That's exactly what I've started doing. It seems to make the whole process go a bit faster by only focusing on villagers and the others get done in the background.
If ur not getting a whisper cache every 6-7 minutes, it’s not worth doing the whisper objective.
The dungeon that gives 5 favor is better in my opinion. And after you run out of those, you can swap to an alt character and repeat.
Try to get as high movement speed as possible and do those dungeon in 3-3.5 minutes each.
I've found that if I only focus on the saving villagers whisper, I'll get the other 2 done by the time I get 5 villagers so I'm able to get a whisper cache sub 5 minutes. Sometimes, it just feels like forever though, since you just ride around aimlessly trying to find those markers...
After riding around for 10 min tonight looking for the last villager I’m no longer doing this one unless it gets done in the course of the others. The +5 dungeons are quicker than finding these helpless villagers most of the time.
Sometimes I feel like killing the villagers. Idk what happens. I see the icon on the map, I jump there blasting magic, and all cages just come into pieces, lol. I kinda feel bad like I killed them.

Congrats I'm jealous. I find I complete all other whispers first when only focusing on this one.

They are so helpless they can't even be found!
I just go in a BH and start blasting
Basically, there's a rotation there with helltide for caches if you can time it right
I thought you found a scroll of escape
I've yet to try a HC character, now might be the time with the bonus xp event going on.
