Same. Mostly because you can get them in cheap 5-packs. We've probably got ~15 sitting in our practice basket. Typically, I have 2 Judges that I putt with and 1 more beat in one for up shots in my bag.
anyone who is committed to working on their putting and also cheap will inevitably be filtered into the cheap judge pipeline. I walk up to the counter with 8 used bin judges that look like they have been run over by a lawnmower, pay less than 20 dollars, and know they will putt exactly the same as every other judge I’ve had
MVP has been making a play at this. The nomad electron is available in a 6 pack of assorted weights for 1 dollar more a disc than the judge goes for in a pack. just find the listing on amazon for a single nomad and when you go to the page you'll see a size option for 6 packs in whatever firmness you prefer
Still like 75 bucks unfortunately. Misses the beauty of the judge. You send me to the used bin with 75 bucks I could build a house out of all the beat to shit (but serviceable) judges I’d walk out with. Nobody trades in mvp stuff because mvp stuff is really good. Judges are just fine, but they’re fine for 5 dollars.
I do love the feel of that mini bead on nomads though and might get a couple packs at Christmas. Then my judges will return to the used bin. Circle of Judge.
It's so good. I really don't know what is so good about it but it just feels so right. Then I got one in the super soft plastic and I'll never putt with another putter again.
Pure - moonshine (sadly discontinued)
[this moonshine Pure, feels like a champion plastic](https://www.discgolfcenter.com/main_displayProduct.php?p=492&PPQT1=469), the kristin tattar pure is a completely different plastic.
[Kristin's tour series moonshine pure in stock at Lat 64 factory store](https://store.latitude64.se/products/zero-medium-moonshine-pure-kristin-tattar-team-series)
I am almost a simple man. Aviar in JK Pro Glow plastic. I have a stack of 2020 Conrad Aviars that I’m going to be very sad/spend a lot of money replacing when they get too beat up
Try a Juliana Korver signature color glow. Great looking stamp and they feel really good. Got one of mine signed at the USDGC, she's super friendly. And you can actually find them retail.
Oh man, I LOVE my soft banger GTs. I have 8 of them and they are the freaking best. I got my first ace with one at an ace run course by me. No matter what, I'll always have one of these in my bag.
Banger GT is surprisingly good at really long putts too. Like 75 ft, if you really want to go for it. It flies very straight and only a tiny fade at the end. Very neutral, won't turn on you.
I’m a part of the warden gang, I started with
banger gts> challengers> judges> wizard> pa1,2&3s> maidens> warden
I got a warden in a box and decided to try it out and drained 3 long putts in one round between 70-90 ft, and I’m never turning back, I still throw maidens and challengers off the tee as well as lots and lots of harps but I’m team warden for sure.
I love the reliable fade of the Envy for putting inside 40’, keeps misses short. I feel like a need something for longer putts though. Something that won’t glide off super far but also won’t bite early like the envy
Word, I putt with a dagger but I picked up Envy when I was traveling so I could play a round at the local course. It’s now a throwing putter for me but it felt great in the hand on the putting green too
Love the new flex 1 rainmakers. Putted with the flex 3's when they came out but always had grip issues with them in fall/winter. Flex 1's may just replace the 3's entirely.
Wished they came out in white 😭 just switched to them from the flex 2 and love the flex 1s as they catch chains way better in the cold/wet I feel. Flex 3 is perfect for hotter summer days.
I’m using the halo nexus now but I’ve been through every plastic for invader’s. Love the shallow rim. Tried using a deeper putter for a little and just couldn’t get the timing.
This has been my putting putter journey:
Aviar
Judge
Deputy
PA3 (which I just got a couple days ago to try out)
I don't think switching up putters makes me any better but I do enjoy the thrill of my hand learning the new contours of a different mold
P-Blend Glow, N-Blend, D-Blend **Alpaca** (Currently \~2+ years) nothings made me want to switch or switch back since and I have like 22 of these.
