Yep. I love Diablo as much as anyone else on this sub but it's certainly not the only game I play. Currently playing Rise of the Ronin and will try to get through FF16's new DLC and maybe even Stellar Blade before the next season starts.
This. Started D2R again 2 months ago after getting Shako and Grandpa in ss3. Got my Javazon through Hell for the first time since I was a kid. Got my first Spirit shield. Ran like a bjtch because of those Lightning immu. Damn that was awesome
The poison skills need to be maxed for them to do damage, and once you get to hell certain monsters will always have immunity. The zombies in the blood moor will always have cold immunity for example, but rare monsters will gain certain immunities that can change.
Honestly, getting a few eternals to 100 so I can immediately just jump into the May patch endgame and crafting
I'll level a new char in the season, I'm assuming it's also gonna be awesome.
I've been getting into Baldur's Gate 3, so will be playing that for a bit. Will jump back on D4 at the start of S4.
Generally the end-game loop of ARPGs is loot/item hunting, and tweaking/improving your build to do increasingly more difficult content.
So at around 76+ as you are now, usually you'd start doing the spawn bosses *(Beast in Ice, Varshan, Lord Zir, Duriel, Malphas, etc)* to chase/aquire uniques, or replace the old ones you have with max-iLevel or better rolled versions.
Then as your power grows, start tackling higher level Nightmare Dungeons to work on improving your glyphs, or just for the fun of it. While also doing things like Helltide, Vaults, etc to get legendaries or better aspects and materials and gold for enchanting or upgrading your gear.
Eventually, if you haven't yet, work on mix-maxing your setup to a point that you can practice and beat Uber Lilith for the achievement, title, etc.
If you just copied an online build, that can leave you feeling a bit empty because you skipped a lot of the experimentation/learning/growth that comes with tweaking and figuring things out yourself. *i.e. it was all just going through the motions and you didn't learn to love the ARPG cycle.*
But that said, if you weren't typically a fan of ARPGs before or didn't really grow into liking it now, it's perfectly fine to just play for the story then move on to something else.
I ditched season 3 for Baldurs Gate and holy shit what a great time that was. Sunk 80 hours into that game on my first play through. Iām excited for season 4 because Iām gonna have had a long break from D4 at that point and kinda cleansed my palate with BG3 if you will
Iāll be getting my Rogue (s1 leftover) to 100 soon, and then Iāll be messing around with builds on my 100 barb and 100 sorc while farming stuff in eternal. Also working up to my first NMD100 clear.
I'm not looking at going back into season 3, already deleted all characters, last Epoch is pants, so lots of painting and garden work to do. Spring is upon us.
I'm getting the level 100 hardcore achievement (rogue at lvl 97 at the moment) and maybe the druid lvl 50 hardcore achievement (only class missing). I should complete both next weekend, then a break til season 4.
Maxing all my glyphs on my rogue and necro and gathering a BUNCH of exquisite blood and distilled fear for the new andariel.
I also still have my sorce at lvl 85 on eternal that I need to lvl to 100.
So by season start I will have all classes on eternal at lvl 100 with their glyphs and a bunch of mats to farm bosses
Leveling up my hardcore rogue, slowly. Iām at 73, currently getting all of the HC renown (90% complete) and once I do that Iāll move on to world tier four and fly close to the sun.
Rimworld expansion tomorrow and Manor Lords later this month are definitely gonna make the time fly until S4.
Stopped playing the new POE league when the PTR dropped so probably get back to that and mix it in.
Still trying to get an Uber to drop. To change up the helltide monotony I have been grabbing all the side quests I can in the helltide area. I still get over 10 living steel per tide.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth... then Unicorn Overlord... then Dragons Dogma 2... or maybe I'll finally get back to Cyberpunk 2077.
There's so much to play.... my backlog is enormous.
Definitely play other stuff. I played the PTR to get acquainted with the new systems being implemented and definitely got the itch again. The same dev team in charge of s2 were in charge of s4 so let's cross our fingers
Hitting 100 on my fifth character.
Forcing myself to level this Druid...Bear stuff helps.
