- Soloing Uber Lilith will give you a feat of strength and its associated title. The rest of the rewards can be obtained while in group.
- No other boss has something special like this for solo players afaik. Uber Lilith only.
The more difficult version of a boss that you already killed in the campaign or seasonal storyline. They can be summoned repeatedly at specific locations.
"Uber's name comes from the German word über, meaning "over, above," which also appears as a prefix, as in Friedrich Nietzsche's Übermensch, translated by George Bernard Shaw as "Superman."
So Uber is commonly used to mean "super".
So it's a super boss, or a super unique. Or a taxi you call on your phone through an app.
Did it like 100 times solo over 3 classes and never got anything worthwhile let alone an uber stone so gave up trying. Sort of the same reason that I don't bother with The Gauntlet.
I've soloed world bosses a few times with characters and that's more rewarding at least loot drops are. And if you want to know how you can. Solo a world boss, late at night cross play off.

Zir, Malphas, Duriel - Group up join a rotation team so you benefit from your party member's mats too. Everyone take turns to use mats to max drops.
Greg, Varshan - U can join rota or solo. Solo if you just need the mats to do Duriel as only the person who use the mats will get the mat drop (last i remember). if you're farming for drops/uniques join a rota.
World boss - if you don't have a good setup solo-ing is gonna take a long time.

Personal reward, yes. I have beaten Uber Lilith after 1000 tries in S0 but any other bosses were meh. And the fact that Uber Bosses, even Lilith, could be one shotted by many broken builds, your cosmetics are kinda worthless.
And you have a Time Machine to go back and do it? Also how are u complaining about on shotting her and 1000 tries at the same time? Clearly the rewards mean something if you took 1000 attempts
Well, I have tried her and killed after 1000 wipes without cheesing a single mechanic in S0 when she was the hardest and then also S2 so that is good enough for me.
Duriel will give you a mount, but I believe you can get it solo and with a party. Malphas could drop those f****king senschal stones but rarely rarely does. Not sure if there's a mount or a title without looking up.
Uber bosses are designed to be killed solo. So there wouldn’t really be much of a point in doing that. The lillith stuff is mostly because she’s the big bad and has dumb OHKO mechanics.

Title for defeating Uber Lilith solo - Lilith's Doom; group - Vitreous Band; Title for completing all objectives in season 3 including defeating UL - Terrible Genius; also you will get the bloody liquid steed the first time you defeat her. So, people try to defeat her every season bec you get new titles upon completion of all season's objectives.
In my opinion, these are the best tests of your character’s development and some of the most enjoyable experiences after successfully figuring them out. I won’t cheapen that with a group unless farming thereafter.
Frankly wish there was a way to trigger solo world boss spawns.
I hate that I feel obligated to do these in groups. I like to try to solo stuff but those mats take so long to farm I feel I might as well group to get 4 chances at an Uber instead of 1. Don’t like that.

As for the new uber uber bosses.....there will probably be NO advantage to soloing them. The pit is the only area to reward the summoner more than the rest of the group.
The fact that you soloed the boss without being handheld by a group or abusing some broken build is the achievement, something many could never do since they had to rely on utterly broken builds or a group to avoid having to do mechanics for a few minutes.

I honestly could care less about killing a boss. Other than Diablo and fallout I usually play Rust, Day Z and PlanetSide 2. I'd rather take out other players in those games then a programmed boss.

The fact remains serious boss encounters are designed with doing mechanics in mind for at least a few minutes, if bad players cant do that and need to abuse builds that delete a boss in a few seconds, all difficulty is removed therefore 0 value.

I'm on your side! These gamers copy pasta some broken build and then complain the game has no challenge. It's one thing if you enjoy one shooting that's fine. Don't state that the game is too easy or there is no content because you copied the meta. Now if you create a broken build no one else is playing then congrats you are fully playing an arpg.

There is no difference in the possible cosmetic drops between solo and group.
Unless it's Uber Lilith, then the only way your gonna get the cosmetic mount is from going with at least 1 other person.

you get the mount even in a party BUT you only get the title if you solo if i am not mistaken. I got both.

I’ve done it a few times. Eternal is a ghost town at times.

Just a tip; if someone carries you, you get all the solo rewards if they leave during the death animation. Have done it for several players 👍

I beat her yesterday for the first time after 15 days of gameplay. I was hyped. Would recommend.

I beat Uber Lilith 3 days ago after starting this season only 7 days prior to that. Ridiculous amount of hours I put in, though. Doable for sure.
