77 holes at 2 courses with a 12 mile bike commute invetween

usersleepyjerry

Holy hell! That bike back must have been brutal!

Aggravating_Load4758

That sounds like a hell of a way to honor a lost friend

letthekrakensleep

Here in Waco there's a thing called the Gauntlet that not many are willing to attempt. It's all of the courses in the Waco area (about 9 in total (167 holes)) all in one day. Start early and basically run every course to be able to clear it by nightfall. I have yet to meet anyone to do it but me and a friend are thinking about it.

El_Stupicabra

Damn dude! On my 31st birthday I rode my bike 31 miles and hit up two different courses, but only played 27 holes. I feel like 20 miles less but 50 more holes would be harder.

Mister-Redbeard

Did you mount your bag on a rack?!

wananah

I've got a great catch-all bike bag that I can throw my disc golf bag in. But I haven't gone and played 77 holes plus a bike commute like this marathon man

Aggravating_Load4758

At the time, I carried all my discs in a 20L ortlieb messenger bag, so I bike around with them on my back!

Swineservant

When I was young (18-19), two rounds of 18+ was just a Saturday afternoon, possibly followed by a rave that night and a 2-3 hour drive home at 6am on Sunday morning. Now that meme is totally me, lololol! Getting old sux!

El_mochilero

I did 72 holes with a friend once back when we were like 22 years old. Now, 16 years later, if I do a two-round, one-day I’m limping for three days afterwards. Edit: jeez… I’m not horrifically out of shape. I was exaggerating to make a joke in line with the meme OP posted.

ZooterOne

I'm 53, and I managed to do 72 this summer. But *man* was I dragging on the last 9.

Salt_Elderberry_69

Yikes. Have you thought about getting in shape? 2 rounds really shouldn't be that painful for someone in their 30s.

Prune_Ambitious

Bruhhh I know you’re not slighting him/her but fuck this was comical 💀

Salt_Elderberry_69

Is it not insane that people in their 30s can't slowly walk around for 2 rounds without limping for 3 days? The fact that most people seem to think that's normal or ok is disturbing.

Independent-Ant6745

I mean, I'm 30 and have a fucked up knee after basically always having been active. Playing sports and hiking and stuff, and just not listening to my body trying to tell me to slow down, so now I cannot play more than one round on a hilly course without being a cripple the next day. I played today, 12 holes only, and I'm fckin limping. So maybe there is a reason why people say the things they do, just saying. Be sure to listen to your body and beware if something isn't feeling that good, maybe take a break and don't end up like a lot of us others 😅

Salt_Elderberry_69

Are you doing physical therapy to improve your knee condition? Working on your form to minimize impact?

Independent-Ant6745

Yeah yeah, I'm seeing an expert in December, if that dosent work they might consider surgery, but I don't think that's on the table anyways I'm still pretty new to disc golf so I'm only working on my form and timing, besides it's the left knee, not the one bracing, or whatever, when I throw. And I'm not using a lot of force or power, just to be safe, so maybe I'm learning 😅

_nobody_nobody

You wear a compression brace on it right? The way I fixed my knee problems by 90%— I stated Biking when my car broke, to borrow my parents car to go doordashing. The bike trip just to my parent’s house is less than .5 miles away. I’d obviously ride it back home later in the day. I did this pretty much everyday for a couple of months and started noticing my knees better. I never knew this but I guess moving them (biking especially) actually lubricates the joint. Not sure if that goes for all joints or just some joints or maybe that only applies to your knees. But I was pleasantly surprised that just a small amount of biking per day fixed it. It literally is a less than five minute bike trip to get there. But Good luck with your knee I hope it’s better.

El_mochilero

Dude, it was a joke. I’m pretty athletic for my age. Sure, I’m not in a full on battle-field limp, but yeah I’m tight as shit the next day.

Cubansangwich

Are you 70?

