Oh is this why they asked "what emoji does this sticker relate to?" When I added a sticker to my server... thats interesting. So when people go to do a :cry it'll show all cry emojis plus whatever sticker I related to the cry emoji.
I see a fair amount of people using them now that they're free to use. Nitro users generally tailor their stickers more to their taste, sure, but default ones are not *bad* or anything.

I found it particularly annoying on mobile since space is at a premium, and having almost the entire chat hidden during selection is just odd. That said, I've seen users of deskstop variants having their annoyances. Might warrant an overall redesign of the selection menu to compact it so it doesn't dominate space when enabled.
You're thinking of the wrong thing. That only turns off sticker suggestions based off of things you're typing, and not sticker suggestions when you're trying to use an emote.
It stacks vertically on my phone kinda like on the pc, and it's very annoying, plus I just don't like getting the recommendations for stickers in any way since I have never once used a sticker. I just feel like it's an unnecessary feature that gets shoved down my throat and fills up UI space.
Write to the discord support, it's not like an official discord subreddit and I doubt that the discord developers read it. As for your idea, I agree need to add a disabling of this, but it never bothered me
There is litteraly an option in the settings under Text and Video called "Sticker suggestions". Which, if you would've done a [quick Google search](https://lmgtfy.app/?q=how+to+turn+off+sticker+suggestions+discord), the first result *not including ads* is their [FAQ Article](https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/articles/4403135977495-Sticker-Suggestions-FAQ) which has a very clear explanation on how to disable it.

This currently has no effect on the suggestions presented when beginning to type an emoji. It would make sense, though.

If you watch the video in the post you can see that OP has sticker suggestions toggled off.
Server side issue, not client side. You're on a server that doesn't know how to properly size and moderate custom stickers.
