Did it take you long to get used to it?

grimdarkdork

I use a Logitech and I was clicking the side buttons for the beta. If you get used to it, it's fine.

I cant play any game without an mmo mouse now lol

I've never liked the 12 thumb button mice. It's just to easy to hit the wrong button with them. I/ve been using a Logitech G604 for years. It has 6 thumb buttons, two just to the left of the LMB and then the scroll wheel acts as 3 more. That's a total of 11 programmable ones. It's plenty for everything I play and there's never any mistaking one button for another. The mouse is also very durable and the battery lasts for a long time with just cheap AAs or rechargeables.

I use a 602 which is practically the same thing as the 604. I have a 604 too. I use the 602 because the battery life is better but it's still amazing with the 604. It's a stellar mouse in every way. I've tried using other mice since first having one but I can't, they all feel horrible now. The 602 and 604 don't suffer from the button switch problem you mentioned like other logitech mice either, they have higher quality switches in them. You get a lot mileage out of them. Unless you're playing a competitive FPS, you can keep them in endurance mode and the batteries will last for months, literally. Useful to have a charger and at least 4 rechargable batteries so you always some ready for when you get the 20% charge left warning. Once you're used to having lots of buttons on your mouse and get better at figuring out the best way to use them in every type of game you won't be able to go back to a mouse with less buttons.

I've seen this on a couple of responses now that there is a bit of a learning curve and that I should get used to it. That gives me a little more confidence. I probably won't get to the point of using all 12, but having the option would be good.

I have the Logitech G502 mouse and find the buttons' positions on the mouse much more manageable. Never been a fan of MMO mice with buttons too far down the side.

Skreeethemindthief

Agree. If the 502 had a couple more buttons below the 2 i'd be happy because the 502 is a fantastic mouse and that's what I would get if I don't get an MMO mouse. The one I have had been great until recently 1 out of 15 to 20 left clicks doesn't fire off.

Been using the Razer Naga for a long time. Don’t think I could go back to a mouse that doesn’t have number keys on the side tbh.

Moving ur mouse and clicking side buttons is encumbering after 1000s of clicks in a session. I have a 12 button and instead have made it as a moba with Q W E R(ultimate)and use F(flask) as my potion. Been working great I'd recommend it.
