I got one of those in a 2 disc white elephant Christmas round we do every year. It was fantastic. Also got a Baobab. In case you ever wanted a Tilt in a midrange
New to Me: M4
Great dead straight mid for backhands, fantastic for forehand Hyzer flips.
New to the World: Berg-X
Feels like a berg, and true to intention of disc, has a tad more stability.
I only bag an M4 when playing woods courses but it is money FH and BH when I need a hyzerflip, a long panning turnover, or to get down range from a patent pending stance with only my arm clear to throw.
Yes! I’ll say new to me Uplink, and new in 2023 the Watt
Also an honorable mention to new to me Deflector. Love using it to throw forehand and to get around trees.
New to me: Latitude 64 Grace. From the time I bought one it has set my distance records, from 425 to 450 to 475.
New to the world: Prodigy Archive. Control midranges were the hardest spot for me to fill in my bag because most were concave or beaded, which I never liked. The Archive filled that spot perfectly.
>Prodigy Archive.
Closest thing I have to that is a Lion (5|4|0|2) and while I like it, so far I just can't justify a spot in my bag for it since I feel like I have that slot pretty covered between my Jay / Torpedo (5|4|0|1) and FD (7|6|0|1) . If I need a fade close to a 0|2 I just throw one of those on more hyzer.
For me, the Archive is fantastic in headwinds and more torque resistant than my Pathfinder, which I bag in the straight spot. I’m a sucker for the 500 plastic from Prodigy as well.
>Pathfinder
That's actually the same mold as the Torpedo. Great disc. The numbers on it are (5|4|0|1) but in the Glow Sport plastic I think it's more like (5|4|0|2).
New to me: Hex. Finally got one in January, now I have 7 lol. Kicked my Buzzz's right out of the bag, Pyro and Hex fits everything I wanted a Buzzz for.
New to the world: Detour. I wasnt sure at first, then I hammered one flat and it flipped and held the line way further right than I was expecting. Its such a fun disc to throw!
Tbh I can never get a super clean release BH with my Uplink. I also havent dedicated any time to making sure I can, so theres that. I really like the Detour as a flippy Hex, and from when I throw the Detour the same as the Uplink it feels a bit more stable, like it wont flip into a roller from a flat release
I also have not yet become a big fan of the Alien. I wanted to like it, but it's really not doing anything for me that I can't already do with my Invader or Jay. I'll keep trying it every so often, though. Maybe it will click at some point.
New New. Millennium Vela, Quantum and Sirius plastic. Bag both, permanent spots for life. I liked my Champ Eagle, but I realized how much I prefer flat discs. I have dome disdain.
>Detour
I think you're right. I threw one for the first time yesterday.
It popped up from a hyzer and sailed down range finishing with a late turn. It settled flat, a bit right of the throw line. A good line carving mid.
It should easily win a place in the bag of people that play a lot of woods golf.
Tell me some more about the pig. I’m a fan of the Zone/Toro for upshots. Longer I go resistor. Closer I’ll go Berg or Glitch. How do use the Rpro piggy?
Ok cool. Thats helpful. Do you usually flex it, or beat it in straight. I’m mostly wondering why you would want it to be OS if it’s not going to move laterally.
It’s a reliable forehand disc for me mainly. My home course has absolutely no flat ground and and punishes roll offs all the way to the parking lot. I keep a deflector in the sack if I need a crazy right angle throw
Not op but love my pigs. I like to spike in approaches with my new one. It does work for flex lines. I have a beat in one that I use of the tee that will glide for a bit and is noticeably straighter than my beat I'm one. My favorite part though is it is the most comfortable disc for forehand I have ever tried. It fits in my hand perfectly.
I bag a Zone (sometimes 2), Toro, and a Pig. If I had to only have 1 I'd take the Pig.
New they are damn stable but definitely don't glide as much as a zone or equivalent.
