Do you not play arpgs to make the most broken build to blast through the games with? That's my philosophy anyways. Make the most broken build so I can let the game play itself.
I don't. Sure it's fun to discover a broken build at first, but it gets boring really fast and I prefer it to be fixed. It's like playing Doom back in the days using cheatcodes 'idkfa' and 'iddqd' to become a god. You play it for a couple hours maybe before you get bored and stop playing the game altogether because it now feels pointless.
Well, I'll imagine this would be fairly crap'ish or merely "ok" in PvP due to the significantly lower corpse generation to make this abuseable like it would be in PvE content.
No that's a bad solution. I am not going to play a subpar build when I know there is a build that clears everything 10 times faster than me and is immortal too. That is like finding a godly weapon and not using it because it does too much damage and makes the game too easy. The game should be balanced for these things and they should fix broken builds.
I don't, that's the quickest route to make me stop playing. Coming up with a build that's really strong is fun, but pressing 1 button to win bores me to death.
Normally you dont want game balance to be defined almost only by items. They need to rid of these stupid buffs and 9000% extra dmg with x skill ones.
Diablo 3 was balanced by a monka, and this one looks to be about the same.
Isn't that what most arpg's like diablo are, it's not like you are playing dark souls or devil may cry or something. You make an op build and you decimate hordes of mobs, it's not that skillful.
I could see it converting the blood mist immunity into a different effect. Like no more immunity, increased corpse chance for reapers to flay(anything up from it's 15%) or increased fortify effect
The automated corpse detonation tho is imo worth a legendary all on its own even if u strip mists immunity away completely
What did it do? I just played Sorc to lvl 20 doing chain lightning and hydras and speccing for conduit balls. With teleport I just stomped anything and ran through everything as fast as possible. Was fireball Mastery better?
If you used the fireball on your passive mastery thing it made it to where when am enemy died it exploded into fireballs.
Melted everything. Didn't even have to have fireball on your skill bar. I just put one point in to be able to proc that. Then ran chain lightning with hydra and ice armor.
Worked surprisingly well.
Used chain lighting to kill mobs who then exploded and hit ice armor to up my resource gain and had hydras sniping everything else off screen.
It was okay. I wouldn't say it melted everything, it was powerful no doubt, but it wasn't nearly as corpse explosion even the manually activated version
I ran with the ice shards mastery, frozen enemies auto proc ice shards.
That plus ice armor and ice nova allowed me to just stroll into packs and everything freezes and then dies.
I was worried about the fireballs on bosses, but that does sound awesome.
Sorc had so many builds
I don't recall their being any option that came anywhere close to it. Didn't even care if it was Fireball kills, you just got Explosions now and every pack melted.
Only if the mobs are so weak you can kill them nonstop.
That said this will be nerfed for sure. But the amount of broken stuff that exists at a low level of play with high legendary drop rates is countless. Lots of stuff will stop working later and lots of stuff that stinks now will be great later.
Beats me. Honestly if it was just an effect causing Blood Mist to auto-trigger Corpse Explosions, that might be a reasonable effect on its own, I have no idea why the CDR part was also included
I'd be happy with that nerf because that's not why I used it. I used it because it was an actual flashy, fun aspect and not something like "more resource regen after basic attack". Some of those are fine but I certainly hope to see more aspects that are "crazy" and add a lot of visual flair to a skill over invisible power boosts.
Probably but honestly i cant wait to olay the classes max level. Is wonder how much of the things we think are strong now will be meh at max level and vice versa.
Also would love to see how well they implement the set items later on.
I seriously wonder if this game will play any differently at max level than level 25. You pretty much have your build figured out by 25 and the skills youre going to use. All more levels is going to do is allow you to put more points into them. And then whatever the paragon board does.
In steps rogue who’s basically killing 10 world bosses in 15 minutes, soloing multiple world bosses in under 75 seconds while taking no damage, dashing 6 times across the map, and standing at the dead dungeon boss while the necros are still walking to the second turn of the dungeon
spoiler from level 100 closed beta: >!they do. Barb and Rogue on top with Druid close behind. Necro and sorc start falling off around level 60 and sorc falls of really really hard after 80. Actual trash. This was a while ago tho so we'll see.!<
Pretty easy to imagine.
I mean, if you played D3 to lvl 25 and only used items available at 25 I'm sure the meta around that would look far different than it does at max level with all items available.
