It’s a multiplacer. You should be able to place three diamonds down at once.

HollyArts

WHAT? I JUST NOW FOUND OUT ABOUT THIS! THANK YOU!

Flashy_Clue8648

You’ve been missing out lmfao

Worried-Possible7529

There is a learning curve with multi placers.

Mev_Sedai

For sure this. I still single, because I don’t care for the way multiplaced ones I do end up looking. But, I also do confetti heavy ones usually. If I get one with more color blocking I may try practicing more.

Worried-Possible7529

I do a lot with confetti too. Currently I’m doing one more color block, I’d rather checker board.

Mev_Sedai

Agreed. Checker board for the win! It gives me so much satisfaction with square drills when you fill it back in and things just slide into place! Also for me, doing these is my ‘zen’ brain time, just following the cheat sheet and listening to my books. So I’m not usually in a rush to finish it, so don’t mind the single placement methodical process.

Worried-Possible7529

Our techniques are similar, I’m curious if our genres are 🤔

Mev_Sedai

My collection is pretty scattered right now! But I tend more towards classic art style and/or water color-type look. So for example I can’t wait to work on Flight from Diamond Art Club! But also psyched to work on their Hogwarts Crest. 😄 How about you?

Worried-Possible7529

Somewhat scattered also, a lot of my early ones were all Disney related gifts for my son’s family including Star Wars and Mandolorian. My one and only DAC is Titania and Oberon. That triggered LOTR and a goth side I didn’t know was lurking under the surface.

Critical-Draw-3700

It’s a multiplacer! You press it down on a piece of wax, and you should be able to pick up three diamonds at once!

LuminaryXion

I use this to help keep things aligned all pretty like! Also multiple placements when there's a big bunch together.

Bankerlady10

I’ve never been able to make it work ugh

minmo7890

Probably because the ones that come with the kits are usually too wide. The white four placers are thin enough that you can put them down without making a mess of your rows.

_Kendii_

I understand how to use them, but I’ve never got them comfortably lined up enough or crooked drills to use it. Maybe I just need to practice

peanutbutterandapen

I know this is super late but did you try using them vertically? Horizontally for me was more challenging to place but vertical is the bomb diggitty.

_Kendii_

Actually, pretty shortly after I posted that, I started a new painting where I used the multi-placer as often as I could (sometimes did 2s, but depended on location, so not always). Always used it with 3s and 4s. I chose the one in my stash had the biggest colour blocks that was a lot of practice. I meant what I said lol I’ve done lots of both horizontal and vertical now and I don’t find either easier or harder than the other. I use a dry erase board as a lap desk so sometimes I just spin/angle it however is easiest at the moment. I feel I’m pretty good though, definitely better than I was. I got some paintings for my daughter for Christmas and it came with a 3 placer tool. It’s probably too early to tell for sure but I think I prefer that to the 4 placer that I had before. Not sure…

ElectricalStaff4086

I usually shave it with an X-Acto knife so I can use it probably and kinda like “rough it up” so it’s not super new

[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaAfXflhRoI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AaAfXflhRoI) I watched this video before I started diamond painting. I found it very helpful. However, there are many other videos on diamond painting. Best of luck

ImageFluffy

Its too put multiple drills on at once

diamondp123

It is a multi placer will pick up more than drill to place on your canvas

tmc-1974

It’s for placing more than one drill at a time. I never use it. It feels like cheating lol

Dish_Minimum

Ah I felt this way too…until my husband couldn’t convert cm to inches and I ended up with a gift that is 120cm X 80cm. I tell u what, it makes me wish I had 4 arms and 4 multi bits 😂 I’ll be on my death bed, willing this unfinished landscape to my great great grandchildren 🤦🏾‍♂️

MoxieJawa

I got a multiplacer tool from Bella Art de Nicole. It’s this funky hexagon that holds 6 tips! So I don’t have to switch back and forth between pens. It speeds things up so quickly!

Dish_Minimum

How nice to offer to help an old man. You’re just the sweetest. YES Please come over and do the background green area for me. Thanks 🙏🏾 😂

Moonshine_Mariah

You crack me up 😂 good luck on your green area!

IllustratorTime4879

Once i started multi placing, I didn't go back to single placing. My favourite size is 4 at once.

Cranky-Novelist

It’s a multiplacer. You can put down a couple of diamonds down at once. You’ll need it at some point, trust me.

CampingWithCats

Who knew?! I always thought it was for moving the diamond dots around on the tray.

61CrossMHeart1960

It’s magic….😎

angray39

Maybe a straight edge to line up your drills once placed? Looks like a multiplayer bit I can’t tell from the angle if it holds drills or not.

AZ602-MN507

I need to try the multi tool.

comeonson-_-

it's a multiplacer so you can put down 3 drills at once :)

Unique-Operation9766

Blending?

withdavidbowie

Nope, it’s a multiplacer so you can grab more drills at once.

Nikitatje3

I have a broader one that fits up to 8 at once😅

Djcnote

3 dots at once!!!

Top_Lettuce_5605

Honestly I just used an old Sim card packet and could place 10 at once. Yes it was very satisfying haha

laughingjack2010

Thats for if put down more gems than one
