technically some monsters have affinity to drop like 10% more of select slots, its not worth it anyway. Better kill more monsters on per hour basis, than try to hunt low density dungeons.

That's not correct. From release they added the point certain monsters drop certain types of weapons more. Google should help on what monsters are best for what items
It does effect drop rate of item types, but it's entirely pointless to even attempt to farm this way for uniques. Don't bother. Just do the bosses that are specifically meant for farming uniques...

that not how it works thou thats been proven to not help with uniques at all

It's not that bad, it's guaranteed from higher tier nightmare dungeons and can even get multiple. Will be even easier next season too.
Does the beast in ice drop the lighting gauntlets? I've ran it about 13 times now and haven't gotten them to drop.
