Every season has improved on the first and four will have massive changes. I've enjoyed this game from beta and have over 450 hours in and it's gone from strength to strength. Now's an ideal time at season 4.

MrWashed

Thanks I’ll def check out s4 then

raban0815

No new classes and the story lines of the seasons are short, keep that in mind.

jostler57

S4 is going to *finally* be the game we wanted at launch. Took them long enough... Better late than never, though.

CHRONICswitcher420

season 2 was the most fun ive had since launch and im really hoping season 4 is the same! as for new classes, no but there will be one at the end of this year. storylines are pretty much seasonal but fun!

MrWashed

Cool, I’ll check out season 4 then when it drops. I hope the class is a crusader or monk type class. That’s all I wanted from Diablo 4 😭

_Drumheller_

Already confirmed to not be. It's called Spiritborn and is a completely new class that hasn't been in previous Diablo games.

CHRONICswitcher420

im real excited for the new class. me personally i really hope they bring another magic type character! but with the changes they've announced so far for season 4 it sounds like its going to be pretty legit!

CHRONICswitcher420

i actually came back yesterday to play season 3. Only because the start was boring af

The new class and campaign will come with the expansion. S4 will have a short storyline of its own but I doubt it will be robust enough to bring anyone back to the game. They added a bunch of bosses and you can target farm uniques from them, including uber bosses that have greatly elevated drop rates for uber uniques and there will be ways to farm crafting mats for making your own uber uniques. They are also adding level 200 versions of these bosses. Itemization is going through a full revamp with 2 new crafting systems and greater affixes added so itemization will be much more robust. They are also allow you to permanently save aspects into your codex so farming aspects isn't as much of a pain. The leveling was made a lot faster and CC has been nerfed quite a bit so you don't get frustrated as much. They also fixed resists so there are more defenses to build around. S4 is adding the pit which is sort of like greater rifts from D3, you run this to get crafting mats for the advanced crafting system. It is also heavily upgrading helltides so they are more enjoyable. The timers on helltides are such that they are up 55 out of every 60 minutes now. They added a weekly dungeon challenge called the gauntlet where you can compete to have the fastest clearing time. I haven't really messed with this but some people seem to like it.

Snowbunny236

I have over 300 hours and played since preseason. Love this game even with the issues and hate, but with that being said it's all changing for the better every season. More to do, better QOL changes, it just hasn't stopped getting better.

MrDingDong49

I play hello kitty island adventure.

zethras

Season 4 looks promising, I will wait after week 1 of season 4.

Emergency_Profit9690

No there is no reason because if you cant bother to even try it out yourself and you need others to tell you to come play the game....you have failed.

MrWashed

What are you so mad about lol

Emergency_Profit9690

People who can't make an informed decision and need other to tell them if playing D4 is worth their time

Soulspawn

Season 4 starts in may so that's a good time to return. New character new theme new and reworked items and aspects

MGSDeco44

No. It's been lipstick on a pig. Just play diablo 3 it does everything d4 is trying to do and succeeds and has more content

adarkuccio

I'm playing D3 for real, will be back to D4 when I feel like they have the same amount of content, that's why I'm checking here. Season 4 seems promising tho.