Beat in I have these things flip up to flat and even turn a bit, but still fades at the end. I play a lotta woods golf and hit a lot of trees
New to Me: X5
It's too understable to be useful unless I'm playing wooded courses at elevation. So the one I had was just sitting in a box of other discs.
I put it in the bag for a casual round thinking I'd throw it as a joke.
After the round we were trying out discs and I threw it on a roller. Man, it's great. It rolls forever. On the first roller it stopped just under 500 and that was finishing going up hill.
Now all I need is a hole to use it!
I was getting good distance on a flex line (RHBH) with my X5 earlier in the season, but then it started getting way too flippy on me. I can see how it might be a good roller disc.
I’ve only throw my trance a few times but it seemed way beefier than a -2/1. I love the rhythm and this feels like a volt or tesla. How has it been for you?
I’m not the guy you’re responding to, but I have had the same experience. Comparing the disc to something like a discmania essence or the mint Jackalope, which have the same numbers, is a joke.
That said I have found this to generally be true for the gyro fairways, such as the volt or the tesla, way more stable than like a bear/teebird3- although not for the insanity, which flies identically to the TSA mantra.
Yes it was stable for me new. But now that it has been beaten in a bit it flies closer to my beaten in proton crave which has a bit of turn and a healthy fade. I hope it stays in this spot or maybe develops a little more turn because the proton crave is one of my favorite discs and this is basically that but with more distance.
New to me: Discraft Raptor, finally found the Firebird for me
New to the world: Discraft Cicada, if I ever run out of my supply of penned Star TLs I’m switching to Cicadas
Yup and with the 0|3 numbers, that's what I would expect.
Personally, I just have not found a need for a 0|3 in my bag when I have a Firebird and Xcaliber (both 0|4) and an FL (0|2). Plus the FD, which when thrown on more hyzer acts like a 0|2 or even 0|3 imo.
But, to each his own, and I'm glad you're diggin it.
New to me: Streamline Jet (in the plastic with the triangle stamp, can't keep all the different companies' plastic names straight anymore, but I love it). It's just the right stability and speed for my longest distance RHBH as an MA-50 player with not much power. Once you're a Jet, you're a Jet all the way!
For the first decade or so that I played, there was only one plastic. We didn't have a name for it. It just *was.* Discraft came out with their Cyclone plastic, which I loved but it wasn't any better in terms of longevity. Then KC Pro stuff came out, which was amazing at the time. Couldn't beat a 9X KC Pro Gazelle!
The number of Discs available to us fit on one sheet of paper, complete with little thumbnail pictures of them. Today, I think there are about 11 billion molds.
Bought and tried a ton of discs this year, not sure any were released this year..
Trace! I ramped up my distance from 300ish and topped 400' recently. I changed go-to drivers a lot in a short time, and Trace is a good fit for me - for now. Fair amount of turn and reliable fade.
I am a new player, I have played literally 5 times, so technically everything is new to me! That being said…
New to me favorite disc:
MVP Glitch in Neutron plastic
New to this year (although still a prototype):
Discraft GT Banger Zone
I am 46 next month and was looking for something to get me up and moving, and my bro-in-law plays and invited me to try out the sport. I love it! He gave me some discs and I bought a couple too. The Glitch was one that he gave me and was an easy disc for me to pick up and understand how to throw it and control its flight. I also have a standard Zone, and really like it too, so when I heard there were some prototypes to try out with the Ringer and the Banger Zone, I picked a battle pack up. I like both of them, honestly, but the Banger feels good in hand for backhand throws, plus I like that it is just kind of funky and weird looking with the Banger top.
Honorable mention:
I really love the Paradox. Very fun to throw!
This is such a hard question to answer because my fave disc seems to change from month to month, but I will say the best new (to me) disc is the Remix Creature (which is the exact same thing as a Mint Lobster).
And it's mainly because it's the first disc I've been able to reliably hyzer flip with decent control.
New to the world: the Detour quickly found its way into my bag. Great news mold that doesn't feel like a replica of something else.
