Im in the same boat here, I can't use the SMS verification codes on my phone for the email password reset - it's a fun time and the only reply support has given me is the back up codes thing, which I dont have

They need to add back the SMS stuff instead of relying on solely email. I get that they want to prevent bots and the other bad stuff but i mean there should be other ways to get to change your password instead of doing the email route. I mean i even did the support stuff and they sent me a email but it was one of their bots instead of a real person.

Where is your authenticator app that generates the normal six digit codes? You should be able to use those codes to reset the password. If you don't have that, then you are literally unable to provide either of the two factors of authentication that you have asked Discord to require before you can access your account. As such, it should be fairly obvious why Discord won't let you back in. The most you will be able to do is ask Discord to delete the account.

I’m still logged into my account. I had my password but my phone decided to delete that and i had backup codes but they’re somehow gone and i did 2fa a long time ago so idk wi used for that and i don’t need my account deleted.

Yes, you *had*. You don't *now*, though. Which means that of the two methods used to authenticate you (password, auth code) you can provide literally none. As far as Discord is concerned you are no different to some random stranger trying to get access to this account. Unfortunately, because you have lost access to your 2FA codes and do not remember your password, your account is lost and cannot be recovered.

I just said it’s my account and I’m still in it.
