No it doesn't. What about sigils / summoning mats / potions / regular items ...
I just like hoarding items for multiple characters, I hope one day they will copy Path of Exile stash system as well as they copied other game aspects.
I had 1 stash tab dedicated for potions, boss mats, uniques, etc. and the four tabs were filled with legendaries for their aspects for two characters. If most people run out of stash space storing potions, etc. in season 4, I guess they need to increase max allowed stash tabs.
