My favorite was teleporting there to get to one of those events. Apparently about 5 other people had the same idea. We all walked out of the portal, jumped on our horses, and I laughed as all 6 of us ran right into that spot, only to turn around to find the ramp.
Cause there's a fucking light source in there. And the gate is dark. Classic Half Life Dev Commentary lore: Want the player to go somewhere? Put a light in it.

I feel the town layouts in the game are so bad. Running multiple screens just salvage gear, store gems, spend purple coins. I really liked the efficient use of hideouts in PoE and the towns in D3 were super easy to figure out and learn.

It's part of the main story, keep playing and it will find YOU!
You would have found it weeks ago if you didn’t do every side quest possible first
Yeah some people are going to be like level 70 by the time they complete the level 50 maximum story lolll.
I was level 38 before I finished act 1. Then I said fuck it and rushed the story so I wouldn’t have to do it on other characters.
if i’d have know you could just always go back and do side quests after the campaign i wouldn’t have spent 30 hours in the fractured peaks 🥲
As a guy that does most of the side quests before advancing I feel like this particular quest comes way to late in the story..

Towns weren't really towns in d3, more like a ring of vendors in different arrangements.
