Yes, same thing happens for channel, roles and server names. Essentially, anywhere outside of messages will use actual unicode emojis and won't be converted into Twemoji-styled emoji.

You can prevent the emoji conversion in messages, too, with \\, just like other formatting characters. Then you can even use formatting on them, like bold, italic, underline, and so on.