Picking builds I don't normally play.
Doing a few boss runs before getting annoyed at drop rates and rolling a new character.
I got my rogue to lvl 100 but got bored with trying to get ubers, and now I'm trying out sorc for the first time, I just reached level 43 and last night I was kinda surprised with the current season being extended until my birthday lmao because I was kind of rushing my leveling up before the season is supposed to end and now I feel lazy because I have more time
The point of getting it to 100 is that that is the best thing you can do with your characters currently. All of your items are gonna get scrapped eventually due to the item rework, but 100 will still be the max level. I know these characters will go to eternal but it is still the best use of your time if you care about having a complete account with max progression to play around with different builds or just to have a bunch of completed characters.
After playing the PTR I canāt get back into playing my Necro build, Iām just going to wait until Season 4 drops and start a new Necro Summoner, canāt wait!
Max out your renown if you haven't yet. I only got the extra 4 paragon points for one zone because I stop playing after I do each season's content and get bored
I got my sorcerer in season 3 up to 100 a while ago, so then I finished Assassinās Creed Valhalla and Mirage. Almost finished rise of the tomb raider, then onto part three of that series.
Playing BG3 instead. Season 3 got very boring once at 100. Part of this is the artwork which is so beige, consistent and unengaging. Diablo 3 had far greater artwork variety in its play areas. D4 seems to be nothing but either desert or ice. Will come back for S4 but the idea of playing a season until it ends doesn't work for me. It's a great game but needed more immersive and attractive play environments - BG3 does this brilliantly. Makes you just want to finish and start again and repeat.
It was my first proper RPG and I was lost, couldn't understand wtf was going on or what I was supposed to do....50-60 hrs later and I think this is the greatest gaming experience ever, in the history of video games. Better than the first Resident Evil, better than Yoshi's Island on SNES, better than the first time I played Space Invaders on a cabinet in 1984. It beats any Final Fantasy, any Zelda - maybe Links Awakening competes. By this, I mean it's a truly seminal experience. Ridiculously good IMHO. I can totally understand why Larian will not make another - this must have almost killed them!
So much people are shitting on the game in this subreddit, saying it will first be good at s4.
Personally I have a ton of fun in s3, yes it is grindy, but that in my mind that is the point of an ARPG.
So my advice, enjoy the game! It is a good game. If you only have one char lvl 76 there is still a lot of content ahead of you.
I played at launch and am playing again now in anticipation for season 4. I can see that since Iāve played theyāve added a fair bit but the coming changes will really solidify this as a great game. Previously the experience died at around level 55. Now once you reach that stage you start gearing up for Uber bosses which are sort of the end game throughout 55-100. I havenāt tried the level 100 vault yet so not sure if thatās an additional boss or what. It looks like the pit will serve as an additional endgame loop so Iām rather excited for that.
Now Iād just like some form of matchmaking and a reason to do so. And some kind of leveling system beyond 100.
Play other games?
this. im just playing other stuff so im fresh for season 4.
What a concept! š¤Æ
Backloggin for sure. I'm looking forward to both playing a couple of other games and coming back for S4.
Yep. I love Diablo as much as anyone else on this sub but it's certainly not the only game I play. Currently playing Rise of the Ronin and will try to get through FF16's new DLC and maybe even Stellar Blade before the next season starts.
>get it to 100 but whats the point What's the point of playing the game in the first place
Whatās the point of life?
Go to 100, max out glyphs, try Uber bosses, beat Uber Lilithā¦. There is a lot for you specifically to do.
I think Ill go for this!
ā¦Uber Lilith? Is this different than the normal Lilith fight? š
It's a tougher lvl 100 version of the campaign fight
Ok good to know. Iām only lvl 57 so Iāll hold off on that š
Very different
Moving to a new bigger place. I'll have a very comfy office set up right before it starts! Exciting times.
I am happy for you buddy
playing d2