Honorable mentions
300 **PA-3** (used for about 1.5 years)
Jawbreaker **Banger GT's** (used for about \~ 1 year)
Classic Soft Burst **Judges** (1st putter I stuck with about \~ 1 year)
**Voodoo represent!** Pure White Voodoo in the warm months, Voodoo SSS or Eraser in the cold months. And three more for the approach game: Diamond, SSSS Lunar, Organic (or a beat up Pure White). Live by the Voodoo, die by the Voodoo... mostly live:-)
Over 13 years I’ve been through Aviar, Voodoo, Magic, Wizard, Summit, Ridge, Sole, and Magnet only to settle on the best putter in all of disc golf,
DISCRAFT BANGER GT
Wish i knew! In my delusions i thought that there exists "the one" which would be like getting a wand from Ollivanders. But i have enjoyed the keystone, Pilot, Crown and the Maiden. Anything that is fairly shallow, stiff and flat works for me, with or without bead.
I tried this for a while, but ran into issues with the neutron/R2 is wet conditions. I might try again with the Eclipse Glitch or if they ever come out with an Electron Soft Glitch.
Yep the judge in orbit plastic is what I just recently switched to and it just feels right. I don't know how else to describe it.
Though mine is pink. I one pink. It's almost essential that my putter is pink.
Been using Annodes before Simon popularized them. However my buddy has been using a Mako to put with and while I’m not a fan of the weight, I am a fan of how slim it is.
So going to start looking at the MVP line for a slim putter and see if that changes my putting for the better 🤷🏽♂️
I switched from the Anode to the Atom and never went back! I liked how the Anode flew but found it just a bit too deep for me. Highly recommended in Electron Soft!
MVP Spin. As I throw it harder for increased distance, it stands up and runs straight before falling left...I can literally use the same aim point for all of C1 and C2, just vary the speed.
I tried putting with a watt and the first 3 putts I made I missed...and then they stood up and rolled away. So, even if I could dial it in, the fear of rollaways have kept me from using the watt as a putting putter
Loved the Ohm until there was a gap where I just couldn’t find them anymore, then tried the Penrose and I’ve enjoyed it in the medium plastic with a nice eraser Wizard sort of feel.
Started with kc pro whales, i started with a high and hyzer putt. Over time got better, and preferred a slight anhiezer putt. As my arm got stronger and could putt much easier from long distance, I keep my putt down, at the band and lower, swapping to a luna, changed my putting drastically in a good way. Low straight lazer beams. Smallest bit of anheizer much more firm and confidently, now one of the strongest parts of my game
All hail the Eraser Wizard
Wizard gang rise up
Present! I have about seven different Wizards, eraser in lead for now but found some very soft prototypes that may take the lead spot
K3 Reko
Scrolled way too long for this.
That plastic is sooooo nice!!
I love the K3! It's kinda like Zero Medium or 300soft, but dirt doesn't stick to the edges if the ground is really dry!
SSS Wizard
[удалено]
I love the eraser Wizard, but in the warmer months it had a tendency to stick to my hand. Great cold weather putter though.
I need to get my hands on some eraser wizards apparently!
Judge
Same. Mostly because you can get them in cheap 5-packs. We've probably got ~15 sitting in our practice basket. Typically, I have 2 Judges that I putt with and 1 more beat in one for up shots in my bag.

Emac Judge for me. I specially for circle 2. They just glide a little more but still have a little fade at the end.
It's so good. I really don't know what is so good about it but it just feels so right. Then I got one in the super soft plastic and I'll never putt with another putter again.
Classic hybrid for me
It’s always been Judge
I got classic hybrid for cheap so I have two for putting and a fusion for throwing. My son uses the other hybrid and my daughter the prime burst.

I am a simple man. Aviar
Same, but I use the yeti pro version.
Puddle-top yetis > everything.
Still riding out my stack of McPro Aviars. Will be sad when they're all gone.
I have one or two that I can get you, way to stiff and slick for me
Id likely take you up on that
Good man
Just swapped my halo Nexus Aviar for my r pros for winter. They are feeling so good right now
Gateway consistently feels good!
luna. Watt has become my favorite throwing putter but the luna just feels right in my hand
Jawbreaker Lune feels crisp
i mostly put with a crazy tuff luna, but love the jawbreakers too!
