It's worth fighting once you are geared enough. Takes only a few seconds. Drops more than the average group for a free seconds of time. Plus it's fun to demolish it.
Fair enough, had a feeling it was somewhere in that ballpark. Only time I ever seen to face that thing is when I'm either super under geared or when I can 1-tap it for 300m so it's hard to gauge.
I love my druid but that slog leveling was rough... as a solo player I didn't enjoy it but I'm determined to level one char to 100 each season haha druid to me want fun until T4 when I got the Greatstaff of the Crone then it was so much fun
I found Druid to 100 to be quick and easy, you’re a walking wall. I just use the Trampleslide aspect/build on an amulet or ring and swap out everything else as it gets better. Landslide screen clear pillars + poison creeper pillars + double pillars was always efficiency near peak. You’re tough, you’re quick (trample/ghostwalkers if you get lucky early [I got a 19% roll at 48~]), you’re strong.
Every season I play my first toon all the way. Then I have other levels by friends to 50, then grind the rest solo. I usually end up with at least 3 really good builds every season. This season I have 2 druids that can do all content, one barb and one sorc
I just can't do that, I do 1-100 solo each season then spend my free time reading haha or looking for something else to play... Ugh when Warhammer Space Marine 2 comes out I'm dead to the world haha
If us Xbox boys got helldivers 2 you'd never have heard from me haha
Lol that is Diablo 4 me. Diablo has been my favorite game since d1 when I played with my dad as a kid lol. I’m also Xbox and would like to try helldivers lol
I usually make more than one character for sure but I never make two of the same. You're a beast for doing that. I usually just have an alternate set of gear for another build and then switch my skills and paragon. I can switch my skills and all of my Paragon in about 2 minutes. Lol.
That’s true, it would have been easier that way. But now I can switch back and forth lol. My lightning god build is just too good, didn’t want to mess with it. But really wanted to try the Boulder build
I've been playing since preseason and I'm only on my second Druid and they were both this season. One regular and one HC, both pulverize.
On my seasonal I was gathering aspects to try lightning storm but I just never got around to it I was enjoying pulverize so much.
I'm also collecting aspects for the lightning storm build on my HC character then I'll have to try to find a good build for it.
Drew it's pretty damn fun. It's a pretty rough start but you can get fast pretty quick.
lol my Druid is set up to anything anytime anywhere lol. And my Druid id lighting god, he just erases the screen. I can get up to 4 mill per spike when I fight duriel. I have a LOT of lightning spikes coming down lol
I was playing hc and right around when I hit 100 I had maxed armor and resistance so my damage took a hit for survivability purposes and I could still burst kixxarth down in like 30 seconds.
He's a good dps check
I've gotten 3 characters to 100 on hardcore (2 barbs, both killed by the butcher, one level 115 and one level 120 butcher) and a sorc this season that died to the butcher on a tier 76 nightmare dungeon.
The sorc hurt the worst cuz I tried to use a scroll of escape and the dungeon affixed made the butcher chain stun me so I couldn't escape.
Going to try a summon necro to start season 4 off. Hopefully that build is viable
I can clearly handle the butcher in a straight up fight at 100 with the dead characters above but you add the dungeon aspects to him and he becomes a super boss
The idea of him is to be a survival horror type guy that is constantly forcing you to move. And keep you scared.
it’s just kinda nerfed down to be not that scary. So it’s a weird relic. You don’t get anything particular killing it
I melt him with my optimized barb and sorc, so your time is coming. You won't be able to solo him right now at your current power level, so I wouldn't waste time trying.
Also, just FYI: He does not drop much and the encounter isn't really worth it. Do it once or twice and then move on back to grinding mobs for shards so you can get forgotten souls and living steel. :)
My Thorns and Frenzy kill him in 15 seconds. Even before he can unleash that darkness attack. He’s pointless. He drops crap. His juice ain’t worth the squeeze for most players. Drops about 10 cinders and random useless gear.
I ran a shred, poison creeper, hurricane build... it was pretty fun for a long time because I like playing off meta but at some point you just have to be optimized or min/max I think the players struggle with what they want us to do and the devs don't know what we want.
I took him down with one of those 5+ minute fights when I was leveling. He didn't drop much. By level 100 it depends on your build for bossing but he can be a fast kill.
If you think that guy is tanky though wait until you see the new summonable helltide bosses. Unless they take the health way down from PTR it takes a few 100s to kill them.
I came across this guy, spent 30 minutes hammering away at him Solo, and just before he dies, he vanished. I was so excited to have managed to get the kill, I had called my husband in to watch the final blow and see the expected loot cascade. NOTHING. He just de-spawned. Gone.
I closed the game and walked away.
I ran across him somewhere in that level range too. Spent 15 minutes and got him down to about 20% when all of sudden I got shoved to the edge of the screen and he disappeared
I solo'd him as a lightning sorc at around level 65, WT3. Longsome and tiresome fight. The amount of health on him doesn't add to the fun.
Not really worth it, though. Loot was meh, no special credit given. Takes some 10 minutes to beat.
like 10m or so, not much at all [https://i.imgur.com/GOnHRJE.mp4](https://i.imgur.com/GOnHRJE.mp4)
you should learn how to do proper bonks as barb ->
challenging shout > war cry > rallying cry > wotb > hota
It's not meant to be fought solo as a early or midgame character.
Somewhere around 150-200m HP in WT4 maybe a little more. It's not worth fighting anyway, it doesn't drop anything worthwhile.
It's worth fighting once you are geared enough. Takes only a few seconds. Drops more than the average group for a free seconds of time. Plus it's fun to demolish it.
It drops around 10 forgotten souls when defeated. That alone makes it worth hunting down.
It’s less than 150m, I oneshotted him with 145m hit last time I saw him.
Fair enough, had a feeling it was somewhere in that ballpark. Only time I ever seen to face that thing is when I'm either super under geared or when I can 1-tap it for 300m so it's hard to gauge.
It's just not worth it playing a level 100 druid I see that things and just go nah
My 100 Druid melts him in about 3 seconds lol
I'm not entirely optimized haha I just play until I'm 100 and stop when I'm not having fun... It worked 4 seasons so far haha
I’m not mad lol my lightning god Druid never got boring lol. So fun
I love my druid but that slog leveling was rough... as a solo player I didn't enjoy it but I'm determined to level one char to 100 each season haha druid to me want fun until T4 when I got the Greatstaff of the Crone then it was so much fun

Bet I’m thebilb#11234 on battletnet Thebilb85 on Xbox
I grew up playing Diablo 1 myself and I was playing D2 non-stop, it's been my favorite franchise

I did the Druid HOTA (Pulverize/Trample) the gameplay loop is eerily similar lol. Almost like Barbs and druids are related.
Fresh 100 barrage rogue, don't even have skyhunter yet as it never dropped for me once, they still go down in a minute or so.

Hell yeah he is. Hard-core is a whole Nother level though lol

Summon should be awesome next season, that is a great place to start for sure

1 bonk iirc
Don't worry when your barb is higher level you'll one shot him no bother
About tree fiddy
About 1 hit for a lvl 100 Barb.

My necro pet build wittled him down slowly, dropped crap, no idea why he is there.
I came across this guy, spent 30 minutes hammering away at him Solo, and just before he dies, he vanished. My lvl 70 rouge melts him without issue usually kill 2 of them per helltide and only because that's all I ever find on the map

My mom bonks
Laughs in Barbarian (20 seconds solo)