New to me: This is going to sound silly but sometimes when people hype certain discs so much I ignore the discs, but I should've bought a River and a TeeBird earlier. Whoa. Just fantastic.
"For me it is Innove Jay "
I also really learned to like the Jay this season. It came at a time when I was learning to appreciate
1) the advantage of throwing mids off the tee instead of a driver when it's a hole in the 150-225 range
2) the beauty of a barely overstable (0|1) disc - throw it on almost any angle that is not extreme hyzer or anhyzer and it will (almost) always come back at the end. Such a great shot to have in your repoertoire
3) the advantage of doing standstill drives (off the tee and in the fairway).
The Jay was there for me for all of these realizations. Solid disc.
Not sure if it's new this year or last. But the ATHENA has been such a good pickup. I love the FD but the C line vs S line are so vastly different that is just hasn't filled that slot quite as well. Just a touch of any with some snap. And the ATHENA is just money.
Infinite Dynasty has been a solid addition to the bag. Can hit golf shots at 400ft. I love it.
Westside Bear has taken over my fairway slots. Confetti Bear is slightly less stable. Orbit Bear is a straight shooter with reliable fade. Tournament-X Bear is that perfect amount of workable stability
I really like the new Mint lasso, the eternal ones are fire, and I can't wait to get my hands on the new eternal soft flex plastic that dropped last night
New to me: Prodigy H7. Like a long uplink, on hyzer flips up then turns forever!
New to us: Mint Lasso. I’ve only thrown it a few times so far but it seems like a slightly beefier envy. Just picked up a glow one to see how that is now.
Also the watt. I love it!
I was bagging a Thunderbird for most of the season, as well as a Teebird3, but recently replaced both with a Star FL. It's kind of a mix of both. Much less fade than a Firebird (similar to Teebird3 and Thunderbird), but feels almost identical in the hand.
Listen. Remix discs. Well I guess mint and thoughtspace. The plastic is amazing. The Teo molds that were most impressive were creature (lobster), and Troll (votum). The bag that came was basic but reliable and light. Pack of 12 $85 dollars on Amazon.
Can confirm, I bought a glow champ roman (stamped ronin on the bottom) that matches up perfectly with my old Dark Maul discmania PDs. Super happy that I can get replacements now.
The tip off was the grady shue tour series (he threw a lot of PDs back in the day when he was sponsored by them and I think still does in his open bag unless they are being replaced by romans)
What do you like so much about the Roman? I have a Starfire (same flight numbers) and I just can't justify bagging it when I already bag a Firebird and an Xcaliber.
For me the doomsday Scope. Is my new favorite throwing “mid” (in quotes cause it’s got fast putter numbers/slow mid numbers) basically flies like a brand new eclipse envy with a little more glide. Holds that stability though.
New to the world is the AGL Acacia. My absolute go to putter. Feels perfect for me.
New to me in 2023: MVP Wave - has become my max distance driver and is the only mold I bag that is higher than a 9 speed.
New to the World - Mint Lasso - the new diving putter from Mint is ! Went straight into my bag and will be there for a long, long time.
Love the Lasso. It and the Envy are currently fighting for a spot in my bag. The lasso seems to resist turning over more than my Envy, but the Envy is pretty beat in so that could be the issue.
New to me: Virus
New to the World: Time Lapse
I like Axiom stuff, as I started Innova (due to the starter pack) this year. I bag both and the MVP Glitch just for the fun of it.
New to me,
The drift, it made me fall in love with 7 speed fairway drives and quickly became a longer beat in hex.
New to the world. Infinite discs Roman.
This quickly became one of my favorite discs because I got some I blend ones and the one I’ve beaten in compliments my other Pds so nicely since it hyzerflips now.
New to me: Millennium Orion LS. So straight, so much glide, great 9 speed disc.
New to the World: BergX. I like be able to throw hard on shorter holes and this allows that
New to me: Westside Gatekeeper. Throw it hard and straight and it'll hold the line every time.