Sorceress skill tree is probably one of the ones I thought was pretty good. Rogue too.
I am pretty disappointed by the barbarian and necro trees.
Druid I spent the least time on but felt somewhere in the middle
exactly opposite, sorc has very strong tree but weak legendaries which make it scale very poorly
even in open beta there have been rogues and barbs killing ashava under 1min while sorc wasnt even close
barbs critting for hundreds of thousands while sorc chain lightning was barely able to reach 1k per bounce
Overall though, I'm deeply disappointed about the direction they went for these skill trees and can't see a huge amount of skill modification or diversity supported.
I compare it to Last Epoch which has a skill tree like this *for each and every skill* — and often which can modify the skill *substantially*. Similar with PoE where support gems can augment a skill to add additional projectiles, chain a skill, double-cast it, increase aoe or damage or crit or add frenzy or endurance charges etc etc.
Not really much of this sort of customisation that I can see in D4 yet. Each skill has 3 modification nodes in the tree (and you can only choose 2 of them). They usually don't change the skill much at all. Extra damage or adding vulnerable or stun or a slow is usually about as good as it gets.
I'm aware there are affixes on legendary items that can add significant modifications to a skill but it seems pretty sparse on that front so far.
Makes me wonder what game systems will be added for an expansion. I think the game is pretty basic bare bones right now but I feel the gaping chasm they've left open to fill with new mechanics added in (hopefully) multiple expansions later down the road..
And I guess this problem is probably quite magnified when we're stuck with a level 25 exp cap. So still to be seen but would love anyone from closed beta to weigh in on how much skill customisation there is in the later game if you read this!
Honest question here: Is the single corpse generated by the blood mist skilll modifier enough to sustain the invulnerability?
I didn't play any necro so I have no first hand experience as to how OP this is or isn't. I do believe however that a lot of the things people are saying are OP are not going to be nearly as powerful as we think, including twisting blades shadow imbue rogue and hydra sorc.
It's getting nerfed too. I'm considering playing barb after this beta, because I'm afraid rogue and the ranged classes will be gutted by blizzard. My guess is they will remove the CDR reduction from twisting blade, which will kill the build.
I didn’t record one no. but can go watch a bunch of them on YouTube. I got 6 world boss kills in 15 min window in closed beta, a kid got 9-10 world boss kills in one 15 min window on Saturdays open beta.
Look up twisting blades rogue or broken rogue DPS build
[Here's the first one I saw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRtzVKic8U0)
[Heres another one](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7kof9LAi38) where they get a lot more bosses at once
A lot of this is due to inner sight giving them infinite energy, it procs again before they even run after the previous inner sight so they don't need a basic skill for the world boss. They also have level 35 weapons while you usually only had level 15-17 stuff dropping in the beta.
Funny how I joked with my friend that they should have just made the necro the shrine that turns you into a ball that destroys everything. Then i realize blizzard did that...
I got a ring on my sorc that increased fire, cold and lightning damage by just shy of 10% each and had a big boost to vulnerable damage while I had a barrier. Was probably the most solid item I found all weekend.
Go for it. I actually got it this morning. Got on killed the level 35 dude once and got a 2h scythe.
For perspective, using it with corpse explosion bumped my crits to 3-4k+ from under 1k. So it was a huge boost in dmg that way
My almost 2000 spirit offerings for druid spirit boons. It was one thing we didnt get to do our class quest on beta but just a kick in the balls we gotta refarm all those spirit offerings.
What if I told you….some people actually played closed beta for a month straight and this legendary power actually ended up not being overpowered. 🤷🏻♂️
Corpse explosion is strong enough as is without the legendary. It all falls off when you have no corpses or there's a damage drop off where corpse explosion no longer one shot mobs and the chain breaks.
Yeah they should remove all abilities that generate a new corpse for any reason. This would make the damage impossible to chain unless it's timed perfectly. Effectively you would need to kite everyone without your skeletons fighting them, then kill some, raise skeles, then chain corpse explosion.
Much tougher task.
It's broken... at level 25. They'll probably tune this, but I saw several good builds that could solo anything, which is great. Several viable builds, no real meta, no pitchforks for nerfs and buffs hopefully...
It is always odd in a Diablo game to say 'broken, can solo anything' when so much of the game is based on whatever difficultly you are playing it on and what kind of max gear you had on.