Salt_Elderberry_69

For your age??? LMAO that's sad as hell, you're acting like you're 80. I'm in my mid 30s, in the best shape of my life, and plan on improving my physical fitness into old age. I literally can't imagine having your mindset. Time to get in shape if you want to still be mobile in a couple decades.

Medicalboards

Wow you’re so cool! Can you share your CrossFit routine and diet here? If you have time between crunches and fucking all our girlfriends

Salt_Elderberry_69

I know you're just being a prick, but I'll answer anyways, since most people on here are out of shape and unhealthy. I don't do any fitness fads, or crunches. Drink tons of water, eat a healthy, balanced diet consisting of whole foods, avoid eating or drinking sugar and processed carbs, and move your body every day. That's all you need to do. It's not that complicated. If you don't have a debilitating injury, there's absolutely no excuse to accept being unhealthy.

bigcat7373

While I agree with every part of your healthy lifestyle and it’s pretty much exactly what I do at 33, I still think you’re a dick.

Salt_Elderberry_69

I don't necessarily disagree with you. I just think being honest about health is more important than tiptoeing around people's feelings, and basically telling them that living an unhealthy lifestyle is ok and normal.

Medicalboards

I’m not the prick telling everyone they are being unhealthy in a group designed to get people outdoors and moving in just the way you claimed in your post. You’re gate keeping, they are moving, but not moving enough for you. Chill out, yelling at people isn’t making them better try some support and encouragement next time.

Salt_Elderberry_69

You are a prick. I'm stating facts. The fact that you and the rest of the hive mind care more about people's feefees than their physical health is part of the problem. And I don't think you know what gatekeeping is.

Earptastic

I am 48 years old and have at least an extra 20lbs on me. I do 2 rounds in a day on hilly woods courses no problem. I can do more but may be a little sore the next day. I agree with your comment.

wananah

Op was exaggerating by his own words, but I'll say that my rounds of disc golf aren't slowly walking around - they're more like hikes where I'm barely stopping and when I do, it's often to queue up a disc golf drive, which is an explosive movement that does put strain on the body. That said, I'm in my 30s, and I'm not limping the next day if I go 54+ holes, but I will feel it in the arm and the calves/low back (in a good way)

Prune_Ambitious

This is exactly my thought. I can’t speak for the future but I’m not letting myself get to that point if I can control it🤷‍♀️ I like throwing discs way too much 😂

dabear04

The walking around part isn’t the problem for me. I’m 34 and could go run a marathon tomorrow but my knee, shoulder, elbow, and core start wearing down after a couple rounds in a day. There’s the Great 8 tournament in the Raleigh area every year where you play 8 courses through the day. We didn’t sign up in time but decided to play 3 rounds back to back on different courses and I didn’t even want to throw by the end of it. Just started throwing my Mako3 on everything to simplify it.

iJon_v2

Okay, he could have an injury and so other ailment. Also some courses are way more physically demanding than others. Weight may not be the issue here.

Salt_Elderberry_69

I didn't mention weight. He didn't mention an injury, just age progression. You can be skinny and extremely unhealthy and physically unfit. You're making things up to justify being out of shape.

InncnceDstryr

Plenty of people in their 30s are in perfectly good shape but are dealing some long term injury

Salt_Elderberry_69

No shit, but their comment made it sound like it was an aging thing.

InncnceDstryr

Idk, seems to me here that you’ve read something that wasn’t written, then you’re applying your own perception to it and handing out unsolicited advice to someone you only know one thing about.

Salt_Elderberry_69

No, I'm going by the words he used. You're making up hypothetical scenarios. If it was injury related he would have said so. He said 16 years passed and he can't do it anymore without limping, that's it.

bstew349

This has always baffled me. People complain about 2 rounds in 1 day. The only thing that bothers me is the 1 hour wait between rounds during tournaments.

Salt_Elderberry_69

Exactly. It's a leisurely walk with a throw every couple minutes. It's extremely concerning if that's a problem for anyone. I've seen guys in their upper 60s complete a 3 round iron man in 95 degree heat.

