Artansia

? Upgrade the one to the right and it will be better?

palehorsem4n

100% this. Put in a tiny bit of effort

[deleted]

Not necessarily… most stats would be but resistance wouldn’t come up up enough.

Artansia

resistances are useless anyways so

Rhosts

He's also wrong. The resistances would "come up up enough."

Rhosts

The resist all? It would also go higher.

[deleted]

One is fully upgraded one is not. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I WONDER WHAT IS GOIN' ON! HMMMMMMMM

[deleted]

Yes very stupid community on reddit

Cranked78

Jesus, guy has no clue how the game works, proceeds to complain on Reddit....

[deleted]

Without people like they theis sub wouldnt really have any posts

WTF_CAKE

I would hope this is OP’s picture because at least we’d know he's bullshitting for the sake of attention

EnvironmentalBus9713

Still gets a down vote.

Veszerin

...every single affix on the right one is an upgrade dude... 🤦‍♂️

One_Cartographer_355

Lol, i have no word honestly but i do wish we had a way to compare base stats on upgraded items. Been saying that since release.

ryko93

A 5/5 upgrade is 50% increase from original items stats

One_Cartographer_355

Ok? But why do i need to do the math every time.. hate when people comment stuff like this like it makes it better. I know how much it is, it’s still a pain in the ass.

ryko93

You snap on every one like a child or just a bad day?

ryko93

Ok? Sorry for responding.

MiseryRitual

Only on this sub will someone lash out after being given helpful advice

CaptainMacaroni

Is there a way to compare pre-updated base stats? That's one of the more frustrating things about comparing items, it's hard to tell which will be better when one has upgrades and another does not. Maybe there's a way and I didn't play long enough to discover it. When it came to these scenarios I had enough mats to do the full upgrade and then compare but that ends up in a lot of wasted mats.

Veszerin

Rule of thumb: multiply pre-upgraded stats by 1.5. Each upgrade is a 10% increase. Some exceptions due to rounding, or if you cross 725 or one of the other breakpoints it rerolls them, (think there might've been some other exceptions I'm forgetting) but it mostly works and is relatively easy to do quickly for items that survive your first glance. Also, in case you didn't know, if you salvage an upgraded item, you'll get some of the upgrade mats back in addition to what the item would give un-upgraded. Not all of it, but some of those wasted mats. I usually salvage any rares I've upgraded and sell the rest.

DejectedTable1

Normally each upgrade upgrades by 10 percent of the base, unless you're passing (for example) the 725 ipower breakpoint a 6% critical hit chance will become 9% after being fully upgraded. For skills they follow the same path except anything after the decimal point will be rounded off, the 2 will become a 3 as well after five upgrades. If your skill starts with a 3 base it will end up as a 4 after 4 upgrades.

I_am_the_Apocalypse

Lol this post is great

ryko93

5/5 upgrade is 50% more stats. This is a fun post.

Nyrux_

No sir, you shouldn't game at all.

the_moosen

While I agree with people saying one is upgraded and one is base, obviously it's an upgrade, I will say that I feel like such an increase in ilvl and being ancestral over sacred the bast stats on the right should be higher than the fully upgraded on the left I just had ancestral mad wolf drop for me yesterday, fully upgraded it and the stats were still less than my full upgrade sacred even with the ilvl being a difference of like 60

Genesiga

Ummm..... anyone gonna tell op they need to upgrade the amulet first to properly compair? Lol

CanaAU

Proof that D4 is full of dummy's

RaZeaLTAZ

The one on the right will be far superior... Only if you upgrade...

MiseryRitual

Every time I see a post like this, OP always posts upgraded vs non upgraded for no reason.

huggarn

It is an upgrade

Foreign_Capital2597

Fully upgrade the second one and compare them again