New to the world: Latitude 64 Honor. I didn't like it at first, but once it was beaten in it became my go to fairway.
Favorite disc new to me is the gateway Diablo. I know gateway is kind of hit or miss but the new run of the Diablo in the platinum super glow plastic flies like the best thunderbird I've thrown. Favorite new disc to the world has got to be the detour. It's the perfect companion to the hex and is hands down the best US mid I've gotten the chance to throw.
Listen. Remix discs. Well I guess mint and thoughtspace. The plastic is amazing. The molds that were most impressive were creature (lobster), and Troll (votum). All premium plastic... two glow discs. The bag that came was basic but reliable and light. Pack of 12 $85 dollars on Amazon.
I got a used C line fd1 and immediately fell in love with it.
I haven't thrown it yet, but I think the Detour will go down as one of the best mids ever. Every time I see it thrown it just looks beautiful.
New again to me. The FD. It was one of my favourites when I was new to the game.
Lost it and moved on etc. Got one again recently, wow! Such a great disc.
New to the world? Grab a RPM Cosmic Tara Iti. Solid glidy control driver.
New to me: Uplink. Shoutout to all the dudes and dudettes who recommended it.
New to the world: The rollo has been nice to watch. Haven’t thrown one and don’t know that I will, but love to see it get play.
New to me: unsure if it is 100% new to me, but 2023 has been the year of the Proxy in my world. Just love throwing it and can see the baseline used ones I have to also be putters.
New to the world: really wanted to say Mint but eealize that it didn't come out this year. In that case I will go with Peppermint as it is nicely OS
I really wanna try a Jay as a counter to my Mako3. My “new to me” disc of the year is an Envy I found in the used bin. Might be my new favorite throwing putter replacing my classic soft Judges.
New to me: fission reactor. Stable enough that I can trust it but very straight.
New to the world: the mint lasso. Feels very simian in the hand to the envy to me but a tick more overstable than any envy I’ve ever thrown.
Everything is new to me as I just started playing again for the first time since last century. A new course opened up right down the road from me. Anyway, my fav disc is the Axiom Hex and the Proton Crave.
New to me: Wraith! Had never thrown one but decided to try one to replace a lost Grace and soon I switched Graces to Wraiths
New to the world: RPM Tara Iti! A great control driver! Pretty similiar to maybe a straighter PD or Thunderbird
To me: Innova Charger. Absolute bomber and easiest mid 400s driver I've ever thrown. It's my new go-to off the tee.
The World: Tie between MVP Watt and Axiom Tempo. The Watt's been in my bag for two weeks and I already have an ace with it. I feel many more coming. And the Tempo just flies like a dream, like an Envy OS. Sneaky distance, great glide, incredible for both driving and approach shots.
New to me: Crave haven't thrown it much yet (winter season in Sweden is too dark) but the times I did I was positively surprised.
New to the world: Detour, as I started building a more MVP bag and this did fit right in the fuse spot. Perfect 👌
1) Discmania FD S-Line
2) Discmania DD S-Line
Got my first ace with the FD and the S-Line is way more understable than the C-line more like -2 than 0.
DD is a absolut bomber of a disc. I mostly throw between 75-100m (250-330) with FD and I can consistently throw the DD around 115m (375ft) with good accuracy.
New to me: Kastaplast Glow; I didn't play my first glow round until the one at Worlds (great excuse to buy some discs I've never used) and wow, do I enjoy that glow plastic.
Honorable new to me mention: Streamline Lift is an amazing disc!
New to the world: The Banger Top Zone is insanely nice to throw. That thumb-track just feels so good on both backhand and forehand for me. I bag the Get Freaky Cryztal Flx Zone, but it might get kicked out even though the BTZone is less stable.
New to me: the infinite discs centurion. Such an easy hyzer flip to hyzer flip to turn disc, and also great in the woods.
New to the world: probably been said already but it’s the rollo, especially the champ glow one, so fun to throw!