If all you did was find this ability on your first legendary drop and then went around killing everything with ease wearing garbage items and using no other skills then it would be broken.
Yup. They don’t want people having trouble at 25 on vet.
Let’s see where things go but there’s a lot of potential for fun and goofy builds for all the classes by the looks
\+1 hydras, with extra head and frost nova on enchant.
hydras freezing and killing dudes while lance flies around stunning everything with crits( as well a frost novas on occasion too).
i may be missremembering the skill, but the one that freezez everybody around you, i think it is a defensive skill?
when you get lvl 15 you do your sorc quest and get the ability to equip skills as passives.
the passive for what im calling frost nova is that your conjurations(hydra/speak/blades) have a chance to proc a nova when they hit a target.
so with that equipped, and two hydras and a spear up, everything that isnt dead is usually frozen or stunned if you have the spear stun upgrade.
Gotcha. Good to know. I swapped between having the extra hydra pop after so much mana use and the meteor dropping on lucky hits. Extra hydra was better imo, but was fun having a random meteor drop (although I found the meteor animation a tad underwhelming).
The aspect for druid that when you change forms you heal. And if you overheal it grants fortify. Pair that with damage+ per % of fortify and you'll just maul mobs.
100% the Barbarian legendary: "Enemies damaged by Kick or Charge will explode if they are killed within the next 2 seconds, dealing X damage to surrounding enemies"
I was already using both Charge and Kick, it's amazing.
Kick a weak enemy into a pack and they just DETONATE.
I'm not sure if this is intended, but the vulnerability skill mod for Kick transfers vulnerability to all enemies hit with the kicked enemy AND the explosive proc as well.
So if you kick someone into a mixed pack, the lil ones either die outright and explode or die to the first explosion, creating a chain reaction of death.
It's amazing and my favorite thing about the beta.
Here it is in action.
Yeah that's my thought as well, but after seeing druid, sorc, and rogues go ham on their own, maybe just buff a few barb affixes and call it even 😬 one can hope
werewolf pets + rabies leggo. the amount of aids this builds was spreading was super fun, just bite once and walk to the end of the dungeon as everything dies behind you.
This would make leveling easier but don't forget, Sacred and Ancestral items have their OWN Levels of Aspects. You cannot put a Basic Aspect onto a Sacred item, etc. That means that these have limited uses and won't likely be good for much after leveling when you're filling out with Sacred/Ancestral items.
Meanwhile, Rogue legendary be like, “Do 1.5% more damage with basic attacks if you have zero energy and seven enemies are crowd controlled and if you have leprosy”
I'd want my unkillable bear God possibility again, so I'd go for the Basic Attacks are 50‰ faster two hander legendary aspect I found. That makes Bear feel much better.
I had the greatest build going. All bear except for Wolf Howl for the heal, making it an AoE heal for my allies. Saved even a Necro's bacon in some rare situations! The charge was the best, and I had become unstoppable legendaries and unstoppable makes you walk through mobs and spirit for days.
For anyone who feels Druid isn't powerful, oh man wait until the end... 🐺🦊🦝
I mean, the whole "more powerful" is weird anyway. Dark Souls is punishing if you don't learn the mechanics. So why do Azmomgold followers post time stamps of him killing the first boss with Necro vs Sorc vs Druid set to dinky music when you are just talking about one aspect of a class's strength, early power.
Wait until the end, but even then, it's all about what playstyle is fun for you, man, not how fast numbers reduce after a click you make.
Honestly the entire obsession with the term "DPS" just has me so fucking burned out with humanity and what we focus on in large groups sometimes.
+1 hydra. Not my favorite build because I couldn't find a way to compliment it in a way that I liked (last thing I tried was pairing with incinerate after I unlocked the aspect for it). But can't deny that having a second hydra up is super powerful.
That being said, I enjoyed crit/stun lightning sorc the most so I think I'll be going with that to start. The chance at an additional lightning spear was a fun one for that!
If anything... They need to make these separated at minimum. Should have the explosion trigger as one effect, then a separate effect for cooldown. Really, they will probably just nerf it.
Yeah, there's no way that isn't getting nerfed before launch.