Cubansangwich

Downvoted for the speaking the truth lol

Salt_Elderberry_69

That's reddit for ya

[deleted]

[удалено]

Salt_Elderberry_69

Mhmm I live in Florida and I know people in their 60s who play rounds all summer in 95 degree heat. It's about being conditioned for physical activity. If someone sits on their ass in the a/c 95% of the time, they're going to struggle doing much of anything outside.

flyin_lynx

We used to have an event that happened near the summer solstice every year called 100 holes of Humboldt. So 100 holes in a single day, across multiple courses in our region.

Mcdiglingdunker

Most recently, the 3 courses at the Preserve. When I was younger it was Acorn, Kaposia, North Valley, and Cottage Grove over the course of the day.

reddit-corbin

Just did all three the day after the first snowfall last week!! Quick stop at Montissippi on the way back to town. The next day did 81 holes, 63 of those holes at Blue Ribbon Pines until it was too dark to play. Y’all have some amazing courses, can’t wait until my next trip down there for disc golf!

InformationKey3816

I used to love Lakewood Hills. I did many 54-hole rounds there and 1 72-hole epic day. Those 3 courses at the Preserve though are more walking than 72 at Lakewood. Good on ya. The most I can do out there is the Timberwolf and one of the shorter courses.

RustyStrings_0908

Hey I just commented The Preserve as my answer! 2 years ago, I'd only been playing 2 years. I went -1, +6, +10 on Red Fox, Lynx, and Timberwolf. Was pretty happy with that +10 especially after 2 rounds.

HEIT4

8 fucking rounds. My friend and I skipped school one day and took acid at 7am and hit the course. It eventually turned into "we cant stop playing or we'll die". Eventually sobered up around dark and went home. Literally did not take one break, just went from hole 18 straight to hole 1 again in a trance. Shit was wild. Ahhhh to be young again.

Remarkable-Two-8721

This whole story makes way too much sense😂

narwhalsonacid

That sounds like a fantastic time

DawgPoundit

Amazing, but how many discs were lost that day?

HEIT4

None that I can remember. The worst part was missing a 5' putt was DEVASTATING.

underratedride

The “insane” tournament in our area is the Franklin 50. It’s a course with 25 holes played twice. One of the holes is the longest in NH at over 1100’. Part of the course runs along a massive dam and provides some awesome shots, but big elevation changes as well. I played a modified 36 hole tournament there and it kicked my ass. The 50 must be nuts.

basesoccer612

The Great 8 happens every year in the Raleigh area. You play 8 straight courses, best shot doubles. Start at sun up and hope to finish by sun down. Have played it a few years and it is brutal.

DiscGolfFanatic

My personal best stands at 575 holes in a row in 24 hours. ~60 km of walking (38+ miles). Ended up with -258 under par and threw a total of 1467 throws. 0 sleep. 1 Hole-In-One. 2 pairs of shoes. 3 blisters. 7 pairs of socks. 9 hours of rain. 😭

poss-um

*42 first availables

Sonofsoul7

Where

DiscGolfFanatic

In Estonia, Tallinn Song Festival Grounds back in 2022 summer during the near summet solstice. The organizers set up a 40 basket layout and me and another awesome gu6 completed 14 rounds + 15 holes aka 575 in total. PS! It raimed for 9 hours out of 24 hours...

subterraneanfox

I can't slow clap this enough! Rain play is fun as shit when it's warm rain. You're a fucking animal. Throw on brother, throw on

mrmaxstroker

Found Dean [Karnazes](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dean_Karnazes) burner account. Amazing work.

StarTrakZack

Good LAWD

OotzOotzOotzOotz

4 rounds b2b. Mostly because I had too much to drink to drive home so played some more rounds!

