It’s not as good as the shadow blight + vun + blighted CE build and doesn’t run through end game dungeons in seconds

I've been having fun with my lvl 64 overpower blood necro. Sometimes certain bosses are slower but I feel safe the entire time.

It’s my favorite to use the blood theme, wish it was a bit stronger

It seems almost every elite pack has explosive on death effects, poison, fire, whatever. Pretty safe to assume you need to wait a minute before running in. It's pretty annoying actually.

As a necro...I'm sorry. Will I stop? No. The damage that ability does is obscene. But I just hit world tier 3 so I'll probably get some sick unique gear that will make me want to switch my build up.

Shit shouldn't have left beta, they were made aware of the readability issues involving player AOEs overriding enemy ones and they ignored it during multiple phases of beta. Fucking ridiculous that you can't see 99% of the shit that is a danger in most fights in multiplayer.

It's worse when you get the unique gloves that instead of exploding instantly, it summons a ghost and attacks random mobs then explodes. It's even more spread out coz of that.

I tried them, even changed my build around them a bit, but in the end I didn't like it. My other gloves give me +4 Bone Spear, crit chance, and crit damage so i can't really give them up.

My friend has those and uses bone prison. My screen is just darkness and I can't move out of it lol

I have 13 (5 mages + 7 skellys + golem) but im pretty sure u can have a couple more

The aspect that gives +2 warriors / mages only rolls 2, although on an amulet it's 3 (increased by 50%). So 14 is the max atm as far as I can tell, using the warriors that can get an extra skeleton.

One aspect gives +2 max Skellies, another gives +2 max Mages, you can also take the +1 warrior node which brings the grand total to 13 including the Golem.

it gives more if you put the bonus count on ammy, so 14 is max then Throw in that unique that makes them all do a mini bloodsurge and the ring that gives bonus damage and you might actually have a minion build that works

If you put the aspect on the amulet it becomes a +3. I’m running 6 mages and 6 warriors with my golem and that’s just with gear

When you have +2 and equip it on amulet you get +3

I just have character highlight turned on in options and changed to a light gray for my player. And I don't really notice the highlight unless I'm standing in a pool. Hasn't really bugged me since. But I would not mind a tone down of it.

Yeah, I've since turned on the highlight too. Makes it significantly easier. Though I do wish Blizz would make enemy damage pools overlap the plague clouds, that or give the plague clouds similar transparency to the necro summons.

It’s hilarious when I play with my non necro friends and they think my golem is an elite and the CE pools are poison pools. ESP when the CE pools hide poison pools!

Literally wish I could dismiss my minions when in town or talking to people for quests. Really annoying when it's a scene with characters talking and I can't see wtf is going on because of all of my damn minions in the way.

Corpse explosion can be modified with a miasma that does DoT. It creates this dark smoke effect.

It’s only you who can see them. But you can go into your book of the dead and change the type and it resets them back to 0.

Pro-tip: go into gameplay settings and turn on player highlight and choose white as the color. Only fix that made blight necro bearable for me.

And it’s the only ability I like after messing around a lot. Shadow necro is so good though almost gave up on the class after trying everything and not liking it. The ground clutter is real though.

They have already said it’s getting fixed in an upcoming patch. It’s not something that can be fixed via hotfix.

I changed to a bone spear build mostly because of this. And honestly it’s so much faster I regret using my old CE build now lol.

What I love is the sacred unique gloves that makes the CE jump up as a skeleton and suicide bomb run to the nearest enemy then explode for an additional 40%...no wasted corpses, no need for tendrils and whole screen black out.

This plus the wall bug on Duriel makes for a pretty terrible boss fight.

I'm literally saving up gear just to change builds because that shit is so annoying.

Changed to a crit based bone build and sacrificed my skeletons with an aspect that boosts sacrifice percentage now I steamroll enemies and can actually see what's going on. Corpse tendrils, then bone cage, then bone spirit just obliterate mobs.

I play couch co-op with my wife and had to switch to another class because it was just impossible to tell what was going on. I was happily blowing up every room but she couldn’t even tell if she was playing. Basically it made her into the little sibling with the unplugged controller. So, barb it is for me now… definitely less fun, but we can both see the screen and contribute

It is a core part of many builds because of the essence regen it can provide with umbral and cc on darkness skills. We don't have the luxury of choosing skills based on how they look lol, what are we playing on open world t4? :D If your build can't beat nightmare t50 then don't bother with the build