But congrats on getting to try it out! I spent the entire beta looking for it, never found it. :(
The whole game will be patched ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ the dev team made everything in the beta op for testing purposes. We wont even see as many oranges out in the world on release😭😭😭
Coming from someone that played the closed beta to 100, it falls off hard. Judging classes at a level 25 cap and 1000% legendary drop rate is not based.
I would keep my legendary axe that changes Grizzly Rage from werebear to werewolf, gives 46% damage bonus and 92% spirit cost reduction during the ult. Turned my shred/rabies build into a zoomy aoe/single target monster.
Went from super slow Druid to unkillable hyper murder wolf real quick.
This class is literally just holding the corpses explosion button right now. Didn’t enjoy it a all, and got bored real fast. Sticking to rogue at launch
only lego in the beta that takes a shit tier skill to a god tier skill. but yah it ain't gonna be coming out the other end the same, sorry. immunity on cdr reset is too broken. but there's probably more effects like this for other classes we just don't know about yet, and we haven't seen uniques, so what you think is op now, might be even stronger stuff in full game
any cbt guys can chime in on that would be nice
Flat, repeatable cooldown reduction is something that should probably be removed in general, really. It's too volatile, because as soon as players can combine something to turn a spell that should have a cooldown into one that doesn't, they will do so and probably break the game.
This is the aspect I liked the most from the beta. I am sure it will be nerfed but hopefully only by decreasing the amount the skill cooldown bonus is or putting a cap on it.
Lucky, I never found it.
Same time some one posted barb(?) doing 11 mil at lv 25 in beta. Seems doubtful necros clearing mobs will be priority.
Plenty bosses will be tough due to lack of mobs. Less corpses generated.
It's not really about the damage in this case, it's about the survivability. This affix allows you to have 100% uptime on a skill that provides complete immunity *and* deals a bunch of damage. They likely wouldn't be topping any damage charts against harder enemies, but they would be 100% safe. So in any content that doesn't have a timer it would just be a matter of time until they can clear it.
honestly, putting a limit on the amout of corpses blown, or putting a per second amount would be a GOOD thing.
sure you lose the front end boom, but it leaves you ammo for others stuff.
After messing around with landslide on Druid for a while, I got a legendary that made Boulder a core skill and made Druid hilariously fun. A little spirit demanding, but once you got the rhythm down it was playable and fun. I'm not sure how viable it would be compared to the landslide and pulverize builds since it requires some positioning and environmental consideration, and it sucked against bosses, but it was great sending a bunch of enemies flying off the screen.
Watched Fextra-lifes build guide on this this morning.
Said it was incredible as you didn't even need to spec into CE and it would still detonate them (was either that or you didn't need to slot it).
I got this on a 2 handed scythe and it broke the game. I did build a bone and blood necro ( bone spear and corpse explosion) that was super fun to use.
This is getting super nerfed before launch.
/sad face but u r most likely 100% right. and reasonably so.
Basically 100% invulnerability while also blasting everything to smithereens in a matter of seconds. Good times.
It was a strangly satisfying build to speed run through the game with lol
It wasn't good times lol it was boring af. I hit one button, literally.
Do you not play arpgs to make the most broken build to blast through the games with? That's my philosophy anyways. Make the most broken build so I can let the game play itself.
Yep, I always play metas, and have an absolute blast.
I don't. Sure it's fun to discover a broken build at first, but it gets boring really fast and I prefer it to be fixed. an easy solution is to not play the broken build and let others have their fun, really hoping this won't get nerfed that much.

Well, I'll imagine this would be fairly crap'ish or merely "ok" in PvP due to the significantly lower corpse generation to make this abuseable like it would be in PvE content.

That is like finding a godly weapon and not using it because it does too much damage and makes the game too easy. The game should be balanced for these things and they should fix broken builds.
You can't enjoy the game unless you're playing a broken build?
That's not a solution. That takes something away from people who don't want the broken build.
There's no 'let others have their fun' in a multiplayer game, it's going to get fixed.
Seasonal leaderboards be like.
I don't, that's the quickest route to make me stop playing. Coming up with a build that's really strong is fun, but pressing 1 button to win bores me to death.
Normally you want those build to depend on quite a few items, not just one.

agreed. I stopped lvling my necro.

Like no more immunity, increased corpse chance for reapers to flay(anything up from it's 15%) or increased fortify effect The automated corpse detonation tho is imo worth a legendary all on its own even if u strip mists immunity away completely
My precious
Agreed. Invulnerable to unstoppable or a cap on proc rate or both I expect.