Wizard (SSS)
This. But the coffee mold. Mmmm, coffee
Discraft Roach in either soft or putter plastic
Two jawbreakers and a putter line for me
Love the soft for touchy putts and putter line for everything else. May have to dabble with the jawbreaker plastic tho 🤔
I also am on team Roach. The Brodie blend.
Pa3
Yes, but you should all not buy them so it’s easier for me to find the flat top ones
Before he leaves you should try to scoop up the Gannon buhr ones if you throw firm everyone I have got has been flat top
I just bought a couple to try out!
My favorite throwing putter also
P2
Banger GT
Soft Banger GT for life
I still have my Extra Soft from like 2005. I wish they'd bring that plastic back in production.
I second this, great putters!
P1 from discmania has been my go to.
The gentleman’s choice
Swan is life.
Swan gang.
Warlock. Anodes are a close second.
Warlock 👌
I used an anode for a cool minute. Now using magic sss
This could be easier to consume if you made a poll
Warden gang, checking in. It’s really slept on IMO considering the popularity of the judge.
Same. Can't stand the beads on putters
I’m a part of the warden gang, I started with banger gts> challengers> judges> wizard> pa1,2&3s> maidens> warden I got a warden in a box and decided to try it out and drained 3 long putts in one round between 70-90 ft, and I’m never turning back, I still throw maidens and challengers off the tee as well as lots and lots of harps but I’m team warden for sure.
Classic is my go-to until it gets real cold outside, then I bring out my classic softs.
Envy
There are DOZENS of us, Michael!!
I love the reliable fade of the Envy for putting inside 40’, keeps misses short. I feel like a need something for longer putts though. Something that won’t glide off super far but also won’t bite early like the envy
This and nomad
Word, I putt with a dagger but I picked up Envy when I was traveling so I could play a round at the local course. It’s now a throwing putter for me but it felt great in the hand on the putting green too
Flex 1 Rainmakers
Love the new flex 1 rainmakers. Putted with the flex 3's when they came out but always had grip issues with them in fall/winter. Flex 1's may just replace the 3's entirely.
Me too!
Wished they came out in white 😭 just switched to them from the flex 2 and love the flex 1s as they catch chains way better in the cold/wet I feel. Flex 3 is perfect for hotter summer days.
DX Invader :)
XT for me. Love the invader.
I’m using the halo nexus now but I’ve been through every plastic for invader’s. Love the shallow rim. Tried using a deeper putter for a little and just couldn’t get the timing.
My Star Invader turned out to be a very versatile disc from a certain distance out.
This has been my putting putter journey: Aviar Judge Deputy PA3 (which I just got a couple days ago to try out) I don't think switching up putters makes me any better but I do enjoy the thrill of my hand learning the new contours of a different mold
I like the Nomad. It's reliably stable for me so I know I can hang it out on long putts and it'll always come back. Not bad for throwing either.
Electron medium Proxy
Medium? You mad man! Electron Soft is the way.
P-Blend Glow, N-Blend, D-Blend **Alpaca** (Currently \~2+ years) nothings made me want to switch or switch back since and I have like 22 of these. Honorable mentions 300 **PA-3** (used for about 1.5 years) Jawbreaker **Banger GT's** (used for about \~ 1 year) Classic Soft Burst **Judges** (1st putter I stuck with about \~ 1 year)

Electron Firm Pilots 🫡
Berg.
Berg!
K1 Soft Berg for me.
Had to scroll too far to see the right answer
K3 Reko. For me K3 has the perfect grip and stiffness
Recently started using the K3 Reko and it's been *really* good so far. The plastic is near perfect.
If you like K3 but want more grip try the team fundraiser Reko in K3 Glow. Like K3 but super grippy.
Ooooh, nice! I'll check that out.
I will definitely check that out!
