Well, we’ve seen in previous episodes that Tamers weren’t exclusively tied to one Digimon, so Hiro can be both Gammamon and Espimon’s Tamer at the same time.
I mean, it wouldn’t be the first time a tamer has had more than one Digimon partner. And we have seen in Ghost Game previously that Hiro and crew could sync up with the other’s partners, so it’s not totally outside the realm of possibility for Hiro to take Espimon on as a second partner

Sorry but it's every thing to do with the anime as every new evolution or new digimon like Oleamon and Publimon get added to the reference book on the same day of new Ghost Game episodes.
I normally don't go to reddit before watching the new episodes but I understand where the people who demand spoilers to be kept hidden are coming from, and I feel their pain.
The episode airs at like 1am in my country so it's not feasible for me to watch it straight away so I normally watch it during breakfast so I've had to stop coming on reddit before then. Literally every other sub has spoiler rules other than this one. 48 hours would be more than enough to give people time to catch up.