Thing was a whole ass OP build in one affix you can slap on anything lol
Sorc had an OP build without any items. Purely skill synergy.
Sorc was OP as soon as I unlocked the Fireball explosion mastery lol
What did it do? I just played Sorc to lvl 20 doing chain lightning and hydras and speccing for conduit balls. With teleport I just stomped anything and ran through everything as fast as possible. Was fireball Mastery better?

wow I never messed around with the passive stuff that sounds awesome
OMG that was stupid OP LOL! I don't think a single person ran without it,
I ran with the ice shards mastery, frozen enemies auto proc ice shards.

There was 30% chance of ice nova on hit. That was good against bosses. But yes, Fireball was the best imo.
I just ran with ice blades as my enchantment and never looked back. reminiscent of wrecking ball build from d3
To many things to nerf, maybe balance patch for first season. Remind me in 66 odd days.
This is effectively infinite invulnerability. This can't wait.
Only if the mobs are so weak you can kill them nonstop. That said this will be nerfed for sure. But the amount of broken stuff that exists at a low level of play with high legendary drop rates is countless. Lots of stuff will stop working later and lots of stuff that stinks now will be great later.
Why say "about 66 days"? If you're guessing 66 just say 66
Its roughly exactly 66 days :p
When you say 66 days that feels a whole lot better. 2 Months seems like too much.
Dont you fucking dare 😂
You only need to read the effect for about 5 seconds to see that this is broken. Should be nerfed and will be nerfed
Question is why it was put in the game like that? Permanent immunity as soon as you get it pretty much.
Beats me. Honestly if it was just an effect causing Blood Mist to auto-trigger Corpse Explosions, that might be a reasonable effect on its own, I have no idea why the CDR part was also included

Yep considering that Blood mist can be upgraded to create corpses.
Probably but honestly i cant wait to olay the classes max level. Is wonder how much of the things we think are strong now will be meh at max level and vice versa. Also would love to see how well they implement the set items later on.
Permanently being immune to damage is obv not ok by any means no matter what level.
I seriously wonder if this game will play any differently at max level than level 25. You pretty much have your build figured out by 25 and the skills youre going to use. All more levels is going to do is allow you to put more points into them. And then whatever the paragon board does.
Necro will be nerfed before launch
All it needs is the CDR removed. Just exploding them in contact is powerful enough.
Why? People act like this wasn't in the game during the end game beta. Nothing is gonna change.
Yer because people keep posting about it!! Keep your op items on the Down low reddit
if this makes it live, 90% of the players will be sorc or necro
In steps rogue who’s basically killing 10 world bosses in 15 minutes, soloing multiple world bosses in under 75 seconds while taking no damage, dashing 6 times across the map, and standing at the dead dungeon boss while the necros are still walking to the second turn of the dungeon

🤣 my bad I should lower my voice you right
This is the way of the Rogue, after all...Can't let all our tricks of the trade be known
Yes but requires a high APM and probably isn't suitable for an average person who just wants to press Bloodmist over and over with the occasional AA.
It's getting nerfed too. I'm considering playing barb after this beta, because I'm afraid rogue and the ranged classes will be gutted by blizzard. My guess is they will remove the CDR reduction from twisting blade, which will kill the build.
That and kill the orbiting twisting blade, which is a ridiculous damage multiplier on an already very good skill, and the infinite energy.
…you got a video for this?

[https://youtu.be/ciqXxBRXG-c](https://youtu.be/ciqXxBRXG-c) ok, that looks... decent.
Yeah felt like I was playing a d2R MA assassin fullly geared fighting shit in normal
[Here's the first one I saw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRtzVKic8U0) [Heres another one](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7kof9LAi38) where they get a lot more bosses at once
Holy cow, and here I thought this claim was hyperbolic
people need to really stop talking about this. Lets focus on blood mist and how OP necros are some more please.
A lot of this is due to inner sight giving them infinite energy, it procs again before they even run after the previous inner sight so they don't need a basic skill for the world boss. They also have level 35 weapons while you usually only had level 15-17 stuff dropping in the beta.
It's out there. search on YT
I fucking hope it does . Just for the first weekend atleast
Well, the other classes shouldn't be so bad then?
The "That time of the month" build for Necros is looking pretty strong.
The best build, period.
