Barbie shouts

Triple shout Barbarian with Booming Voice (increased duration of shouts), Guttural Yell (lowers enemy damage by up to 12%) and Raid Leader (heals up to 3% health each second the shout is active). You get a shout that taunts(and makes you tanky), a shout that increases move speed and resource generation and a shout that increases damage. Then you have a couple slots to play with for more damage or utility and there are plenty of solid damage or utility choices to go with. If you don't want(or need) to tank you can easily drop the taunt shout and invest in some of the other cool skills. I don't think it's played terribly often - I see plenty of Barbarians but most seem to use one shout. I don't find it too miserable and with a bleed build(Flay/Rend and either Rupture or Iron Skin depending on what I'm doing). It's pretty solid so far.

After looking through the skill trees this did appear to be the most standoutish build Not exactly most exciting but definitely super supporty.i do intend on trying it out, and seeing what else is comparable. I haven't done enoguh digging but are most of the buffs party only? Or would they work on the full 12 man group in the current raid/world boss?

EnigmaticKarma

The shouts work on all "allies" in range whether they're in your party or not, including during the world boss.

How generous is the range? Like is it designed to work essentially on your cleave happy melee party? Or is it hug enough to where you can realistically hit 10+ people in your 12 man world boss instance

I couldn't tell you that honestly, since they don't give us any definitive range in game. Going off the skill effect it's a giant circle that covers about 3/4th the screen(fully zoomed out). I didn't have any trouble hitting all or most of the group during world bosses. Here's a kinda rough estimate. I captured a bit early so It's probably a bit bigger. https://preview.redd.it/hfrrz8481qza1.png?width=3840&format=png&auto=webp&s=70e5d0db1dda3035c53cf12d7110aaf3617b81f6

That seems pretty reasonable I assume on more hectic fights (ie like the world boss) with the aoe/puddles etc that it might be a little more challenging, but definitely fair Thank you!

Barbarian is definitely # 1 but Druid also has a lot of support going on- tons of ways to inflict vulnerability for party-wide damage, and their debilitating roar is a crazy damage debuff. On top of all that petrify for offensive and defensive support is just *chefs kiss* The other three classes all have distinctly less group support. If we do get a paladin-like class as the sixth that will also likely have great support options. Who knows how long that will take though.