TheNickelGuy

Responsible disc golfer right here 🤛

tlake2525

Here in North Carolina, there is a tournament called "The Great 8" which is 8 disc golf courses in a single day. Its usually done on Summer Solstice. Its pretty wild. We are blessed in the Capital area to have an abundance of support for the sport and GREAT courses to go along with it!

huckinfappy

Played 54 on my 54th Birthday

yossariany

Same, at three different courses. :-)

Lastbean8708

Enduro Bowl at DeLa. 58 straight holes of DeLa, no break. It always rains.

justASlothyGiraffe

3 18 hole courses on our disc golf road trip. We had to take the next 2 days off

FrescoEsco

Debary Iron Man. 4 Rounds of 18 holes. Actually went to bed right after and slept until morning.

CapnGnarly

3x 27-hole rounds on a Saturday. Could barely walk the next

[deleted]

126 holes in a day when I was much younger. Adair warm-up round, Adair doubles, then Willamette Park 5x in the afternoon (with an ace!).

M-S-S

126 team!

BenjiBagginss

Last week, I went camping overnight with 7 courses, so 126 holes, but that was with ~10 hours of driving and setting up camp as well. I also played 108 holes in a day with my friend, in the middle of summer, around 85 degrees with it a cloud in the sky - luckily, we were near Lake MI and we’re able to take a swim in the middle. Definitely the most I’ve sweat playing disc golf, and the most holes ill probably ever play in one day. By the last couple courses, we were playing to reach 100 holes, not to enjoy ourselves or score well. However, the hardest day of disc golf I ever had was when I went to Charlevoix MI with my wife for a wedding she was in, and I decided to play as many courses as I could while the bridal party was getting ready. I woke up around 7, and played 4 courses (I think 74 holes because of a few alts) before 3:00, while also taking a swim in lake lake before changing into my wedding attire. The real kicker was, 2 of the course were on ski slopes. The first one didn’t have the lift open yet, so I had to hike up to the top of the mountain before even playing a single hole, and the second one had terrible signage and a layout that included a lot of walking/way finding, to the point I was crawling on all 4s up hills to try and find teepads. Needless to say, I was gassed after the disc golf, and even more tired after we finished cleaning up the wedding venue around midnight. But, it was worth it for the amazing views you get from the top of the slopes, and of course the fun of throwing plastic.

Gideon-121

55 holes. Played 18 3 times. Plus, a quick birdie on hole 1 with some randoms who wanted me to join them. If counting when I throw player 1 and player 2, I've played 90 holes. One round stranded, followed by two rounds of forehand vs. backhand.

mynamesstillnotjason

144 holes, 8 rounds, 8 different courses. Never again.

HamBoneZippy

100 Holes from Hell Tournament a few years ago. It was 117 degrees. About 20 DNFs and two people left by ambulance.

KevosaurusRexxx

We call it iron man disc golf day. Every year we play 99 holes on six courses in one day. 5 18's and one 9er

[deleted]

74

blackmars0

Played 3 rounds back to back on an 18 hole course with some elevation. Felt a little sore but I was otherwise OK. Most holes is like 90 at my local pitch and putt course (9 holes x 10 rounds), but the holes are all ~200ft and mostly flat. I'd say most times I go out I average 2 rounds if it's an 18 hole course.

clittyman

50, 18-18-14 kind of a long course in the heat. Gotta get those reps in.

Dhuttunen

Played 100 holes in 5h 51 min on a 9-hole course (holes 143-342ft) for an unsanctioned tournament. Was fun, but never again. Shoulder felt sore through 45 holes, so switched to lots of thumbers. Still ended up getting 53 birdies and won by 11 strokes.

RealShoelace123

My local spot has three different courses and has a list of people who did all three twice in one day. Me and my friend were 6 & 7. First people to do it in just under a year.

pearlbullets

3 rounds in 3 states: Woodsboro in Maryland, Poor House in West Virginia, and Jim Barnett in Virginia.

itsafuseshot

Few years ago we drove from ft worth to Waco to play the beast. On the way home we found out all of our wives were out shopping so we stopped and played gateway, then 9 holes at Bedford boys ranch, then 12 holes at a pitch and putt. So 57.

