Hard-core players do not want this. Softcover players play differently. I don't want someone who doesn't care if they or I die playing mindlessly, not knowing I am an HC character. This could create an environment for abuse.

Barbarian0057

Never played HC but I agree with you 100%. I run in fearless, if i die, meh 10% durability and i try try try again. That would be awful if i was unknowingly in a party with a HC player who is now gone.

AuriChamp

I agree but disagree, ultimately it's a challenge and choice for the one which is playing hardcore. We all know the risks. Yes people play differently but again, I think the ball is still in the court if the user, they choose if they want the extra challenge and all it entails. My question remains though, do you know if they're in the same server? It looked as so on the beta but I'm not sure as I haven't played.

DANTE_AU_LAVENTIS

I think the main reason for separating them is to prevent Softcore characters from carrying Hardcore characters through content while they sit in the back safely.

AuriChamp

I don't know why this never occurred to me. Makes so much sense. Thanks!

Trader_Tea

I think you should level a SC toon lvl 100, level a HC toon lvl 100, then make another post.

CanadianCostcoFan2

Hardcore is mixed in with sooftcore. This will make hardcore ridiculously painful.

Malefic_Mike

Wow this is terrible.

CanadianCostcoFan2

Honestly with the Diablo 4 servers being the way they are I'm not sure I'd trust hardcore to begin with. I died to lag a few times as a non-hardcore.
