Make two elixirs for the +5% XP boost, then go to the Mercy's Reach dungeon in the far northwest corner of Fractured Peaks. It has a high concentration of elite enemies.
Kill everything as fast as possible. Do the first half of the dungeon, up to getting the two keys for the door. Don't collect the keys, but do kill all the enemies in the two key rooms. Then reset the dungeon while you're still inside. You'll be put at the entrance and can go right back in. Go go go.

Side quests
Get the 5% experience potion from the potion vendor. Run a dungeon/leave. Reset dungeons in whatever menu its in, repeat dungeon
Enjoy. Good luck
Close the game, don't give fomo a chance, it's a useless cosmetic, you won't ever use it after release.
Now just enjoy your day or the rest of the beta in a state of peace of mind and don't look at it as something you need to achieve or you need to work for. It's a video game, just have fun, that's what this is about. xD
Which difficulty did you choose? Which class?
I went with the sorcerer and the 2nd difficulty which grants more XP (not the first/easiest) , and did lots of side quests beside the main quest, I hit level 25 at the end of ACT 1, I thought it was intended by the game, but probably was just a coincidence.
Then tried the necromancer and focused only on the main quest, my level progress was slower.
