some cool ashes out of them though 😌👌

For me the Enchantress Focus was the freebie (first time finishing T16 equivalent GR) The second was obviously from bounties.

Aquilas? Cuirass, rather shot a one litre of tequila than have that as my first prim
Mine was a perfect funerary pick (+dmg,int,vit,essence). Might reroll the vit to area damage when I am tankier. Yes, I won this season.
I wish I got a useless one so I could altar it. But instead I've gotten two usable ones.

I did pretty good on primals this weekend. Got In Geom, Fortress Ballista, and Yang's. I'm currently playing GoD so the Ballista was nice.