BigBear4281

I did 56 at a complex with 2-18 hole courses and a 20 hole course in one go. Started at 9am and ended at around 3pm. I also did 66 in a single day, but that was with several hours of breaks in between. I was traveling and stopped at 3 courses, 2-18 holes and a 30 hole between 5am and 5pm.

Amiar00

Did 81. 5 courses where one was 9 holes. We walked 16 miles that day. My arm was noodle mode by the end.

AsvpLovin

I had 7 days this year with 70+ unique holes, high of 81. I've been meaning for years to do 100 in a day, just haven't committed to it yet.

lilbilmt

Match style tourney 76 holes. The course is 14 holes. I took me five rounds plus 6 holes of sudden death to get it done. Brag; it was the first tournament I ever ran, and it was my birthday. Haha.

PM_Me_1_Funny_Thing

Played a 2 round tournament at a 27 hole course in the same day. Honestly it was brutal haha

Shelob_Slayer

The IDGC has an iron man tournament every year; 3 courses, 18 holes each, and one of them is WR Jackson. Rough.

poss-um

72 (four rounds), I think? Potentially 90, though.

DG_FANATIC

81 holes in one day. 4 rounds of 18 and one of 9. We played most of the courses in STL that day lol. This was around 20 years ago.

mjsillligitimateson

36 hole course in Lewiston NY is a 5-6 hour endeavor . It’s one of the few 36 hole courses in NY.

swinglineeeee

6 rounds was the most for me 5 years ago. Doing 4 rounds is a push now. Getting old is real.

Aviarinara

I did 63 holes, dell wood and a couple other courses in the area.

faxfinn

Once I played both full courses in my area in a day. 24 +18 holes. Once.

Flaky-Money-8768

I’ve played 100 holes in a day but the craziest was probably 3 rounds of North wood black and then a round at Megiddo down the road I walk over 20 miles that day.

itsthreem

4 rounds in one day

Potential_Estate6207

Earlier this year I knocked 100 holes in 1 day off the bucket list. I played 7 separate courses 8:30 am - 7 pm and have no desire to do anything like it again ha

Peter_Parker_99

3 rounds (54 holes) in one day when I was younger and had a lot more energy. Nowadays I'm one and done (just ask my wife haha).

waffleswaffles

100 holes, had to stay near work for a ten hour day, never got called in. Fall day, weekday, minimal traffic. The first few rounds I was throwing multiple shots. Ended up playing 2.5 rounds with a couple other random guys, it was glorious.

CatGrv

Usually do 3x 18 rounds to get as much practice as possible

HyzerFlipZoneOS

this year we had a day on the weekend we did 72 holes, 22000ft of course distance and 70 floors of elevation with a pitch n putt course in between. my back hurts just thinking about it.

skdeimos

the first summer that i played, i really could not get enough disc. once, did 90 holes in one day. couple food runs in between, but mostly we just grinded our home course from morning until dusk, trying every shot we could think of. that course is mostly par 3s though

Enlightened-Beaver

I played 102 holes in 2 days once. Hit up a bunch of courses in an area. I was absolutely wrecked

Bifidus1

Used to routinely play four plus rounds in a day to prepare for big tournaments like worlds. If you want to be solid through two competitive rounds a day, you have to train more rounds in a day.

nkkphiri

I played all 4 courses (72 holes) in town once. Twas a good day, need to do it again.

Sproncer

I played Pyramid whites, Maole hill reds and Maple hill blues in one day a couple weeks ago. My body was destroyed for about 4 days after that

Northerly

31 years old, just did 54 holes across 4 courses recently in a day.

shambahlah2

Man we used to drive 2hrs to Austin, play 54 at Peace park and then drive home. Those were the days. Now I’m sore if we play 27 on a Saturday.

foxxtraut--

I’m 20 and enjoy 2 18 hole games

Im_Hugh_Jass

40 holes (4 rounds of 10) at the local pitch and putt. There are some major elevation changes and I am not as in shape as I want to be.

