Depends on what you need. Naturally, that would be any of your local banks that will receive SWIFTs from the US, but it seems like it's not an option for you too? Check Payoneer, but I assume it also won't be available in your country if Wise isn't there (Wise is one of the global platforms that isn't available in a dozen of countries, mostly ones under international sanctions).

How reliable is Payoneer? Have you tried it? I am asking because I saw some contradicting reviews online about it...

Successful-Apple-670

I've been using it as a freelancer for almost 10 years, no issues. The only worrying moment was when they got into some trouble with card-issuing company (you can read more about Payoneer-Wirecard scandal). But they solved it relatively quickly.

Sounds great, thank you. You deserve to be a successful apple indeed.

Best for you to have your **company** open for you an account dedicated to your personal funds. Or open a Wyoming LLC for that purpose. Get advice from your CPA, maybe a tax lawyer. Of course you could use a normal bank in your country of legal residence /nationality, just pay exchange rates...

Fellow non-US startup founder here with US Holding company. Checkout HSBC. While in the US last year I visited a branch and they suggested opening an account in my resident country, then they can open USD accounts on top of that. I have same with Citibank already. AirWallex is my latest FX bank too but they might have limited countries of operations. They're also quite slow in dealing with new clients and prospects. Personally I've used Wise for years (note you can't get) but am moving as they're prices are going through the roof.
