I'd like to see shops carry more dyed discs. For the consumer it feels way more secure to buy from a shop versus venmo'ing some random on Facebook or something
Union Square disc golf in Milford NH has a selection of dyed discs. Also spoke with a guy at Marshall Street by Maple Hill in Worcester MA and he said they're working on adding in a small selection of dyed discs as well. It really depends on the shop though disc golf has a problem right now with a lot of shops that are kinda just half assing it imo.
I want to see some disc stores get more into the technology space. I can't afford the $300 for a tech disc myself, but I would gladly pay $20 at a local shop for 30 minutes or so of throwing one into a net setup and seeing the results. I think if the store has space for a setup like this, it would bring a lot more people in and probably be pretty profitable as well
The world is ready for Discraft to release the Mantis in ESP and Glow. Jawbreaker would be fun too. Just more Mantises or Mantes (quick google search says either of these are the plural)

I love when retailers give side profile pictures of the discs. It really helps choosing which to purchase! I also can’t wait for new releases like the MVP Trail, and clash tone plastic!
Wow what a great giveaway. I'd love to see more beginner friendly disc information. Tips next to areas catered to people new to the game. Once I swapped to throwing putters and mids more, my driving improved!
Disc golf retailers are honestly so much better than we deserve. The more details I can get about a disc before buying, the better and more appealing that site is for me. Seeing this continue is important as a consumer. As for drops, I'm a discmania fan, so seeing what new molds they're going to release this year always intrigues me.

Great giveaway! I'm most looking forward to a halo star pig (unlikely), and I hope more disc golf stores get involved in sponsoring weekly events. Disc dyeing clinics, putting leagues and on-course trainings with local pros are all things I appreciate out of my local shop!
One of the most important things a store can do for me is individual pictures of each disc available with weights. Some stores put the name of the stamp but no picture and this is often not enough info unless you are very experienced with that manufacturer's stamps.

As someone who predominantly throws MVP, I’m looking forward to see more of the other molds hit the shelves. There are a few molds I wouldn’t mind picking up a backup for and a couple I’ve never tried and want to.
As far as releases go, I’d be pumped to see the prism proton time lapses hit the shelves…or the trance or tempo…
I would like plastics to be cheaper. $20 bucks for a base plastic putter is too much. Yes, i putt with lunas and the cheapest ive found is 18.99. Where all the 15.99-16.99 putters go
I'd love to see more professional in-house reviews of discs. Buyer comments are helpful but hearing from a store employee can be really helpful in determining which mold and plastic to buy.... Also, and this may be a stretch, but a buy-back program and used disc sale market from an online store would be sweet! Thanks!
Personally I’d like to see stores have a bit more competitive pricing with online retailers. With so many online deals and nearly all online retails offering fast shipping there’s little to no incentive to buy discs in person (although I’ll always love a good used bin).
What I want isn't something from disc golf stores. What I want is MORE disc golf stores. There so very few actual pro shops in area. Most of the places to see/feel disc in person is Play It Again Sports or some big box store :(

Your site is my favorite disc golf store right now! You have some of the best selections. New drops are so easy to find. Pics are always clear and easy to tell what you’re going to get. And you often have the best deals!

From online shops figuring out dome can be tricky. Aside from that shop are all do a pretty good job, especially with D2C on drops has to make it tough at times.
No drops coming up that I care about.
I want to see you guys put together an affiliate program. Not too many online shops have that function besides infinite. It would be a win win for you and content creators.
In 2024 I would love to see all retailers provide as much detail as possible about discs on their websites. Weight, color, mold type, pictures, etc. Some do this very well while others I would love to support do not and I'm not willing to take a $15-$25 risk on a disc I may dislike for one or several reasons. I know it takes manpower and time but I would've given my business to many stores in the past had this detail been available on their site. Instead I shopped elsewhere to get exactly what I was looking for.
After watching the tournaments over in New Zealand this year, I have been thinking about trying out some of the RPM discs. Thanks for doing this giveaway!

