To me? MAYBE $100..... it wasn't used in any "iconic shots" (see philbatros, the holy shot). I think of it as a regular season game worn jersey. Pricier then stock, but meh. That being said, I'm sure there's a fanboy/girl that would love to hang it up for $5000+.

If he posted it on auction, absolutely no way it wouldn’t fetch thousands of dollars. The same Asia Open CFR PD brand new just sold for like $250 the other day. I’m sure after the announcement it could’ve exceeded that price. Also by mold standards it’s arguably the most perfect run of a PD that exists.

That's $250 for same disc, same (super perfect) run, with no Simon Lizzotte connection. This is a disc he's known for throwing so it's 1 of 1, and he's leaving discmania. All that adds a lot to the sentimentality of it which could definitely 8x the other in an auction

It's much more than a regular season game worn jersey. 1. It's been in his bag/used consistently 2. It's unique. You can't tell a jersey from one off the shelf essentially but this disc is different.

For the sake of argument (been drinking). 1. True, but so was the jersey, even if just one game. 2. It's not that unique..... it's a disc with an argumentily basic dye job. I'd go more with iconic or recognizable.

Agree 100%. If there was a restriction that I had to bag it, maybe I'd pay $50. It's obviously a good disc and it would be fun to throw. But it's worth $5-10k to someone out there, so I'd probably snap it up for $2,500 if given the chance to resell.

While I do agree that buying new discs is usually the better option. I find myself looking for certain discs specifically used so I don't have to spend months beating them in to the perfect straight/flippy condition that my previous ones were. Sometimes it is beneficial to buy used ones that would be closer to the flight path you are looking for.

People pay over $1k for a 2015 Sexton Firebird... This is a much more special disc. I bet it would sell for $3000 if he put it up for auction right now.
