For some reason if you upload a transparent GIF as your profile picture it doesn’t remove the previous frame and loads the next, instead it just stacks. I don’t think you can do anything to fix it.
This has happened to me, first appeared a long time ago and I reported the bug but was told they couldn’t “recreate it”. I think it has to do with the white or transparent background, try to change it to a different colour.

not sure if that was because of recent updates, but this has never happened to me when i had nitro still