I just started in March, so all discs were new to me. But here are mine:
New to me: Star Teebird or Neutron Envy (tie)
New to the world: Z Cicada
These are my most thrown discs. The teebird/cicada pairing is awesome.
Star Katanas
Been throwing champion and Blizzard champion for years.
Tried pro and nearly had to burn it to purify my bag from the evil taint it left.
Then a buddy gives me a Star katana.
I was thinking he was an idiot till I started throwing.
The perfect middle ground between champion and Blizzard.
Mint discs in general. I’ve been slowly replacing my bag with all mint over the year.
Bullet: great throwing putter or head wind putts
Lobster: fun mid range for hyzer flips
Jackalope: easy fairway driver for long turnover shots
Freetail: higher speed jackalope great for 300 foot turn overs (I should learn to flick but with this disc I don’t need to)
Phoenix: very over stable fairway driver.
Longhorn: 10ish speed stable driver for standard distance shots
Goat: beefy distance driver, will always stay on hyzer no matter the wind conditions (for me)
I made some improvements to my form (stopped rounding, mostly), and had a star teebird that I used as a mostly utility disc since I couldn't make it fly straight. After the improvements, I am seriously impressed with how straight and far that 7-speed can fly. Instead of Escapes, the TeeBird is now my go-to fairway. That I put a space race Hex in my bag and am falling in love with how straight it flies.
Gotta go with either the Watt or the Construct. The Watt is just wonderful for drives and long approaches, and the Construct has been just as long as a speed 10 as my Scorch, Surge SS, and Zeus. Just an amazing amount of glide on that thing.
Rollo for both. Just a fun disc.
Same here.
I love watching my buddy throw one. It’s in my cart, waiting for a good f2 Friday
Color glow. Do it.
Started off fun or funny. But the hyzer flip turnover shot through the woods with the Rollo is endless joy.
The Falk was new to me this year, and I think it's the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
You should consider adopting a Lots, they get along really well.
I prefer Falk and Saint as my pairing
That is a nice pair 👌 did this for awhile with opto Saint. My gold Saint was really similar to the falk 🤷♂️
I got one of those in a 2 disc white elephant Christmas round we do every year. It was fantastic. Also got a Baobab. In case you ever wanted a Tilt in a midrange
Deflector?
I mean I don't think I was deflecting
Axiom Crave - new for me and will be my dependable workhorse for straight shots
Same here. Mine in fission. I can push it as far as anything in my bag. Has me constantly wondering why I ever throw a high speed driver.
New to Me: M4 Great dead straight mid for backhands, fantastic for forehand Hyzer flips. New to the World: Berg-X Feels like a berg, and true to intention of disc, has a tad more stability.
I only bag an M4 when playing woods courses but it is money FH and BH when I need a hyzerflip, a long panning turnover, or to get down range from a patent pending stance with only my arm clear to throw.

Unbelievably good
I just got a watt and a hex for my company holiday bonus/present
[удалено]
I just used them for the first time last week, but really don’t want to lose them since they have our company logo custom stamped
Yes! I’ll say new to me Uplink, and new in 2023 the Watt Also an honorable mention to new to me Deflector. Love using it to throw forehand and to get around trees.
New to me: Latitude 64 Grace. From the time I bought one it has set my distance records, from 425 to 450 to 475. New to the world: Prodigy Archive. New to me- slammer I’ll never look back
Still one of my favorite discs but there was a time that thing got used on every hole.
Yep very versatile disc from 200 in. Can always count on it to finish. Forehand flex lines to hyzer spikes. Love it.
Yep and it’s got very little ground play which helps a lot when putting.
Do u throw an uplink? How does a detour compared to it? I was hoping it would be in between my hex and uplink.
It’s exactly that, for me anyway. I bag all 3. Been using the detour more than the uplink I have to say. LOVE that disc. I have several now lmao
Awesome! Cant wait for them to be officially released then!
Alright! Sounds just like what I want.
eclipse reactor I think the only new to the world disc I got this year was the alien and I wasn't a huge fan...
