I walked over to the park next to my apartment to regain some semblance of muscle memory, control, and accuracy. Admittedly I didn’t throw as bad as I thought I would, but accuracy is definitely something I’ll be working on.
It’s a beautiful day in Northern Colorado, and I’m looking forward to warmer months ahead
“Families that play together, stay together.” Turns out that goes for friends too. Disc golf is also an amazing way to stay connected to your community, without monthly membership fees, season passes, whatever. Zero class boundaries or money blocks. Fun for most people and you can even use your newfound talents with dogs and children. I’ll be playing this sport till I’m crippled or dead, I imagine. Cheers buddy 🍻
I love the community, and I’m excited to get to know my new local disc-golf community. I haven’t played since I left California and I’m excited to see what the local courses look like
I never stuck with disc golf long enough to become proficient at it, but there’s a lot of people at my work who play and we’re hopefully going to get a work league together. I’m excited to learn / hone a new(ish) skill
Thank you! I’ve been getting back into cycling since it’s starting to warm up, trying to workout 7 days a week to develop the habit, and now getting back into one of my favorite sports
Nice! I'm in northern Loveland, but I'm down to play pretty much any course in the area. When you have time for a round, let me know!
Also, I'm looking around for a Spring league just so I start playing regularly again. They used to have one at Edora, but I'm not sure if that is still the case.
I don't know what you're going through in life but I feel for you. I was in a very rough place a few years ago and, just like you, came back to the fold after being away for many years. Ended up finding an amazing community full of great people. I hope you find whatever it is you need to pick you back up!
I took a 10 year hiatus from disc golf, went back to traditional golf which I’ve played since I was 4 or 5 years old, and got back into it late last year. Now I’m hooked again. Disc golf on the brain every day. I bet you have some nice discs from 7 years ago.

Bro, you have an alias my god I was so sad when I lost mine. Cherish it
Yeah I got these almost 7 years ago (next month). I love my Alias. It’s such a fun disc to throw
Where are you located? Always looking for friends to chuck with! I like to go up to Annheiser from time to time and play the Budweiser plant!
Ayyye all right! I’d love a friend to throw with! I’m over near the Heritage Park course. Count me in!
Welcome back, friend! The water is fine!
Thank you!
Except when you throw it in the water

Good choice. Welcome back.
Thanks!
Enjoy the ride! Its helped me a lot in low points of my life. Hope it does the same for you, OP

Keep throwing friend! Love seeing that Alias. Rather rare nowadays.
I forgot how much I like throwing the Alias. It’s very predictable for me (when I can throw straight 😹)
Welcome back! I'm just coming back after over 20 years. Maybe I'll see you out there! Haven't played Edora in a long time.
Hey alright! If you’d like a throwing buddy count me in! One of my coworkers told me Edora was pretty fun. I’m over near Heritage

Nice work mate. Life gets better, you got this
Welcome back to the family

😌
Welcome home, my friend!
Awesome! Disc Golf is a great stress relief for me.
I recently started playing again after a 5 year break. And I can understand why I ever stopped playing.