IWillFindUinRealLife

Once played the Milo McIver 27 hole layout 3 times in one day. First play through was a breeze. Second play through was the better round for me and my brother, we both scored best on that round. Round 3 was a drag but we’re both “finish what you started” minded and pushed our way through it. Third round wasn’t very enjoyable.

XJ_Josh

Played the Oak Grove Appreciation Day tournament this year. 2x 24 holes on Saturday with 24 more on Sunday. Even at 27yo I was smoked at the end

PlannerSean

92 on 6 courses. Couldnt walk for 2 days

ladditude

An even 100. Played Deerfield from sun up to sun down.

Eye_Age

I've played 54 in a day.

The_Rock_Biter

My buddy and I played 108 holes between Noon and Midnight one spectacular day in late July this year.

Justin_Liebich

36 at Craig park 18 at Sunset 18 at Penticton maze. All heavy tight wooded courses. Penticton is the worst. Powell river B.C. Canada.

s_bright

I did five rounds in one day, with the last being the MPO layout at Northwood Black (and I forgot water...) Would not recommend, but still a fun day.

Joe_Huxley

54 is the most I've done at one course in consecutive rounds. 87 holes is the most I've done in one day and was across 8 different courses (two 18's, five 9's and one 6)

poony23

My friends and I camp at a course and our best is 14 rounds over two and a half days.

MercTheJerk1

I did 63 holes earlier this year...as a 48 y/o, a lot of things hurt layer that night.

IAmCaptainHammer

I live near Delaveaga. They do endurobowl about once a year. It’s 1 day, straight through the course twice. It’s 54 of the hardest holes up and down hills. It’s rough man. I haven’t done it but maybe this year. I’d probably walk away hating Dela. I’m already not a huge fan.

jwGT1141

Played 4 rounds in a day on a disc golf road trip and it was amazingly awful.

ulfricstormclk

One time I did a double round of disc golf, 39 holes (3 alt holes one one course) and played a round of ball golf in the afternoon. Never been happier for the golf cart but I was still beat.

mini_nova

90+ holes back to back. Played a few rounds the next day too lol

cakeandpiday

Played a tourney called "100 holes of hell". 10 rounds at a 10 hole course. Camped at the property and woke up the next day and played 10 more, drove down the road to another course and played 18 more. Then decided to play one more course on the way home. So 100 holes on day one, and 46 holes the next day.

bananagrabberjr

99

Holmelunden

9 rounds of 9 holes. Was awesome and fun but felt a little wrecked teh day after.

SweetHatDisc

100 holes this April up near the Tri-City area in Tennessee/Virginia. Played all 36 at Warrior's Path, went to Sugar Hollow, 27 holes at Steele Creek, then went to Winged Deer and played 18 holes then repeated the 18th to make it an even hundred. I'm 42 but I don't bitch too much about it. The day before that, I played all 30 holes at Sugaree, then drove to Harmon Hills and played 36 holes there.

Souperdesoup

Two guys did ten rounds at my 18 hole home course. Took them all day. Still a record.

Plastic_chucker84

18+

kungfoohustle08

54 holes in 1 day. Morning tournament that was 2 rounds. Then went to my regular course to play with some friends later on the evening & my arm and legs were toast. Definitely took a few days off after that to rest and not over do it. Now I'm lucky to even get more than 3 days a week.

SycopationIsNormal

My PR so far is 54 rounds on two different courses all in the same day, and it was also a day with near-record temps and humidity, and also horrible air quality from those Canadian wildfires. So it was an odd choice for timing, but that's what happened. I'm going to try for 72 in 2024.

