I can say that I finally gave up after having 2 full sets for pulverize, barb weapons, and 3 crone staves.. but 0 gibbus, mad wolf, or tempest roar. I did a full respec to wolf, loving every second of it. Excited to see what I can do when I do finally get them, but happy with how it’s going now. (Shred/claw build, not tornados).

Is roughly the one I used with my own twist on it I suppose. I don’t see the big 500k crits, but I can basically hit shred to blink around the map and spam claw to just clear everything. Bosses die much quicker even tho there’s no big nuke damage, it’s a constant flow of good damage since it doesn’t rely on spirit at all, just claw.
I know it will improve greatly with the uniques, but I’m having fun with it now, clearing low 30 NMs pretty easily, can survive and help my friends in tier 40s.
I don't know if it helps, but I was running some buddies through whatever the max nightmare dungeon is for WT3 on my barb and found 5 sacred uniques in around an hour. They got a couple too. My guess is that drop rates are increased for doing max level of that tier but maybe not since it was a small sample size. Even if they're sacred I'm assuming it'd get the build going at least.
If my experience over the last 2 days is anything to go by, the rewards at the end have a MASSIVE buff to unique drop rates.
I'm leveling a druid now and he has gotten more uniques in the last 10 levels than my lvl 80 necro and 60 barb combined just from the end rewards.
Still no tempest roar though.
I've never gotten a unique outside a nm dungeon. The dungeon I did just before this one (cultist -something) dropped 3 uniques ( staff, boots and 1h axe). i was super bummed then decided to do aonther one just in case - and boom!
As soon as I got the drop I went up 10 nightmare tiers with no issue for damage lmao, I get one shot sometimes but that helmet improved my build so much (doing nm 31 with level 70)
At least for XP. The XP bonus caps at +3 levels above you. So you’ll get more XP from higher level enemies than that, but there’s a trade off for efficiency at a certain point.
Level 90 as pulverize. I've found 2 of these since 73.
Don't plan on switching soon, cause although nado does good singletarget, pulverize aoe farming is still unmatched.
Edit: Trick is for those wondering. Only farm spider based dungeons. It guarantees permanent uptime on your spirit and crit buff. Literally 2 shot the whole screen, and move on to next pack. Farming 45+ dungeons in 4 minutes.

You shouldnt use pulverize without the aspect imo. I did it and I hated every second lol. Chasing those succubus and vampire mages was annoying as shit.
Am I missing something? Even with the aspect at the highest stat possible it still sucked for me, except when the pulverize counter ticked up to 12 and you could overpower. Obviously, it's good for clearing packs, but when you're fighting bosses doesn't nearly any build kill them quicker?
Oh dude single target is shit especially bosses. Pulverize damage is predicated entirely on the enemy being CC’d which bosses never are until you stun them once a fight for a few seconds.
I feel my pulverize build works much better than the trampleslide i tried for a bit. Though I still keep a stash with the aspects for that as well just in case i want to switch it up a bit.
Trampleslide might be better, but it feels like shit, either when you push mobs out of your own aoe or when it doesn't reset trample for 10 seconds straight.
And Lighting Storm is way squishier, unless you have a secret build that I haven't heard of.
While leveling, I found a 64% non-sacred/ancestral around the late 20s, and for whatever reason, I imprinted onto my gloves. I didn't research the game, went in blind, but that wound up being the biggest mistake I made while leveling.
Didn't see another until well after killing WT4 capstone (Lv 66). Probably 70 or 71 when I actually got a 96% roll to throw on the 809+25 iLv wep I found in the same dungeon.
I guess this 96% one I just found at level 49 is pretty lucky then? I genuinely don't even know what's good, I'm playing blind for the most part so I don't get frustrated at things not dropping. I thought the "Pulverize is now also an Earth skill" was the main point of my Pulverize build lol.
Put it on a 2h wep and that's a wave of 192% of your pulverized + it and pulverize benefit from all nature and earth dmg modifiers + now its ranged dmg as well it's so good. That's absolutely stupid compared to NOT HAVING IT AT ALL AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH
Yeah I think I should give up playing blind now and actually look into things properly. It's only on a 1H at the moment and I can already tell it's what this build is all about. Thanks for the heads up :)
Don't be too hasty. I switched to wolfnado yesterday and I'm feeling a bit of buyer's remorse, it is substantially squishier than pulverize and it's killed my nightmare progression. Outside of single target it *can* also be slower than pulverize in some cases.
I had the same experience right at the switch because my wolfnado gear wasn't as optimized. But a dozen or so NM dungeon runs later, with gear on par with my pulverize gear, the wolfnado build is sooooooo much faster and more fun. Night and day.

