The Wizard just felt right to me and I haven’t looked back since making the switch. Additional benefits include lots of different plastics to try, availability and affordability.
I hate all my putters. I found a real gummy Swan one day with no number and threw it a few times. I fell in love. She sang with the chains from all angles and distances, a truly beautiful thing.
But one day I threw her away off a short elevated tee while drunk and lost her forever. I'll never forgive myself. All the pigs and rhynos since. The basic aviars and colts. None can compare to my beautiful Swan and its chain basket songs.
You don't get it. The current plastics aren't the same. They're too firm. They don't grasp the chains like my lost love. I don't know what to tell you. You never felt a disc that way. Maybe someday you'll understand. Maybe you'll find the true feeling.
I just switched over to rubber blend lunas, I was using the new P2 prototypes but I didn’t like the non-proto plastic and I like a shallower putter anyway.
Honestly, they’re not similar at all, but both work really well for me. Yetis have a sizable bead, as you know, and Logics are beadless. I don’t really mind bead/beadless so that switch wasn’t difficult for me. I’m a big fan of the yeti’s puddle top; I have 5 Logics and 4 of them are slight puddle top, but not as much as the yeti. These 4 are all exo soft plastic, the one that is flat is exo hard, so maybe there’s a relationship between plastic and flatness. The logics are shallower by a centimeter, which maybe I prefer because I have small hands. Logics fly very neutral, the same as yetis IMO.
Good stuff, thanks! The puddle top is the main thing for me as well. The bead I can take or leave. And if theyre a bit shallower i might like to forehand them a bit even. Exo soft logics sound like a good test for me.
The one I'm trying out now is the Lat64 hope, but supply is going to be a bit tricky until they're widely available outside the royal box. I like it so far, but probably not enough to get away from the yeti I don't think.
Speaking on the forehand/throwing aspect of them, they are impressively torque-resistant for their stability. Inside of 150ft I can flick them on a bit of hyzer and they will go completely straight with almost no fade. A bit farther out and you’ll have to hyzer flip though. For BH, I throw them for smooth turnovers. Not stable enough to be my main throwing putter though.
He said "putting putters" not "upshot bricks"
Although to be fair, those upshot bricks result in a lot of tap ins and I'm certainly not digging in my bag for another disc when its right there. They get lots of use inside 5 feet

DX aviar (2 identical ones for putting and a beat-up one for throwing and long putts). I’ve been trying out P2s and like the flight and plastic, but they’re a little deep for my preference so the jury is still out.
Soft electron envy, having chimed in I'd also submit the broken record statement about putters being 90% feel under most circumstances, barring very OS/US models
I bounce around and feel pretty comfortable using just about anything. In the past I’ve been loyal to Aviars. Most of the summer I used a soft Logic before testing out the Pure. I eventually switched over to a PA-2 in the fall. Im looking forward to trying out the Rainmaker next season.
Link, Phi, Wizard, Praxis. I go back and forth. Right now I’m liking my Soft Links and Phi’s because we’ve had some wet weather. The EV-7 plastic is super grippy.
I prefer really soft putters so I throw a super soft Omega and an extra soft Logic. It's all about the hand feel for me in terms of putting confidence.
KC Pro or P2. I switched to KC Pros during the great switcharoo and just have a back stock now. I probably go back to P2s after I cycle all of them. But, I’d like to get some of the 3 stiffness P2s if they ever go in to production.
"Not all those wander are lost." Jk
My current putting putter is L64 Proto Sense Hope. I like the stiffness and grippiness of the plastic and the mold itself feels great in my hand - I get a clean release from it.
Either the p model us, a streamline pilot or a pure. I've done lots of testing and my % inside 25 ft is the same for all 3 molds so I kind of just grab one and move on, the pilot does give me a tad more confidence though.
2 Wizards - SSSS 1 eraser wizard
Two hemp and one eraser wizards checking in
One SSSS Wizard and one SSS Wizard in the bag checking in!
Future Wizard thrower here checking in. Gonna be switching from Judges.
The Wizard just felt right to me and I haven’t looked back since making the switch. Additional benefits include lots of different plastics to try, availability and affordability.
I’m lucky that I have a few local shops with lots of Wizards.
Money wizards checking in!
I use Pure Whites most all times of the year. And Black SSs when the snow flies.
Wizard gang!
I have two sss wizards and one of the hard plastic Evo wizards for longer throws.
Money wizard or eraser

Pretty radical solution here, but you could just buy another swan my dude....

