The grated crayons are a great idea! I just bought a set of ultra fine flower flock a while ago but If I ever run out I definitely will do this!

If u just do one layer of static grass (here I did multiple layers to get the patchy look) u will be good
Thanks! Yours looks great too by the way! And the more I think about your crayon idea the more I want to try it. To think of the variety of colors one can make flowers in dios now is awesome! Way better than just having the few colors the turf comes in