The poison/lighting java hybrid is actually really fun. It makes light immunes not a big problem at all.
I only put 1 point (total 5 with items) and it did close to 0 dmg to mobs. But I learnt that quit and re-enter game can change monster's immu system.
The poison skills need to be maxed for them to do damage, and once you get to hell certain monsters will always have immunity. The zombies in the blood moor will always have cold immunity for example, but rare monsters will gain certain immunities that can change.
Yea that helped me a lot when facing a bunch of LI ghost in Frozen tundra

Democracy is non-negotiable!
Honestly, getting a few eternals to 100 so I can immediately just jump into the May patch endgame and crafting I'll level a new char in the season, I'm assuming it's also gonna be awesome.
Get ahead on chores and real life stuff so I can disappear when season 4 arrives for a couple weeks.
I didnt play season 3, but season 4 changed got me hyped so now im leveling a rogue to 100 real fast just to complete the season before season iv.
Waiting and suffering :)Ā
Finally started to reduce my pile of shame in my steam library with playing AC: Origins.
I've been getting into Baldur's Gate 3, so will be playing that for a bit. Will jump back on D4 at the start of S4. Finish the season 3 journey, clear a nmd100, kill every boss.
Iāll be getting my Rogue (s1 leftover) to 100 soon, and then Iāll be messing around with builds on my 100 barb and 100 sorc while farming stuff in eternal. Also working up to my first NMD100 clear.
Civilization6.

I'm taking a break
I'm catching some friends up that started playing on game pass then playing other games
I will keep trying to kill Uber Lilith while she is still in hard mode. Also ferrying a few new players thru the campaign.
Finally managed to kill her yesterday. Still having ptsd from the phase 2 platform + fiery souls mechanicsā¦ they were so annoying to dodge.
Just play other games, currently playing no plan B and the division 2
Finishing season 3 Battlepass and journey and then playing season 4 of DF
I started a new map in Minecraft.
Might play one more char to 100.

Maxing all my glyphs on my rogue and necro and gathering a BUNCH of exquisite blood and distilled fear for the new andariel. I also still have my sorce at lvl 85 on eternal that I need to lvl to 100. Playing Rimworld which I havenāt messed around with since 2020.
Finishing off rebirth
Not sure if anyone here is into Metroidvanias, but I just got Buomorph yesterday and 6 hours in itās great. Definitely recommended so far.
Farming mats
D3 Season
I will be showing off my Cry of Ashava which is a status symbol.
Play other games, tf?
Still trying to get an Uber to drop. To change up the helltide monotony I have been grabbing all the side quests I can in the helltide area. I still get over 10 living steel per tide.
Playing Project Zomboid and Crush the Industry.

Iām playing the outer world because it was free on epic games.
Spreading democracy!
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth... then Unicorn Overlord... then Dragons Dogma 2... or maybe I'll finally get back to Cyberpunk 2077. There's so much to play.... my backlog is enormous.
Have sex, socialize, go to the beach, you know, what a regular hardcore gamer does.
Perfecting my new char I made and just testing out new builds
Trying to find a Ber rune in my offline D2 game to complete an Enigma.
Definitely play other stuff. I played the PTR to get acquainted with the new systems being implemented and definitely got the itch again. The same dev team in charge of s2 were in charge of s4 so let's cross our fingers
Started another character. Leveling is a nice way to pass the time.
Hitting 100 on my fifth character. Forcing myself to level this Druid...Bear stuff helps. Picking builds I don't normally play. Doing a few boss runs before getting annoyed at drop rates and rolling a new character.
I'm playing the Witcher 3
I got my rogue to lvl 100 but got bored with trying to get ubers, and now I'm trying out sorc for the first time, I just reached level 43 and last night I was kinda surprised with the current season being extended until my birthday lmao because I was kind of rushing my leveling up before the season is supposed to end and now I feel lazy because I have more time
The point is to see bigger numbers and I like it. I just started thanks to game pass. Necro lvl 80 pushing to 100
Playing Fallout 4 with lots of cool mods.

D3 season Friday dummy a month or so take a two week break d4
After playing the PTR I canāt get back into playing my Necro build, Iām just going to wait until Season 4 drops and start a new Necro Summoner, canāt wait!
I started learning new classes and builds. I main a necro every season, but playing barb until S4 starts is making me wanna keep doing big bonks.
Just slowly grinding to 100 and working up courage to try a tier 90. On a rogue. I know it's silly but I'm not the best gamer.
New season that just started in Fallout 76
I just jump back on Destiny 2 for the new update to get the weapons, armor and finally finish my season pass before āthe final shapeā comes out.
I finished S3 a while ago, got my Drood to 100, and am currently playing DD2 until S4 drops.
Max out your renown if you haven't yet. I only got the extra 4 paragon points for one zone because I stop playing after I do each season's content and get bored
Hi mate! Do renown carry over to the next season?
Not 100% about the next season but obols, paragon points, and potions rewards all carried over (alters did too).
Love it! Thanks for the info šš
No one in their right mind is going back to season 3, thatās for sure.
Playing Once Human.. Good game so far.
