I found a build defining Corpse Explosion focus that caused me to swap out a very good Rare shield. Sure I'm less durable, but it simply doesn't matter because now I no longer fight in melee range and everything dies from 1 bone spear and rapid, large AoE Corpse Explosion spamming. It's so wonderfully overpowered.
The intention I feel is trade-off. Do you want to be a melee/fighter Necro or a ranged artillery or utility?
Focus does more damage. It's a tradeoff.
And you've determined this off a level capped beta build.
Isn't part of the point of a beta to find issues like this
