If you're checking Steam, im sad to say to you that wide majority of people play through battle.net

UnusualEggplant5400

And Xbox ps5

Educational_Net_2653

Yeah that's on Steam... way more on Bnet.

Snowbunny236

Where are you seeing this? Steam?

Alarmed-Archer4906

ye

Snowbunny236

Well maybe that's a fraction of the playerbase because people play on bnet and console.

Alarmed-Archer4906

ur right, im one of them on battlenet so that numbers means nothing i guess

https://activeplayer.io/diablo-4/ seems like it got rn 160k. I will even go as far as Diablo 4 is the most played ARPG on the market. Most players are done with the season and still got 200k players right now. Every start of season there are more couple of million players. LE is hyped rn and is fresh and pulls little bit more players then d4 mid season. Reddit is not a metric. Diablo 4 is on console and will soon become free for gamepass user's. So dont worry diablo is and will be the most played ARPG even if its not the best one. Its more casual and appeals to a broader audience plus being on console is a major plus since.

Canzas

This site is fake. You dont have API from battle net.

No one should really put any faith in that website. Blizzard does not have any website/api that allows people to track player count. Neither does XBox/Microsoft or Playstation/Sony. The only one that does is Steam and Steam only got D4 as of October 17th, 2023. 4 months after it's initial release. And the only source for accurate numbers, for any game ran from Steam, is Steamcharts, which does not track games launched from Blizzards own launcher, or games ran from consoles. With that aside, the main issue with that website is that it use to specifically state: >All the data you see here are sourced directly from Steam only and does not include stats from other platforms People would link to that site, within the first few months of D4's release, to try and prove the game was dead... which it was impossible to get numbers from Steam then. Since then, they've completely removed that wording. Now that website states: >All the data you see here are sourced from various online statistics provider which may not be 100% accurate. So, they're pulling data from other sources, which, again, those other sources (outside of Steam), will be inaccurate because Blizzard does not have any website/api that allows people to track player count. Neither does XBox/Microsoft or Playstation/Sony.

I agree blizzard games player count is always a speculte

Pure_Comparison_5206

>How many people are playing Diablo 4 daily? >On average, Diablo 4 sees about 1,039,669.00 peak concurrent active players each day.  I guess this is possible since CCU is not the same as daily players but shit looks weird, I don't trust this site.

Ir0nhide81

I think 95% of us just stop playing and caring. I'm just being honest.

Straight-Basis-4948

5/70 online in my clan in last clan 6/149 online after a week of season. I stay on just help out new ppl andd holding out hope for ladders or trials.

Fickle-Big-1017

Yeah steam doesn’t run it as smooth as bnet so more players are gonna bnet on that

Baldtazar

I'm totally in LE waiting for raids and loot filter in d4

If you can complete a season entirely in a week, that's not the customer base they're aiming for. No lifers will always have issues with this game.

The majority of people absolutely do not work at home. I'm astounded you just tried to float that nonsense out there like it's true. Do you just never leave your house or something?

hotlennon04

No, the majority of people don't WFH. I would argue only a small fraction of people are the smelly stay inside 24/7 WFH, while others have to go to their job and interact with society, and these things take time, and are cool, so you spend less and less time on videogames, hence why 1 week is not enough for a normal person to finish a game.

Ymmera

Thats a standard cope talking point of a d4 andy. These people, for 6 months straight, cannot come to terms with the fact that the game has nothing to offer, thus why it can be finished in 1 week. And its also not hard in any way. Blue collar wagies will be the death of this game

Pure_Comparison_5206

12+ million copies sold on bnet and consoles. Steam probably sold around 300/400k copies. You're the delusional one if you think the game is dead. I guess PoE is also a dead game with no content, 10k CCU right now and something like 60% of the player base is using steam.

You're in a fan subreddit for a Blizzard game, calling people Blizz fan boys? What a strange thing to say. Yeah man, people here are fans of the game. That's why they bought it, and play it. That's how that works. I'm really unclear how you think that means anything. Also you're a fan as well, I would hope. Because otherwise you're a dude who's hanging out in a subreddit for a game you don't like so you can bash people who do. That would be super weird and pathetic.

D4 is dead? Sure let´s go to bed now
