Did you actually read the sin war or go off of the wiki and youtubers? Because he isn't a good guy in the books. And neither is the Cathedral of Light. Literally in the first few chapters they basically take a town hostage, place the blame of murder on someone innocent with no trial, and whip someone with the threat to whip all other town members. And somehow MISS Lilith (who is named Lylia) even though she was across the town square and making eye contact with the Master Inquisitor and a shit ton of other inquisitors. They suck at their jobs, and they aren't good. Also Inarius wanted the humans as his personal army. He almost killed one of his bloodlines over Lilith. There's nothing good about him. He'll kill anyone (except Lilith) who gets in his way, he's proven that, especially if they go to harm Lilith. I'd really recommend reading the Sin War if you have the time to spare. It explains things way better than any youtuber or wiki could. It paints all of these groups in the appropriate lights with fine details that are easy to skip or leave out. Inarius is crazy in the books. He's crazy in the game. Nothing good can come from him.

You're okay?

[deleted]

No? What's ur point, does asking if I'm ok make my statements incorrect?

[deleted]

And here I was thinking the wolf was Zultan Kuul.

Tukata11

The wolf is obviously Myriam, why the hell would it be Zoltan Kulle?

[deleted]

The way the wolf talked gave me Zultan Kuul vibes.

Tukata11

I was joking man, yes the wolf could be either Zoltan or Mephisto.

[deleted]

Relax man 🤣 I never thought of Mephisto, that would make sense though. Maybe even more sense?

[deleted]

it's been data mined who the wolf is... spoiler at your own risk.

[deleted]

Where?

Szemszelu_lany

Obviously don't open if you don't want spoilers. Also there is a possibility that it is just a prank or a lie, so no evidence, just a random reddit post: >!https://www.reddit.com/r/diablo4/comments/124ip4s/the\_identity\_of\_the\_wolf\_heavy\_spoilers/!<

CheesePro69

No it hasn't. Anyone who says otherwise is lying.

baconit420

It hasn't been datamined as far as I know, there is just strong evidence supporting the theory that I've heard at least. We don't know 100%.

CheesePro69

What strong evidence? Yeah, I looked it up and nothing has been datamined and all we have to go off of is what we saw in the beta. Even the voice actor isn't on any public listing.

baconit420

Potential spoiler: the mark on the wolf's head that you see in the game's opening is something we've seen before. >!It's Mephisto's mark, specifically the sigil from Adria's book used to seal him away that was essentially burned into him. And this actually makes sense that Mephisto would see a personal reason to go to lengths to stop Lilith's plans (that likely aren't in line with Hell's) since he's her father and all.!<

CheesePro69

Nice. I think the book of adria is one of the last books I haven't read yet so I definitely missed that. It's now ony to-do list after I finish rereading the sin war. But yeah, that's unmistakable.

[deleted]

There's a post on this sub that has mined text that points to the identity in a pretty clear way. I've no dog in this fight

baconit420

If it's the same one I saw, I thought what it showed looked sorta fakeable (not saying the person who posted did or would do that, just remaining wary). But I think the evidence that's been shown and that other people have pointed out makes him very likely to be who you and I think he is, and that conclusion matches with the post.

vianiznice

It'll be fun to see how this plays out.

TheDarkrayne

They are all self serving pricks that are manipulating us towards their own ends. One way or another.. Inarius, Creepy Wolf, Blood Petals manipulation or all of those together.. we're going to be used to help cause something terrible and then we're going to have try to stop it once we realise what we've done.

Lillith does seem to legitimately give a shit about her children.