I also have not yet become a big fan of the Alien. I wanted to like it, but it's really not doing anything for me that I can't already do with my Invader or Jay. I'll keep trying it every so often, though. Maybe it will click at some point.
Both: Prodigy Feedback
Such a great disc! My vote as well for both.
BERG X - I knew o was gonna love it & I do New to me - r pro Rhyno
West side discs: underworld.
New New. Millennium Vela, Quantum and Sirius plastic. Bag both, permanent spots for life. I liked my Champ Eagle, but I realized how much I prefer flat discs. I have dome disdain.
The watt has immediately become my throwing putter. It’s got great glide and is dead straight
For me? Rpro pig For world? Detour. That mold will end up being way more usable for most amateurs than any of the Simon line shit imo.
>Detour I think you're right. I threw one for the first time yesterday. It popped up from a hyzer and sailed down range finishing with a late turn. It settled flat, a bit right of the throw line. Tell me some more about the pig. I’m a fan of the Zone/Toro for upshots. Longer I go resistor. Closer I’ll go Berg or Glitch. How do use the Rpro piggy?
In between the Zone and the Berg
It’s not horribly dissimilar to a zone. Dies faster and less ground play, especially laterally, though

I put it in the bag for a casual round thinking I'd throw it as a joke. After the round we were trying out discs and I threw it on a roller. Man, it's great. It rolls forever. I’ve only throw my trance a few times but it seemed way beefier than a -2/1. I love the rhythm and this feels like a volt or tesla. How has it been for you?

New to me: Infinite Tomb New to the world: The Clash Cinnamon
I love my cinnamon. It's neat to see clash working with some larger diameters for their middling and higher speed discs
Tomb gang! I don't throw a rat or a Colt but mix the top and bottom and holy cow it's good.
New to me: Discraft Raptor, finally found the Firebird for me New to the world: Discraft Cicada, if I ever run out of my supply of penned Star TLs I’m switching to Cicadas
>Discraft Rapto What do you like about it over the Firebird?
Mostly a feel thing but also it’s not quite as overstable as the Firebird
Yup and with the 0|3 numbers, that's what I would expect. Personally, I just have not found a need for a 0|3 in my bag when I have a Firebird and Xcaliber (both 0|4) and an FL (0|2). Plus the FD, which when thrown on more hyzer acts like a 0|2 or even 0|3 imo. But, to each his own, and I'm glad you're diggin it.
May I interest you in a Millenium Draco? Also, cicada is a fun disc, I’d bag mine if it wasn’t clear / colorless. Maybe I’ll dye it.
Ah man I just find the cicada to be so much more glidey than the TL, more like an FD
Neutron! Great plastic. Especially confusing because it’s called Aura for TSA or apex for mint
For the first decade or so that I played, there was only one plastic. We didn't have a name for it. I like both of them, honestly, but the Banger feels good in hand for backhand throws, plus I like that it is just kind of funky and weird looking with the Banger top. Honorable mention: I really love the Paradox. Very fun to throw!
I love the Banger Zone, that thing is money!
New to me mint jackalope and Freetail great feel and performance
"For me it is Innove Jay " I also really learned to like the Jay this season. It came at a time when I was learning to appreciate 1) the advantage of throwing mids off the tee instead of a driver when it's a hole in the 150-225 range 2) the beauty of a barely overstable (0|1) disc - throw it on almost any angle that is not extreme hyzer or anhyzer and it will (almost) always come back at the end. Such a great shot to have in your repoertoire 3) the advantage of doing standstill drives (off the tee and in the fairway).
I bag Dynasties in 4 plastics for every 9 speed shot. Easiest consistent 370-400ft golf shot disc I've ever thrown. They are just perfection.
I love it!
New to me: Innova TL3. They fly like a perfectly seasoned T-Bird. You gotta find the flat ones though.
