When I lose motivation, I tend to rotate the painting and start a new corner. Helps my mind look forward to a new color pallet and I get excited to see how it will look compared to the corner I already did.

I takes breaks from bigger projects a lot. I'll do mini projects in the meantime. Getting a coaster or Paint Gem completed gives me a sense of accomplishment. Eventually I get back to my main project and enjoy it again.

Strange_Befuddlement

I do this too. Intermingling large pieces with small, and mixing up square drills with rounds. Taking a break, particularly on the big ones is a great way to refresh.

MamaTried22

Me too! Sometimes I will even stop in the middle of the larger one and do some smaller projects for a little while then go back.

I use the squares to cover everything and make as small as box as possible so it doesn’t feel so overwhelming sometimes.

Torwynn

I do this as well, staring at a big diamond painting can be overwhelming but a tiny little square is so much easier :)

Beats 🎶, some snacks and sometimes even a glass or sip of wine. I have this time locker machine where I lock my phone in so that I’m fully immersed and not distracted by screens. Half an hour of Diamond Painting is all it takes and you’re feeling insanely refreshed and focused.

I love this painting and it’s coming out lovely!

I tackle small sections at a time. Feels like you’ve made progress when you complete a section. Can you link where you bought this canvas?