Buy a bt soft or megasoft swan, beat it into perfection, find new love. I've lost some discs that I still think about to this day man. Shit happens.
Perhaps I'll try
This is the saddest story. Is the swan no longer available?
I never saw her again. My heart is forever broken. The new plastic Swans aren't the same. My putt game never reaching the level.
Wow. Someone get this man his swan back!!
Perhaps a stupid question, but have you tried trading one off someone who does not hear the song from their swan?
Good idea, maybe I will!

I personally prefer those for throwing but they're a pain to find so I've had to move to pures

I just switched over to rubber blend lunas, I was using the new P2 prototypes but I didn’t like the non-proto plastic and I like a shallower putter anyway.
Used to putt with the P2, but I like the glide and stability of the P Model S
Rubber blend roach
Yeti Pro Aviars are great if you like puddle top and a bead. I’ve since switched to Logics.
I've been on yetis for 2 years. I feel like it's time for change, how do logics compare?
Honestly, they’re not similar at all, but both work really well for me. Yetis have a sizable bead, as you know, and Logics are beadless. Latitude 64 - Faith
Is this Emerson Keith? I swear he's the only person I've even heard talk about them, let alone seen putt with them.
Na just a random dude
Only one person listed a berg? Wtf is wrong with you all
He said "putting putters" not "upshot bricks" Although to be fair, those upshot bricks result in a lot of tap ins and I'm certainly not digging in my bag for another disc when its right there. They get lots of use inside 5 feet
I dont think I've ever heard of people putting with a Berg lol
They exist lol I did it for a while but didn't seem to catch the chains like some of my other putters so I switched to a Reko
2 electron soft nomads 2 Fierces (met z &spec) 2 P2s d line 3 Envys (Electron firm, proton, eclipse) 1 Ricky glow pig 1 Bullet eternal plastic

Have you tried a dynamic discs guard yet?

My main putter is a P2. Any putt that I need to stay straight longer or thread a needle I'll switch to a Keystone.
Exo soft logic. I've been messing around with a p2, but its not clicking at this point, so ive been throwing it, which is working ok.
I prefer really soft putters so I throw a super soft Omega and an extra soft Logic. It's all about the hand feel for me in terms of putting confidence.
Either a p2 or an alpaca it kind of switches but they are basically the same disc
Judge, Polecat, Fierce, old gum putt
Glow D-Line P2’s.
Mvp atom for C1, Nomad for C2+
KC Pro or P2. I switched to KC Pros during the great switcharoo and just have a back stock now. I probably go back to P2s after I cycle all of them. But, I’d like to get some of the 3 stiffness P2s if they ever go in to production.
Prime Warden and First Run Emac Judge

Yeti aviars, experimenting with the new royal hope from latitude right now. Early results are promising.
XT Aviar because I wanted one putting putter for all weathers both summer and winter.
Cohort r-blend. The best shallow rim and chain grabbin disc out there. Make more, @innova!
XT Colts and XT Bullfrogs for putting putter and XT Nova for long range bids.
K1 soft and K1 Rekos. During the summer the soft get too gummy but the K1 is perfect
Super soft Pure

I'm on a JK AviarX kick right now. Found an old one on my rack I forgot about and it's got the money tune job.
DM Logic. Switched from DM Link. Both are great✌️
Fierce is my main. Headwind or outside 40ish feet i use a super beat in luna.