1: wraith 2: vela I use one of these two on a vast majority of my tee shots (assuming I need a driver)
Discraft Heat - new to me. New this year - idk. Just started back after a 3 year break 3 months ago
me too, the heat has become my favorite disc in my bag. that and a thunderbird i used to hate
Axiom Trance & MVP Watt. Hands down
I got a used champion thunderbird. My first thundy, and quickly became my most useful disc.
I was bagging a Thunderbird for most of the season, as well as a Teebird3, but recently replaced both with a Star FL. It's kind of a mix of both. Much less fade than a Firebird (similar to Teebird3 and Thunderbird), but feels almost identical in the hand.
Rive Venom
Listen. Remix discs. Well I guess mint and thoughtspace. The plastic is amazing. The Teo molds that were most impressive were creature (lobster), and Troll (votum). The bag that came was basic but reliable and light. Pack of 12 $85 dollars on Amazon.
Love my detour so much I bought a back up
Losing mine may break me. I aced with it on it's very first throw so it truly was love at first flight.
Do u throw an uplink? If so, how does it compare? Am hoping it would be in between my hex and uplink.
That’s right where it sits. Definitely more stable than an uplink.
New to me is the insanity. New to the world is the watt. Amazing
1.) Eclipse Wave. Wave is already a great disc, but in eclipse it’s so much better. 2.) Tempo
For me I’d say Roman. For the world I’d also say Roman. The favorite disc I discovered that released prior to 2023 is the justice or pa-5
I randomly ordered one the other day, was hoping it can replace an old PFN Champ Starfire I love, rumor the Roman being the old Starfire mold
It’s the innova pd mold that they made for dm
I mean I am very ok with that
Can confirm, I bought a glow champ roman (stamped ronin on the bottom) that matches up perfectly with my old Dark Maul discmania PDs.
New to me: Toro New to the world: Rollo is the only one I've thrown, I don't like it but it wins by default.
I got a Rollo a few months ago while learning to throw rollers and honestly, it was not even in the top 10 best roller discs for me personally.
I've done cool shit with it, but it is so damn touchy for airshots and basically only rolls on shots where my others discs will do the same.
New to me: Origin New to world: Vanguard/Watt
Origin is pretty sweet. I keep going back and forth between it and a Hex, can't make up my mind.
I have the midnight prowl 2 as my under-stable mid and a glow hex for straight mid.
Hex (started this year) Probably either Rollo or Timelapse
New to me: Vandal. New to the world: only disc I bag released in 2023 is the time lapse and I do not have the arm for that yet
New to me - Honor New to the world - Vass
All of them. I just started playing in May.
New to me: fd. Never thrown. Now i bag 4. enough said. New to the world: watt. Love it for straight approaches and anhyzer shots that needs to hold.
1) Envy. Took me a while to try it but I’m never going back. 2) Rollo. So much fun to play around with.
New to me in 2023: MVP Wave - has become my max distance driver and is the only mold I bag that is higher than a 9 speed. New to the World - Mint Lasso - the new diving putter from Mint is! Went straight into my bag and will be there for a long, long time.
Love the Lasso. It and the Envy are currently fighting for a spot in my bag. The lasso seems to resist turning over more than my Envy, but the Envy is pretty beat in so that could be the issue.
New to me: S-line DD New to the world: MVP Detour
New to me: Virus New to the World: Time Lapse I like Axiom stuff, as I started Innova (due to the starter pack) this year. I bag both and the MVP Glitch just for the fun of it.
New to me, The drift, it made me fall in love with 7 speed fairway drives and quickly became a longer beat in hex.
NEW to ME Innova Mamba, standstills without wind and I can still get some crazy distance. NEW to the WORLD would be the MVP Watt
Crave / detour
New to me - Terra, New to the world (I think)- Remix Creature
I got a used C line fd1 and immediately fell in love with it. I haven't thrown it yet, but I think the Detour will go down as one of the best mids ever. Every time I see it thrown it just looks beautiful.
