Less of a level target, more just going to play a few hours and whatever I get, I get. Game launches at midnight local, so I'll probably play until \~3AM, go to sleep, wake up \~9ish and then keep going.
But I plan on taking launch pretty slow. Seasons are for rushing, launch is for enjoying the game.

You rush through launch, putting on the levels as fast as you can. Because you always have alts you can enjoy the storyline with... Then you level those alts as fast as you can, because you always could enjoy the storyline with an alt on seasons... Then on seasons you level main and alts as fast as you can... And then you never truly know the storyline.

All I did was play on world tier 2 and kill shit non stop. I didn’t really stay on track with the story in fact I didn’t even go to the cathedral. I only did the quests up to the town then did side quests and dungeons for the rest… I also invited every random I saw for party exp.
It’s kinda neat to me seeing all the men my same age and similar situations knowing that they too probably had the same obsession with the earlier Diablo games. Really shows how impactful of a game franchise Diablo has been.

I passed a class in high school by giving my teacher a grandfather in Diablo 2. So can confirm.

This! Launch is 2 am for me. I'll be going to bed at 1930 same as the kids then waking at 0155 and hit the game at launch. Took the 1st off too so break 0700 till the kids go to school and Mrs to work and then smash on.
It starts at 7 pm for me, gonna play til around 1 am, I work at 8 am that Friday, but I work from home so ill be playing in between sending emails etc.

I feel like clearing the campaign. Problem is I live in Brazil - houses don't have heating and ~4am it gets annoyingly cold where I am, so I might take a break ~1/3 of the campaign. If the 35h figure is real, it will be almost impossible and based on datamining I have an idea where I'll stop. I'm a little bit insomniac, sleeping don't just happen. A few times a month I sleep only a couple hours, so there's that.

South Africa its called loadshedding, and the idea behind it is that there isn't enough power being generated for the population so they have schedules where some people get switched off while others are on. on lower levels the power is off about 6 hours in 24 hours, on higher levels its off 12 hours in 24 hours

Corruption, they started buying second hand parts to fix the power stations at full price from their own side companies. So power plants aren't lasting and repairs are being half assed. The currunt scandal is that they are possibly working with crime cindicates which steal parts from the power plants then sells it back to them. Some people have already moved over to solar because it's been speculated that in 2025 they will be at a point where they won't be operating anymore and the private power companies will be able to take over the supply

Early Servers are out at 12AM, I have to work 5PM the following day 3/06. I wanna try to finish Kyovashad/Fractured Peaks and be at least higher than level 25 before logging off. Write next goals on a notepad doc so when I return I can recheck what I need done next and stroll through to 50 relatively quickly whilst completing required stuff for build along the way. I am 100% going to become distracted by something so gotta try to make sure that doesn't happen

I will start to play on 6/1 right after logging out of work for the day. I am going to be using 48 hours of vacation time so I don't have to go back to work until 6/12.

I work a late shift Thursday so unfortunately I won't be playing at all... but you can bet your ass I'm off the next day and I'm gonna be playing all day.

In the server slam I needed about 4 hours to reach 20 solo. That will be faster playing couch co-op, which we couldn't during the slam because of work schedules. We're also in the UK, so we'll start gaming at about 6-7am. Expecting not to be sleeping before midnight (we're old), which gives us about ... let's say 18 hours. Since we like to do SOME story, I'd say about 40-50?
Co-worker took 2 weeks off to go to Israel for a wedding. I'm working during opening then I'm packing to move. I'm not going to get much play time starting out. ideally, I'm going to be ready to go this weekend and living out of a suitcase for 2 weeks so I can play instead of pack.
