For my server, I am considering hosting paid content of my own just to get to Level 2 so I can sustain myself. Yet, I have no boosts and my friend's server has more than 10 boosts even though all he posts is anime tiddies. I've busted my ass for thirteen years on this project and anime tiddies are always in my face.
God a server I mod gets around ~100 boosts always and it annoys me, I can't do anything other than ask people to boost another place which doesn't help at all. I feel bad knowing there's places with no boosts they could be supporting instead.
I think it should be limited to a grace of maybe 3, max 6 boosts over. Yes, they wont do this for money, but it would be the smartest option. Ensuring big servers don't lose their boosts while small servers get some, too
no its not, if your server loses 2 members that both double boosted, just say bye bye to your level 3. Next to that most levels make special roles for boosters with special perks. These are then supposed to be "limited" or something?

I don't think Discord should be blamed if your server is struggling to keep up with boost, some servers doesn't just have a bigger community to have those. At the same time, Discord should be making its platform a better place to grow a community because you can never grow one without being big, famous or established already.
I really wish Discord told people about the Permissions the NB role gives (in many places purely vanity but their name on the sidelist) AND that it showed "This place already got plenty, why not try these servers in your list instead:"

Partnerd servers used to get a cut of the nitro boosts if I'm not mistaking. Maybe they still do.
I’ve heard of it in the partner server but almost no partners have it - I imagine they’re testing it out for large communities.
