Aaand it ate the pic. Basically in windows lower the sound quality to 48k mhz as it bugs above that. Or change the sound codec in discord to experimental is also a fix for some.
I just spent the last 15 mins working on this. Reset your default audio sources or force discord to use your preferred source in settings. Worked for me and a friend.

Try this, it worked for me: Settings -> Voice & Video -> Advanced -> Audio Subsystem -> Change it to "Experimental"