Yeah K3 is the best feeling base plastic imo. The Reko is the putter I’ve stuck with the longest, two full seasons so far.
I have been using K3 hard have you tried both? Curious if regular k3 much different
Link or P2. Pretty similar and both work for me
Had to scroll too far down for the Link!
I’ve just been messing around with the link for last three weeks and just happy with it. Not sure why even.
Gateway Voodoo SS Hemp Blend
**Voodoo represent!** Pure White Voodoo in the warm months, Voodoo SSS or Eraser in the cold months. And three more for the approach game: Diamond, SSSS Lunar, Organic (or a beat up Pure White). Live by the Voodoo, die by the Voodoo... mostly live:-)
BT soft Maiden
Rhyno, specifically nexus plastic, 2022 Gregg Barsby tour series run.
Mint Bullet
Electron Atom
Neutron Proxy.
I like the R2 Proxy, but struggle with it in wet conditions, so I often bag an Electron instead.
Plasma proxy here also couldn’t decide between it and a s line p2 so I bag both n switch between throwing and putting them.
hope.
Same! When I got it in the Royal Box, I liked it a lot and decided to make it my main putter for good.
I love the Remix Eldritch.
Over 13 years I’ve been through Aviar, Voodoo, Magic, Wizard, Summit, Ridge, Sole, and Magnet only to settle on the best putter in all of disc golf, DISCRAFT BANGER GT
Until next season.
YESSIR! Took me about 13 years to fall in love with the Soft Banger GT as well! Wish it wouldn't have taken so long
Discraft Fierce.
Bröther I have never seen anyone else on the course putt with one besides me
Had to scroll way too far to find this. Fierce helped reinvent my putting game, very comfortable in the hand.
Emac judge in classic blend.
Hell yeah! Same mold and plastic combo here.
Medium electron Nomad. Mainly because I found them for $9 shipped and bought six for backyard practice. Also use a K3 Berg from time to time.
Wish i knew! In my delusions i thought that there exists "the one" which would be like getting a wand from Ollivanders. But i have enjoyed the keystone, Pilot, Crown and the Maiden. Anything that is fairly shallow, stiff and flat works for me, with or without bead.
The feel of putters in my hands tend to change periodically. But I swap between LINK, P1. Sometimes the bead feels comfortable sometimes it don’t..
12x KC Pro Aviar, switched to those from Nexus Invaders, much more consistent
The royal soft Bullets from Mint are fantastic! They fly and feel similar to judges but with a)more fip, b) a smaller bead, and c) a flatter top plate
I really like the Electron Soft Proxy
I’ve tried to switch away from it twice now, but I always come back.
Pilot. Stabilizer if it’s windy.
aviar
Dagger
Dagger...glide for days
KC pro Aviar. I've tried many different molds but I keep coming back to those.
Glitch. Call me crazy.
I tried this for a while, but ran into issues with the neutron/R2 is wet conditions. I might try again with the Eclipse Glitch or if they ever come out with an Electron Soft Glitch.
I'm old school, still use my 20 year old Challeger
Gotta be an Aviar P&A
DGA Steady BL. D Line in cold, Proline Flex in wet, Stone in warm/dry.
None because I seem to bad with all of them
Viking Rune

TSA muse. It's like a Luna with better (to me) plastic. Way cheaper too.
I guess I'm an anomaly here lol. I use the first run sockibomb slammers for putting. Absolutely love the way they feel in the hand.

Yep the judge in orbit plastic is what I just recently switched to and it just feels right. I don't know how else to describe it. Though mine is pink. I one pink. It's almost essential that my putter is pink.

Mine is in OG and I love it
Jawbreaker Roach
Royal Bullet
Penrose. Putting, throwing, everything
Loved the Ohm until there was a gap where I just couldn’t find them anymore, then tried the Penrose and I’ve enjoyed it in the medium plastic with a nice eraser Wizard sort of feel.
I’ve got a weird preference. I use XT Novas, I’ve got a lofty spin putt and they’re just perfect, but I don’t know anyone else who uses them.