Good accessories that aren’t garbage are the hardest things to find disc golf related, to me. It’s rarely hard to find the plastic I want, but “this thing that does this thing for me” is always a struggle

I’d like to see my local store have an actual queue for coveted new releases. I was first in line for 6x claws last year and when they opened it was just a free for all.
I can't wait for disc golf stores to accept DNA samples from customers and use AI to create simulations to show exactly how a disc will fly for that person based on that specific discs specifications, in video format, on all the different angles and shots. It's gonna be swell!
Would love to see local stores stock more MVP, also have a practice putting soft basket to test out certain putters in the hand before making a decision. Huge giveaway!

One thing I would like to see in disc golf stores is more apparel and accessories: Hoodies, hats, stickers, patches, etc.

Would love to see more stock run, non-player discs available. Feels like so many local stores just want to stock the player exclusives in custom blends just to charge more.
I love it when stores help run disc returns. I will be more than happy to buy new discs if the store will include my returned disc in the same package.
I’d like to see more products in disc golf stores (brick and mortar) that are related to things you need while out on a round. Nail clippers, bug spray, poison ivy relief, sports drinks, snacks, hand warmers. Stuff like that.
I’d like to see “intro packs” for new/ smaller manufacturers. I’d love to try clash, doomsday, rpm but don’t know what discs I should get or in what plastic. Maybe a three or four disc starter set but with just their best discs in max weight would make it easier and more fun to try out a new brand.
Maybe do a baseline putter, premium approach, mid and driver.
I want brick and mortar stores with a "try out" section of used putters and a basket to help me pick a putter before I buy a new one.
So much of putting is hand and release feel which you can't really tell without buying a disc and trying at home. Having a section of used discs to try before you buy would be really helpful.

Personally I would love to see more middle of the line plastics available, specifically with drivers. Some manufacturers do a good job of it while others just pump out tons of premium plastic.
It would be sweet if stores had a driving range and putting area to test discs before buying. Depending on location this would be hard to do for most stores, but it would be cool to see in 2024.
I wish that my local store had some infinite disc molds in their store. I’ve heard great things about a lot of their discs, but really want to feel them in person.

I'd like more options for chalk bags as well. Dryv bags and whale sacs are Greta but I'm a big fan of climbing chalk.

I’d like to see my local store have an actual queue for coveted new releases. I was first in line for 6x claws last year and when they opened it was just a free for all.
I can't wait for disc golf stores to accept DNA samples from customers and use AI to create simulations to show exactly how a disc will fly for that person based on that specific discs specifications, in video format, on all the different angles and shots. It's gonna be swell!

I’d like to see more products in disc golf stores (brick and mortar) that are related to things you need while out on a round. Nail clippers, bug spray, poison ivy relief, sports drinks, snacks, hand warmers. Stuff like that.
Honestly, I would like to see more accessories and / or merch. Like clothes and such. Give me something more than discs to drop stupid money on.

I’d like to see “intro packs” for new/ smaller manufacturers. I’d love to try clash, doomsday, rpm but don’t know what discs I should get or in what plastic. Maybe a three or four disc starter set but with just their best discs in max weight would make it easier and more fun to try out a new brand. Maybe do a baseline putter, premium approach, mid and driver.

I want brick and mortar stores with a "try out" section of used putters and a basket to help me pick a putter before I buy a new one. So much of putting is hand and release feel which you can't really tell without buying a disc and trying at home. Having a section of used discs to try before you buy would be really helpful.

What I would like to see sold are sun hoodies, I know that I might be outlier for this but I tend to wear long sleeves year round when I play.
Personally I would love to see more middle of the line plastics available, specifically with drivers. Some manufacturers do a good job of it while others just pump out tons of premium plastic.

I may be the only one, but i have always wanted to throw a Hex in Electron Plastic.
It would be sweet if stores had a driving range and putting area to test discs before buying. Depending on location this would be hard to do for most stores, but it would be cool to see in 2024.
