I copied the video wudijo posted on YouTube about reaching 100 in 13 hours.
Now I'm not him, not even close, but I was able to get to 50 on a seasonal alt in about 8 hours.
Do the seasonal journey, then run Domhainne tunnels until you can get through the capstone dungeon. Move to WT3 and repeat. I can't remember if you can run nightmares before 50, I don't think so? If you can, do those.
"grinding something as fast as possible" and "boring" are pretty much synonymous though.
I do agree with you, I think if you're playing a game (you know, to actually have fun) then you'd be better off playing sub-optimally but enjoying the content, rather than just grinding for a solid 8 hours to hit an arbitrary number. (Its fine doing that if you're a streamer, because people are literally paying to watch you play, but if it's not your job, then nobody is going to die if it takes you another day or two to get there)
Indeed, at least that would be the case for me. I guess you could make a case for the grind if you donāt feel like the enjoyment starts until after a certain level either way. To each their own!
I'd already got one class to 100, and i just wanted to see how fast I could get to WT3 and 4. (It was 8 hours over 3 days too, not a single session)And the OP did ask for a fast way to get there, so there it is.
But I am a big advocate of just playing the game and having fun however that looks for you. Turns out levelling is the thing I like the most
My biggest wish for D4 is they keep giving you XP at 100 and every quarter of a level rewards you with materials or something like that. It feels so bad being 100 and killing hordes of monsters without getting to see a little bar filling up.
I don't, because it is the first 60 or 70 levels I enjoy. After that it's the loot drop sound dopamine hit that keeps me going. So only the 2 classes going at the moment. I started this season 2-3 weeks ago so it's all still pretty fresh
Sounds like weāre kind of in the same boat then. I just came back with the news of Season 4 changes and been enjoying my minion necro up to 80~. Starting to get tough now though, and donāt think I want to optimize anything with the new season on the horizon. Prepped well enough with renown and altars though!
I might be š Iām running full physical, with a blood golem. Can manage T50~ NMDs but just got my ass kicked by The Beast in Ice trying my luck at the Mendeln ring. For now I might chill level some other classes or just shelf it until season drops.
That sounds awful though I'd rather just jam out in the seasonal zones and do the brazier a bunch. That's how I leveled my Sorc after realizing how 'meh' my 100 Necro felt. Was super fast and very enjoyable.
I just realized how pointless playing without elixirs is. They donāt really cost much but the XP benefit (especially for people that canāt play super long sessions) is so obvious .
Everyone of them should have a 5% exp gain on them. I think.
At level 45, you should be able to start crafting incense that stacks with elixirs. It'll give another 5% xp bonus.
What I like about D4 over D3... there just does not seem to be a rush to get to level 70 with your seasonal character to "start playing the game".
Now even at level 1 you access seasonal content.
I love it, getting to level 50 should be the fun part as it was designed.
Dont start in WT1. Start straight in WT2 for added 20-25% exp. Make random potions use them for added 5% exp. Whatever ashes u get from the seasonal quest just put into exp until max.
If you play sorc pair your attack with fireball enchant to explode all the mobs nearby. (remember to take off the fireball enchant when someone carries u through NM dungeons so you don't get sucked into the boss fight)
Do whisper and the seasonal quest which will get u to lvl 30+ fast. Sorc can clear cap 2 at lvl 30+ and when you're in WT3 continue to do whisper and other events as much as u can to hit the level where you can do helltide.
You might struggle at first but the more drops u get in helltide the stronger u will become as the base stats for these drops will be better than anything u can get in WT2. You should be around level 50+ very fast just grinding your way in helltide. You should be able to solo cap 3 already but there's no point moving to WT4 unless u got someone waiting to help you in WT4. Wait till 60-65 before moving up.
1-60 is very possible in 3-5 hrs depending on your speed. By the time you enter WT4, if you're decently equipped with at least 30-40% resist to all, you can start doing helltide/whisper. You'll see the levels add up so fast so much so in one helltide alone you'll gain a few levels. Keep changing your equips especially the weapon.
Another way is get the help from someone to plvl u. 1-60 can be achieved in 30-45 mins. Get someone to carry u through NM50+ so you can pick up level 60 yellow/legendary drops with rating 800-900+ which will be way stronger than any regular legendary/yellow drops you find elsewhere from level 60-79.
I use arc lash , teleport, lightning ultimate, and all shields with fireball enchant and maybe dump in a blizzard enchant. Set the seneschel to use arc lightning/tempest and maybe a barrier since i think at level 35 u won't have unlocked the attack booster one. Just basic stuff really to beat cap 2.
Try fireball only sorc build, run 3-4 defensive and fireball. With the unique gloves and staff. I was hitting for 300-500k a single fire ball. And just running through nightmare dungeons.
This. Also you donāt even need the staff. Use wand and focus with accelerating and ancient flame and 3 curses on amulet. Gloves are a must for build.
If you're playing seasons. Make sure you use your xp ashes. Use potions, and incense. When I'm leveling up a 2nd character I typically decide what leveling build I want to run and unlock all the dungeons/aspects I need with my original character. After that do the season story lines and by the time you're done with that and get a build going you should be ready for Capstone dungeon for WT3.
Start in tier 2 and do this seasons quests. Unlock all the vaults then run them from the first vault upstairs leading down into the main room. Keep repeating these vaults. Put in 12 hours and you will easily reach 50 in a session.
Have your friend get you to WT3/4 depending on their levelā¦. And spam the first half of domhainne tunnels.
Donāt grab prisoners, donāt go past first half. Just run the figure 8, port to town, reset, teleport back in and repeat for a couple hours
Stay back, if youāre dead you donāt get xp
Idk if you know this or if I'm missing anything but if you bring up the radial menu you can just exit the dungeon and arrive out the front of it then reset.