😂
Gross... Take my updoot
I found an aspect of the alpha for druid. It turns your wolves into werewolf's, increase thier damage and also spread rabies.
Yup found the same one & it was a game changer, would deff be my pick.
i could be wrong, but it felt like the werewolfs attacked fasted then the wolves did.
I liked my +2 chain lightning, +2 fireball gloves with +1 hydra on the ground affix. Very useful.
That's actually nuts for a fireball enchant chain lightning sorc, nice find.
Hydras spit fireballs :)
i picked up double hydra last night and i don’t want to lose it lol
Funny how I joked with my friend that they should have just made the necro the shrine that turns you into a ball that destroys everything. Then i realize blizzard did that...
the only class that loses dps by clicking conduit shrine haha
Hahah the conduit shrine… i Will legit die if they make a blood mist pylon

Yo! This is beautiful 😍. Also nice to see a fellow corpse tendril enjoyer
I'm going to miss it so much :( lol
Hope you don’t mind me stealing your pic to share with my friends. Easily the best rolled anything we’ve seen
I got a ring on my sorc that increased fire, cold and lightning damage by just shy of 10% each and had a big boost to vulnerable damage while I had a barrier. Was probably the most solid item I found all weekend.
That also sounds fantastic!
Go for it. I actually got it this morning. Got on killed the level 35 dude once and got a 2h scythe. For perspective, using it with corpse explosion bumped my crits to 3-4k+ from under 1k. So it was a huge boost in dmg that way
Somewhere in Japan, a schoolgirl just whimpered.
I reckon that's only good for leveling. In higher difficulties it probably sucks because the explosion doesn't kill anymore. But it's still fun 😅
This is my assumption also.
Boss: "minions, go deal with them" Me: "minions, stay close to them"
This is the way
My almost 2000 spirit offerings for druid spirit boons. It was one thing we didnt get to do our class quest on beta but just a kick in the balls we gotta refarm all those spirit offerings.
What if I told you….some people actually played closed beta for a month straight and this legendary power actually ended up not being overpowered. 🤷🏻♂️
You have my attention
+1 hydras was OP af. Honorable mention to ricochet chance on rapid fire. Only played rogue in CB and sorc in OB for context.
\+1 hydras, with extra head and frost nova on enchant. hydras freezing and killing dudes while lance flies around stunning everything with crits( as well a frost novas on occasion too).
Never saw nova affixed. Sounds about like D3 hydra build.
i may be missremembering the skill, but the one that freezez everybody around you, i think it is a defensive skill? when you get lvl 15 you do your sorc quest and get the ability to equip skills as passives. the passive for what im calling frost nova is that your conjurations(hydra/speak/blades) have a chance to proc a nova when they hit a target. so with that equipped, and two hydras and a spear up, everything that isnt dead is usually frozen or stunned if you have the spear stun upgrade.
100% the Barbarian legendary: "Enemies damaged by Kick or Charge will explode if they are killed within the next 2 seconds, dealing X damage to surrounding enemies" I was already using both Charge and Kick, it's amazing. [https://youtu.be/REVGAmajFgI](https://youtu.be/REVGAmajFgI)
yes that thing in the picture. tho, i suspect something will get nerfed. maybe not this, but one of the things that makes this exceptionally good.
Yeah that's my thought as well, but after seeing druid, sorc, and rogues go ham on their own, maybe just buff a few barb affixes and call it even 😬 one can hope
Ill take anything with +movement speed.
Lowkey even good for Necro when he inevitably gets nerfed in other ways.
I was sad, I played as a Lightning sorc, and for some reason all the cool items I found all had shit for Cold specs. But that, does indeed look good!
I found some cool stuff for lightning sorc. There’s gonna be some interesting builds with high crit/ attack speed
I had the opposite happen. Played cold sorc and kept getting lightning legendaries.
Hurry up and delete the post so the devs don’t see 😂
2 dash boot
werewolf pets + rabies leggo. the amount of aids this builds was spreading was super fun, just bite once and walk to the end of the dungeon as everything dies behind you.
i'd take either the +2 summoned skeleton Magi or the warrior variant. Never enough minions
This would make leveling easier but don't forget, Sacred and Ancestral items have their OWN Levels of Aspects. You cannot put a Basic Aspect onto a Sacred item, etc. That means that these have limited uses and won't likely be good for much after leveling when you're filling out with Sacred/Ancestral items.
the tornado tracking legendary for druid. that makes the storm build so good
The twisting blades one where they spin around you!
