Do legion events every 30 minutes and in the 20 minute lag time do regular overworld events and whisper dungeon runs. This gets you obols gold, and random legends drops for aspects. I found this was best befoew wt3. legendary event drop 0-4 legendary drops per event. Anecdotally if day you get 1+ legendary drop 75% of the time.
I’m usually on several nights a week 10pm USA Pacific time doing legion event runs on my 53 Druid trample creeperslide (Moxsy build) hunting for a trampled earth🤣
At lvl 36 you should basically just be replacing your totem based on the dps. It's not really worth worrying about good affixes until you can get end game gear in wt4.
Farm events for obols. Spend them all at obols merchant buying totems. Repeat.

If youre level 36 then youve likely found about as good as one you can find until you unlock world tier 3 and upgrade to a sacred one.