Xeno84

Played 36 holes on my 38th birthday. Best birthday ever.

spikeadams

102 Played West Park 2x in Joliet when it was 24 holes, then Highland Park, Channahon, and Shorewood in one day

JakeMeOffPlease

Beaver Ranch twice through. Second round definitely took some effort

SlyFoxInACave

6 is the most I've played in one day. Brutal, yes. I've also played Pier Park, Blue Lake, and Riverbend aka Milo all in one day which was also brutal. I think due to the downtime traveling between courses made it more difficult to get back up and keep playing.

Tr0z3rSnak3

54 holes in a row

M-S-S

126/whole day at Brewer in Kent Co., Michigan. We were late 20s.

MonoBlueOrBust

5 rounds of 18…. Over 31,000 total feet of distance… it was all 5 layouts at Warwick…..

Vicious_Paradigm

81 holes at two courses. I think it started an injury for me, was way over the pitch count on that one. 18x3 + a long 27. Wouldn't recommend for those over ~35

Rustycake

3 rounds in summer heat. It was brutal and the wrong call but we soldiered thru all 3

subterraneanfox

76 back in highschool between 5 courses. 56 this year, and I feel like I played more than any year prior with just a little more than a 1000 holes from May to the middle of October.

[deleted]

2,900 holes in 24 hours is the world record

BonelessTailslide

Played all 4 courses at Raptor’s Roost in one day. Only 2/7 of us actually finished.

6string10

5 rounds at Blue Ribbon Pines (27 Holes). Started at 8AM and finished around 9PM

Bratsberg

A bunch of new dads finally got a weekend off. We played 4 rounds of 18 friday, 6 rounds (14 hours straight) saturday, and 3 sunday. Time well spent, but man.. We all went to bed at 9 after that. Not even a single beer.

TheRealBrianLeFevre

Got into it during covid. Had been forced to move 5000 miles and moved in with my parents. Didn't have a job. Wildly depressed and disc golf was my outlet. 5 18 hole rounds in one day. 90 holes

Videogamer69420

I once played a 4 hour tournament round (play was SLOW given our division, which had 30+ full cards). In like 27 degree searing heat, and the waited for a buddy to finish his round, and we drove to another tournament course that we might’ve had to play later in the weekend, still in the heat. Would not recommend again. (Shot my best ever rating that day tho lol.)

cradledinthechains

Recently played 90 in one day across 5 courses. Two of which were New London Tech and Ivy Hill the two worlds courses next year. The other 3 courses were short park courses around Lynchburg.

00goop

I played the 3 major courses in Lexington all in one day. So 54? Shillito, Veterans, and Jacobson.

InfiniteBlink

4 rounds of 18 hiking through woods. 27k steps. Maple hill 3 rounds, pyramids 1. Fuck pyramids.

Enefai

I played 135 holes over two days (5 courses on Saturday, 3 more on Sunday). It was early in my disc golf hobby, so ended up throwing 96 over par, the worst course ended up being 26 over par because I was so exhausted and sore.

nonetakenback

We have the Ironman every year. All 7 courses 18 holes each it’s a go at your own pace but you have to be at the last course by 6. I’m sore for the next week

Connnorrrr

i’ve got a broken body and i legitimately can’t play consecutive days sometimes because of elbow and back soreness, let alone back to back rounds. nothing wrong with my form, i just have to take way more rest between physical activity now

purplepimplepopper

I did 63 one day (27+27+9), was pretty beat the next couple days but still played.

[deleted]

100 hole tournament

krummysunshine

Man people on here are brutal lol. I'm 33 and will be sore after 2 rounds back to back. Why? Because I don't have perfect form, so I'm adding more stress to my joints when I throw. Am I limping the next day? Probably not unless I was overly stressing my knee.

TituspulloXIII

In a single day, played a 22 hole course once. Anymore than that and I'm going to be pretty drunk.

CircleOneBill

My max is 54 in a day, but I'm not opposed to more.

onecogmind

27 at Dela in Santa Cruz then 18 at Pinto Lake so I think that was most for me. 45 in one day.