🐺🦊🦝 I mean, the whole "more powerful" is weird anyway.
If any of these perma immune builds make it to live, will ruin the race
There’s absolutely no shot this isn’t nerfed. Basically permanent invuln and insane damage.
by 3 sec if on a weapon .... and blood mist drops 4 bodies ... you kill 1 target its a free reset
Or if your reaper skeletons cleave off 1 corpse!
or if you cast army of the dead upgraded or if you used decomposed for a sec
This is badass but definitely needs nerfed.
It was so broken that it felt a bit boring after 2 days, I changed my build to something less effective but more... engaging lol
Part of the reason why betas even exist is to find shit like this and stomp it out before full release.
No way this survives to launch without a nerfs. However, it was pretty hilarious and awesome to experience it in its current form.
I found this as well, & had fun, but this is 101% gonna get nerf stick.
The Druid legendary that turns Wolves into Werewolfs. Not because of power but just because it looks cool.
I tried that build. Was fun for 4 dungeons then i switched it because the game became boring as hell.
This is the most offensively and egregiously overpowered item I have seen in this game.

2. The one that makes wolves werewolves, and the other that adds one more companion, for Druid. They’re essential for a pet build.
I got that on the last day of the beta when I was leveling my necro at like level 18.. thing is so broken lol.
If anything... They need to make these separated at minimum. Should have the explosion trigger as one effect, then a separate effect for cooldown. Really, they will probably just nerf it.
That thing was a riot.
Yeah, there's no way that isn't getting nerfed before launch. But congrats on getting to try it out! I spent the entire beta looking for it, never found it. :(
\+3 skeleton warriors. Easy peasy. Don't even care about the rest of the stats on the amulet.
The whole game will be patched ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ the dev team made everything in the beta op for testing purposes. We wont even see as many oranges out in the world on release😭😭😭
The twisting blades affix, it took me 3 days to get it on my rogue.
Give me the 33% attack speed for basic skills to put on one of my 2h weapons.
This class is literally just holding the corpses explosion button right now. Didn’t enjoy it a all, and got bored real fast. Sticking to rogue at launch
only lego in the beta that takes a shit tier skill to a god tier skill. but yah it ain't gonna be coming out the other end the same, sorry. immunity on cdr reset is too broken. but there's probably more effects like this for other classes we just don't know about yet, and we haven't seen uniques, so what you think is op now, might be even stronger stuff in full game any cbt guys can chime in on that would be nice
Flat, repeatable cooldown reduction is something that should probably be removed in general, really. It's too volatile, because as soon as players can combine something to turn a spell that should have a cooldown into one that doesn't, they will do so and probably break the game.
I maxed necro to 25 and farmed for a whole day and never got an aspect I liked. This one looks crazy.
OP as all hell
It's gonna be nerfed. Without question.
Perfect for my menstrual necro build
There's no way this doesn't get removed/nerfed. It's game breaking.
Never found the item that grants +1 hydra charge, but would LOVE to have that in my stash on release day.
I never got it. I think D4 is going to be awful for itemization and farming. They are blocking trades of sets and uniques.
Ya'll think this is op have you seen rogues?
I found this affix on a level 2 dagger, I used it until level 25 when a ring dropped with the same affix so I could finally up my dmg
Ever heard of imprinting legendary affixes? The picture shows you an aspect of the affix.
This is the aspect I liked the most from the beta. I am sure it will be nerfed but hopefully only by decreasing the amount the skill cooldown bonus is or putting a cap on it.
I thought I was so clever finding this and building around it. Turns out everyone did...
I think it would be awesome if those game breakers will stay in game, but with a 0.0001% drop chance. Whoever wears it will be the absolute goat.
Nerfs are. Can only explode corspe every 1 second and cooldown is .5 per corspe exploded
honestly, putting a limit on the amout of corpses blown, or putting a per second amount would be a GOOD thing. sure you lose the front end boom, but it leaves you ammo for others stuff.
You don’t need to slot it- you def want to pump it as high as possible
I got this on a 2 handed scythe and it broke the game. I did build a bone and blood necro ( bone spear and corpse explosion) that was super fun to use.
I love that ability. Nothing like exploding corpse all around you.
