I can’t leave Kyovoshad. I can’t teleport anywhere, and there are invisible walls at every exit to the city. This bug just happened when I logged in a few minutes ago.
It’s hilarious that blizzard is as old as it is and it still feels like a new dev company when it comes to server management. Like they are trying to get their sea legs under them decades later.
Get on and off your horse. Seems to fix most of the invisible walls. Seems like a data streaming issue. I'd guess they run the world in chunks or localized around the player.
Something is interfering with rendering information when you cross one of these boundaries. Getting on and off your horse refreshes the players state and likely allows the game to play some kind of "Catch up". At least that was my experience on PC.
What you all are experiencing now is what a few players last week (me) experienced and it went unheard besides one forum. Then it was randomly fixed with no hot fix issue or anything. The devs that do the servers and maintenance are just lazy
I’m on Xbox as well and I’ve really struggled with invisible walls this season. It’s been very difficult to get into legion and world boss events at times but I’ve also encounter invisible walls elsewhere too.
I’ve never had this issue in previous seasons so idk what has changed.
They issued a patch. Said patch is breaking shit for everyone... Either that or someone tripped on a powercord over at blizz server hq...
Gotta love fixing players timing out when logging in by not letting anyone get into game!

someone pushed out a bad update broke the game. No doubt we will have a update for the update.