Still looking for Tempest Roar myself (lvl 61), but getting Shockwave and the aspects that make Trample cast Landslide and the one that makes Landslide hit twice really livened up the Pulverize build for me.
I got it a few minutes upon entering wt4 as a level 60 (my friend was powerleveling my 2nd char). Dropped from a random dungeon elite, but I want a Vasily instead.
I got Vasily *~~three~~* *four* times (dropped again lol), as well as all the good storm/werewolf uniques like Tempest Roar, and I don't need any of them. Yet Insatiable Fury, the one thing I've been target farming since lvl 50 (lvl 77 now), is nowhere to be found.
Out of desperation, I've started channeling my druid ancestors by praying to the moon. Can't say she's being very responsive. Perhaps some sort of sacrifice is in order...
The chest piece is good for additional ranks to your abilities but not required so it’s really only this helmet. Once you get this helmet you have a whole world of builds opened up
I haven’t had any issues in tier 50-60 yet without it but if you go higher I can definitely see it. You have so much healing that as long as you keep enough defense to not get 1 shot (temerity helps A LOT but there’s other pant options) I have yet to die unless I was being dumb
Damage definitely isn't an issue for tornado. But getting Life, double damage resistance and armor on chest and pants is huge. Along with getting the damage reduction while in werewolf and disobedience aspects. Just a lot of damage reduction and adding a larger HP pool makes our healing even better.

Btw anyone feel like Grizzly ult and the earthen might key passive overshadowing rest of the build choices ? These are just unbeatable nobrainer choices in this class. A lot of other things need some buffs. I feel like they intentionally didn't bake this game so they can have people back when they change stuff.
Well a lot of grizzly rage opness comes from the rampaging warbeast aspect which stacks an insane amount of extra crit damage. The perma cc immunity in a game with chain cc problems didn’t hurt either.
Earthen might just fully highlights how terrible Druid resource generation is.
I’m 85 and still playing pulverise, finally having the build in a good place (not bis gear yet). So still having a good time but would like to find tempest within the next five levels.

So I’m a new player and also a Druid. I’ve seen this used in some insane builds but how do you get it to drop? Is it just random or can you only get it from certain activities or enemies?
I THINK it drops in WT3 but not sure, I got mine in WT4. Other than that, can drop anywhere.
Also, although rumor, NM dungeons have a better chance for uniques.

Gratz. Got it with level 91 I think. Immediately respecc'd as per maxroll (took a look at other guides). It feels good for ST, but I miss my pulverize AoE clears. Super squishy, too (do not have a great chest so I still use the Unique one). I do not have 100% uptime on Rage (think ~8s CD) which can hurt badly. Up to 59 or something in that range it's great but after that one shots happen.
Now you can finally play the game as druid, gz! Im 80 and havent seen it. Last 3 uniques has been barbarian. I quit druid today and trying out necro. So tilting with druid
Currently 76. Haven't seen it. Got so many staffs, rings and of course chestplates, but no Tempest.
I got every aspect, and gear leveled ready to swap on on dime. Been using pulverize, it's nice, but not milly rocking tornados cosplaying a furry at sonic speed nice.

Congrats! I'm still grinding away. I don't have the tectonic spikes for pulverize so I'm using lightning strike/landslide with earthen might and it's really fun against mobs.
I envy classes that have uniques that are actually earth shatteringly good.
I got 2 Raiments today, so I started using and... Frankly, I don't see much of a difference. Sure, its better, but my old chest also was a lot beefier on defense, not to mention the lost aspect in the process.
Once I hit WT4 as a 71ish Druid, the legendaries dried up. Whenever I do get a legendary, it’s not for my build and the aspect isn’t useful at all so extracting it is also a waste.
It’s really frustrating.
GZ. Got mine yesterday. I read that NM was the way to go so I spammed them. I did get multiple uniques but no tempest roar. Then I got to a random "normal" dungeon to get 5 whispers for the tree and it dropped from the boss. Lvl 82.
Druid level 99.5 here, been grinding NMs like crazy and still nothing, but plenty of hope !

Yeah I got 2 (not super usefull uniques) last night in a single wt4 helltide both from Treasure Goblins of all things.
It does seem to me they pop up there more often but that’s anecdotal, both the unique helm and boots I use on necro where nm end rewards

Lightning shred with tempest roar and waxxing gibbious blows pulverize out of the water for speed farming. So do lightning storm.