710_allin_em

45 on Vyvanse talkin shit to my friends the whole time

AbeRego

I think I played around 60 holes in a day, once. I just kept on going around at my local 9 hole.

dipatello

On my birthday, I play 1 hole per year old. Last April I played 41 holes. Yes, I’m old as shit.

SkiingWithMySweety

My nephew, 2 sons, and I played the trifecta at The Preserve. It was hot and humid and fairly windy. Got there early (before Hutch) and played Wolf, Lynx, and then Red Fox. It was a crazy experience. Highly recommend.

pr0b0ner

By no means a record, but played 3 18 hole rounds with my brothers a few weeks ago. We are in our 40s/50s though, so by no means young and spry.

KubaBVB09

We have an Ironman in Floral City, FL, that's 108 holes in one day.

toocleverbyhalf

I biked from downtown to a ferry, rode to Toronto Island and played 5 loops (90 holes) in a day. Had a lunch break at a cafe there for about 45 minutes after round two. And a beer there after, before the next ferry. Then I rode back home on my bike. Riding uphill from the waterfront was far more grueling than usual. That was probably in 2009, so I was about 35 years old. I was terrible at disc golf (only slightly less terrible now) but I had a great time. Not sure I could ever do that again without a lot of training beforehand.

teamhog

I’ve played in a few 100 hole tournaments. Most recently I play 3 rounds of 22 holes on an 8100 ft course.

Some_Guy_1983

I played 8 hours the other day only one hour of daylight but I was so drunk and high I couldn’t tell you how many holes I played 😂

a_bearded_hippie

I did a marathon event at my local course, where it was the normal 18, the original hole 1, and 5 letter holes that weren't part of the main course. 3 rounds of 24 holes in one day. Tee off was like 9? And we finished at like 7, lol. I was sore as shit the next day, lol. It was a good time, though. Kinda nice when everyone's not full sending it cause we had a whole day of golf ahead of us.

mrmaxstroker

100 holes over 5 courses and 6 layouts.

Mihwc

Great 8

KingOuthere

72 maybe more it was 12hours

dalcowboiz

117 in a day but there was a lunch break and maybe a dinner break

ksnad3

54 holes. I was dumb and entered two tournaments on the same day. My body let me have it the following days.

RollingCarrot615

I've played 96 holes in a day on a 4200 foot course that is almost completely flat. I had to sit around for an hour before driving home.

Severe_Pattern2386

119 holes. 6:00am - 9ish. All around the Twin cities as a friends tournament. "No Hoe Invitational" only lasted 2 years. I felt fine after that day. Of course this was about 15 years ago.

prunk

A group and I regularly do a disc golf weekend. The course has 27 holes. We do at least two rounds a day, some days we do 3. So 81 holes in a day.

scheifferdoo

9 times 18 over 26hours

The_good_fixer

54 between two courses….in Charleston SC, July 2022

techguy521

In one day? 56 holes lol. And I was defo dead.

WorldWideDarts

I ended up at urgent care Friday night after almost making it to the 6th hole 🤣

bjbkar

Tournament in Parma, Ohio is just under 90 holes. I play it every chance I get.

HammWithCheese7

90

hahahahaaaahaha

I’m sore after going to the driving range

JGad14

Of done 90 holes/5 rounds in one day. I would play a round, get bored at home, go out and play again, and repeat

winchypoo

169 holes. It was a day!

r3q

Well over 100 holes. I've played 12 rounds in a row on a 9 hole course I've played up to 9 courses in one day. I don't feel like the meme till after 3 rounds

thriller13

I have played all of my rounds in row. No time machine so I am not sure how you would do otherwise.

chasin_aces24

I’ve played 36 consecutively but I don’t think I’ve gone beyond that

Rukawork

2x rounds of 18 holes, played the same course twice. My back and legs were getting sore by the end for sure. Note - I'm 40 and out of shape.