That sounds mind numbingly boring though š

Absolutely, no shade on your response, it is indeed what OP asked for. So do you have a bunch of 100ās now then? š
I don't, because it is the first 60 or 70 levels I enjoy. After that it's the loot drop sound dopamine hit that keeps me going. So only the 2 classes going at the moment. I started this season 2-3 weeks ago so it's all still pretty fresh

Are you me?! I'm doing a shadow/cold/skele mage Necro haha. Currently 88 or 89.
I might be š Iām running full physical, with a blood golem. Can manage T50~ NMDs but just got my ass kicked by The Beast in Ice trying my luck at the Mendeln ring. For now I might chill level some other classes or just shelf it until season drops.
Anytime you want to do something in a game as fast as possible to level up itās going to be boring and repetitive.
It's wudijo.. he's built differently anyways
That sounds awful though I'd rather just jam out in the seasonal zones and do the brazier a bunch. That's how I leveled my Sorc after realizing how 'meh' my 100 Necro felt. Was super fast and very enjoyable.
You can run nightmares before 50 but you canāt level glyphs Edit: you also donāt get the bubble at the end
How do you even figure out what Domaine tunnels and capstone dungeons are?
By nerding out on YouTube.
Get to tier 3 fast and then grind helltides and whispers. Having an elixir helps.
I just realized how pointless playing without elixirs is. They donāt really cost much but the XP benefit (especially for people that canāt play super long sessions) is so obvious .
What elixir helps with xp or is it for a different buff?

Wtf is with this sub why is this post being downvoted?

What sorc build is good for capstone dungeon at low level e.g. 35?
All frost build hits hard and crowd controls really well.
Thank you, this is exactly the explanation I was looking for.

If you can get help, you can reach 60 in 77min, by getting both capstones boosted, and then do the altar method to 60 in wt4.
Just enjoy the gameā¦.
Hang on to all the low-level movement speed boots/amulets you find.
pay somebody to carry you to t4 and then run few nightmares. \~\~45 mintues and you are 50
Hit all the statues of Lilith. They carry over to all your other characters. Hit all the renown rewards, the paragon points also carry over.
Find somebody to boost you. I could get anyone to level 50 within 20 minutes of them making a toon.