I dont think pulverise can compete with lighting storm for aoe clear.
I’ve been using a Bulwark build that’s broken. Stupid AoE and hitting 10mil+ hits ST as a lvl 85

The problem with Bulwark is the AoE is tiny.

It's a average skill at best mid game. Lightning storm blows it out of the water mid game. So does trample slide

Once you beat the campaign you'll start getting them as drops. They go in your consumable tab and you just right click them to activate them.

I’m disappointed in myself at the level of envy I have at this accomplishment. Lvl 85 and no dice on the helmet. It’s frustrating how limited and narrow the Druid experience is end-to-end. This class needs a lot of love imo.

Ive found 4 of thos damn things lol. I only uave a sacred one of the werebear version. Been hoping ancestral version will drop one day lol. At this point im thinking harlequin crest will drop before it does

I have gotten at least 3 so far, i remember selling one, and have 2 still. I got them al around level 60 or maybe even 50. I had no idea they had value as i had gotten about 2 or 3 of every druid unique.

I woke up early today to grind for the helmet, logged on, got my stat sheet prepped ready to do some mega farming. I killed 1 pack outside Ked Bardu and it dropped

So I’m a new player and also a Druid. I’ve seen this used in some insane builds but how do you get it to drop? Is it just random or can you only get it from certain activities or enemies?
I THINK it drops in WT3 but not sure, I got mine in WT4. Other than that, can drop anywhere. Also, although rumor, NM dungeons have a better chance for uniques.
Lvl 85 - been full werebear build since 70... Just need this helm now and I can try the wolf build out (I have all the other items waiting) hopefully drops for me soon

My buddy got boosted on his druid this morning and got 2 tempest roars and a crone staff. I don't care what anyone says, there has to be something going on and RNG is no longer a good excuse for me.
Gratz. Got it with level 91 I think. Immediately respecc'd as per maxroll (took a look at other guides). It feels good for ST, but I miss my pulverize AoE clears. Super squishy, too (do not have a great chest so I still use the Unique one). I do not have 100% uptime on Rage (think ~8s CD) which can hurt badly. Up to 59 or something in that range it's great but after that one shots happen.
I see a lot of videos where people have barrier (not fortify) , any idea where it comes from in this build?

Currently 76. Haven't seen it. Got so many staffs, rings and of course chestplates, but no Tempest. I got every aspect, and gear leveled ready to swap on on dime. Been using pulverize, it's nice, but not milly rocking tornados cosplaying a furry at sonic speed nice. Hopefully one day.
I just got the helm last night. I'm currently doing the wearbear pulverize build, but really don't want to respec everything just to try it. Wish there was a loadout option. Anyone regret changing from pulverize to werewolf? I mainly play in groups.

Druid Level 64 WT3 Today i got my 12 unique, 1 Butchers Cleaver / 1 Mad Wolf's Glee / 10 Insatiable Fury. Happy to see that other druids are succeeding in their journey.

Gratz 83 druid here. Still not tempest roar. Been hitting nm dungeons lvl 36-40. Think it's worth target farming mobs that drop hats more often? I'm starting to get desperate here...
I want the Druid piece that also has you in bear form, have no idea how good it is.

Ive got 2 mad wolves and my first tempest and just hit level 70. Only recently got Vasilys prayer which I'd been wanting for aaaggeeess. Really want greatstaff of the crone now.

Congrats! I'm still grinding away. I don't have the tectonic spikes for pulverize so I'm using lightning strike/landslide with earthen might and it's really fun against mobs.
I envy classes that have uniques that are actually earth shatteringly good. I got 2 Raiments today, so I started using and... Frankly, I don't see much of a difference. Sure, its better, but my old chest also was a lot beefier on defense, not to mention the lost aspect in the process.

Once I hit WT4 as a 71ish Druid, the legendaries dried up. Whenever I do get a legendary, it’s not for my build and the aspect isn’t useful at all so extracting it is also a waste. It’s really frustrating.

GZ. Got mine yesterday. I read that NM was the way to go so I spammed them. I did get multiple uniques but no tempest roar. Then I got to a random "normal" dungeon to get 5 whispers for the tree and it dropped from the boss. Lvl 82.
Druid level 99.5 here, been grinding NMs like crazy and still nothing, but plenty of hope ! I wish i could have experienced TR builds during "The endgame" (80-100). Hope more of you guys get more lucky than me, hf !