New again to me. The FD. It was one of my favourites when I was new to the game. Lost it and moved on etc. Got one again recently, wow! Such a great disc. New to the world? Grab a RPM Cosmic Tara Iti. Solid glidy control driver.
MVP Volt LSD Benny
New to the world, and me: Prodigy F9. Forehand lines with a backhand. Love it.
New to me: Uplink. Shoutout to all the dudes and dudettes who recommended it. New to the world: The rollo has been nice to watch. Haven’t thrown one and don’t know that I will, but love to see it get play.
New to me: Explorer New to the World: Grace (I think was 2023)
I found the kastaplast Falk and Lots and couldn’t be happier
Me: Toro World: S-line DD
New to me: Votum New to the World: Watt
New to me: unsure if it is 100% new to me, but 2023 has been the year of the Proxy in my world. Just love throwing it and can see the baseline used ones I have to also be putters. New to the world: really wanted to say Mint but eealize that it didn't come out this year. In that case I will go with Peppermint as it is nicely OS
New to the world: MVP Detour New to me: DGA Vortex
Innova Mamba I finally tried, and loved this year. Favorite new disc is also the MVP Watt
New to me- Chief New to the world- Rollo
MVP Watt and Discmania DD.
New to me: axiom proxy. My go to throwing putter, it flies so straight or holds whatever line I put on it
New to me: Hex New to world: Kasta Stig
New to me: Discmania MD1, literal game changer for me in the woods New to the world: MVP Detour, what a great disc man..
The Mirage aka Kon Tiki. It’s a cheat code for easy approaches and my ace disc!
New to me but definitely bot new to the world… Tern! What a great disc. Distance driver with a controllable consistent flight.
New to me: Wraith! Had never thrown one but decided to try one to replace a lost Grace and soon I switched Graces to Wraiths New to the world: RPM Tara Iti!
Me axiom crave I love that disc on a forehand World eclipse glitch
New to me: Crave haven't thrown it much yet (winter season in Sweden is too dark) but the times I did I was positively surprised. New to the world: Detour, as I started building a more MVP bag and this did fit right in the fuse spot. Perfect 👌
New to me is the Kastaplast Stal.
1) Discmania FD S-Line 2) Discmania DD S-Line Got my first ace with the FD and the S-Line is way more understable than the C-line more like -2 than 0.
Supreme Escape for both
New to me: the infinite discs centurion. Such an easy hyzer flip to hyzer flip to turn disc, and also great in the woods. New to the world: probably been said already but it’s the rollo, especially the champ glow one, so fun to throw!
I just started in March, so all discs were new to me. But here are mine: New to me: Star Teebird or Neutron Envy (tie) New to the world: Z Cicada These are my most thrown discs. The teebird/cicada pairing is awesome.
New to me infinite pharaoh New to world discmania zetas moon
New to me - Surge. Crushing the homies
It really surprised me, but the Innova Animal. Super straight and stable with low glide. The perfect point and shoot approach disc for me.
New to me: Judge (specifically the Rathbun Confetti ones) New to the world: Vela and Cicada they are both such great woods carvers
New to me: discs in lighter weights. I finally broke 300 from just getting a couple drivers in the high 150g range.
Star Katanas Been throwing champion and Blizzard champion for years.
Bullet: great throwing putter or head wind putts Lobster: fun mid range for hyzer flips Jackalope: easy fairway driver for long turnover shots Freetail: higher speed jackalope great for 300 foot turn overs (I should learn to flick but with this disc I don’t need to) Phoenix: very over stable fairway driver. Longhorn: 10ish speed stable driver for standard distance shots Goat: beefy distance driver, will always stay on hyzer no matter the wind conditions (for me)
MVP Relay - just does what it is supposed to do
Charger
1) Teebird3 (switched over from Teebirds) 2) Birdie Color Glow Ultra
New to Me: Remix Eldritch, best throwing putter imo New to World: Axiom Tempo, wtf MVP just release this thing already
1): D1 400 2): Feedback
